1st time visiting this location, its a bit smaller than the Avon location. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is due to the service. Our server seemed to be in a rush when working with us, it set a weird tone for the experience. The food was great though, the ingredients were full and fresh and the wait was not bad at all considering we were a larger table too. The dining room this afternoon was very loud so it was a bit hard to hear one another when we tried talking across the table. But thats not the fault of the restaurant.

Delicious! We made our own bowls instead of ordering off the menu. They have a wide range of options in terms of vegetables, meat, and sauces. I would definitely eat here again. The staff was friendly, too. It's not a fancy restaurant but I appreciate the mural in the entrance and the flags hanging where you assemble your bowl.

A good friend of mine invited me to Yummy bowl for a belated birthday dinner. I had never been before and I was super impressed! She had a bowl and I had sushi. The sushi was really good and they had gluten free soy sauce! I was so happy! My friend filled her bowl to the brim with all kinds of goodness and it smelled divine when it was delivered to her. You can try the sauces before putting them on your bowl and they have everything labeled that's gluten free as well. Great spot on the south side!

Yummy Bowl is a great place for Mongolian BBQ. You can choose your noodles, veggies, and proteins and then mix your own sauce and seasoning concoctions. They also put steamed or fried rice at the bottom if you request it. Pro tip: you can pack the bowl as high as you want. I've seen some people do some pretty impressive bowls! You can easily get a few meals if you take your leftovers to go.

This ALWAYS hits the spot for fresh, fast and tasty Mongolian style food. The food bar has an ample selection of vegetables, noodle and protein / seafood options to offer limitless combinations. We always get the unlimited Yummy Bowl option to try various combos of ingredients and sauces. Even at the busiest of times we get our food extremely fast. Honestly, cooked in literal minutes, we legit crave this place. Totally worth the price and their selection of sushi rolls is also very good. Consistently delicious!!! :-)

I was referred to this great gem. This is so delicious. You go in and you create your big bowl. The bowl they give you to pick your items isn't that big but if you know how to pack food you are all good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is family friendly. This is a must try when your in Indianapolis

Yummy Bowl - is exactly what I was looking for on this cold winters day! They offer build a bowl style options where you decide your stir fry! Since they give you rice - I always skip the tempting other carbs otherwise I am going to need two bowls and no rice! I built mine with cabbage, bean sprouts, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, bok choy, green peppers, green onions, and shrimp (yess I managed to fit it all in!). But really it is the sauce combo that makes the magic so pick wisely! They geniusly have baby tasting spoons (so cute) so you can taste the sauce! I picked 2 as suggested - hibachi sauce for a tangy sweetness and Thai chili sauce for just a touch of kick and a complimentary sweetness (I would say this is low to medium heat). It was perfect and I ate it all gone! Food - it's always all about the food - a restaurant would have to be pretty terrible for me to give service and ambiance dings! But I wasn't really paying much attention to those things as my phone was keeping me company while I ate my lunch and listened the happy chattering of patrons enjoying their food and lunch company!

Make your own bowl: steak, shrimp, scallop, broccoli, carrot, onion, mushroom.

Delicious food options for your bowl. Good service. Definitely recommend and looking forward to another visit.

Service was definitely a vibe. My daughter and I did a to go order and the guys there had us rolling in laughter because we said we usually got to the speedway location( because we use to live 5mins from it) now we live in Greenwood. Food is just as amazing as the service. Great bang for the buck! I love how we can add as much as you want they even have specials for different times like unlimited during certain hours for dine in.

The Mongolian Grill near our house in North suburban Indy closed a few years ago, so I was thrilled when we were spending a couple nights on the south side and I saw that there was one right across the street from our hotel. Other than having a little trouble communicating with the hostess, who also became our server, everything was great. We indicated that it was our first time there, and she struggled to give us directions as to exactly how we needed to proceed, but we kept at it and eventually got the information we needed. One thing I loved was that the meat was unlimited. You could have as much as you thought you could eat and fit in your bowl. I've recently gone to a couple Mongolian grills in a couple other cities, and they limit your meat portion by adding it to your bowl after you add your own veggies. I also liked the plethora of sauce choices, and everything came to us very hot and freshly cooked. In my case, I combined chicken, pork, and shrimp, along with several different vegetables, and selected teriyaki and garlic sauces for them to add as they cooked it. I liked that we could add our sauce in little cups, to control how much or how little we wanted of each. It was all delicious. We greatly enjoyed our meals, and look forward to going back when we're in that part of town again!

The food was nice and fresh. I got a California roll , the avocado tasted a bit old but did not bother me, you couldn't tell but I eat an avocado everyday so. My friend had a yummy bowl and he enjoyed it. The staff was more than friendly and helpful (my first time) the Restruant itself was clean, we were quick to get seated on a Saturday afternoon

Came on a Sunday at 1pm and wooow it was busy. Line out the door busy. Got sat fairly quickly despite that, and got our food at a reasonable time as well. Very loud when it's busy, there's not a lot in the restaurant to dampen sound. Some changes I've noticed is the prices keep increasing, which we didn't see the price for the yummy bowl on their menu at all. Last time I came here (06/13/2025) a lunch bowl was $12.99, and as of 07/20/2025 it is $14.99 for a regular lunch yummy bowl. I don't know how much the bottomless bowl is because they don't list the price on their menu?? That's my biggest gripe really.

We ordered the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and the Dynamite Roll, and honestly, everything delivered. The flavors were bold, fresh, and reminded me why this chain has been around forever. That said, I think P.F. Chang's is one of those places where quality can vary quite a bit from location to location. This downtown location got it right. I went on a weekday, and it was super empty, which meant fast, attentive service without feeling rushed. The location is convenient if you're downtown for an event. My only knock is the price. It's a little steep for the chain restaurant and sizing, so I left satisfied... but also aware that inflation apparently reached the classics. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. Sometimes the "basic" restaurant quietly reminds you why it became popular in the first place.

I forgot about the cherry blossom drink otherwise I would have gotten that. The black pepper filet seemed over seasoned which is odd to say. There was a lot of crunch in every bite. I happened to visit on a warmer day so I was able to see the space with the garage door open. It was golden hour and it had everything all lit up. Very beautiful. Our service was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better server. I can't remember her name but she was so detailed in her descriptions, thoughtful with her suggestions, and had the perfect amount of attentiveness. Now on to the fun parts.... Drinks were a hit! We told our server what we like and they recommended a couple options. I again can't remember the exact name of the drink but mine was a gin cocktail. I'll attach some photos for you. As for the food, every bite I took was delicious. Our table shared the fried brussel sprouts and the ginger miso salad. A very lovely way to ease into our meal on a lighter note. They split up the salad onto two plates for us, which was sweet of them. The portion was pretty good for a $12 salad. Very refreshing. Brussel sprouts were absolutely fire. Get them! Along with that, I also ordered the tempura shrimp maki roll. Inside the roll was cucumber and avocado with giant tempura shrimp right on top, drizzled in spicy mayo. The presentation was cool, a slightly deconstructed version of what I would get somewhere else. There wasn't a single bite left on the plate. I would order all three of these dishes again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but also works for just grabbing a bite with friends. Whenever I find myself back in Indy, Modita will be on my list.

We had a reservation at 6:45, and were sat shortly after that time. The place was busy for a Friday night, and was somewhat loud. Our waitress greeted us quickly, and was on top of things throughout the night. I started off with a ginger miso salad, based on recommendations on this page. Personally, I could have went without the $12 salad. I would have paid more like $6 for the amount of actual salad I got. The dressing was good, but nothing extraordinary. I did ask for no cucumbers- I could taste a faint taste of cucumbers on the salad, so think they just took them off after they were already placed. We split some Bao Buns. These were the highlight of the show. The pork on them was thick, the slaw was fresh, and the bao bun itself was fluffy. We split two dishes for dinner- the short rib and the chicken udon noodles. The chicken udon noodles were fantastic- packed full of flavor and tons of toppings in it. The short rib fell a little short of my expectations, but I had high expectations to begin with. We have had the short rib multiple times in the past- and normally it is a hunk of meat, similar to a roast. Now, it is strips of tiny pieces of meat with a bone attached to it. If the owner/general manager is reading this- GO BACK TO THE ROAST STYLE- the strips of meat was too much work to eat. Still packed full of great flavor though. I had the bridge to Anshun for my drink. I had never had Baiju before, but glad I tried it. It was a tangy drink that was also sweet- would say it's a must try. Overall, some changes since our last visit that weren't expected, but overall had a great evening here. Can't wait to return.
