We ordered the orange chicken, wontons, noodles, and beef and broccoli with white rice. The best tasting thing we got was the white rice as the food was not good at all. The orange chicken had such a weird taste & did not taste like orange chicken at all. The beef and broccoli wasn't edible and didn't taste like beef. I will never be back to try this place again. Recently moved to the area. First time we came to this restaurant. We ordered the orange chicken and the teriyaki chicken with soup. The food was good for its value. The woman taking the order was friendly and courteous ( a little loud but that's ok ) . The interior was minimal but this seems more of a takeout place than in restaurant facility. The only criticism is that we lived close by. Literally, within 2 minutes walking and 1 minute by car. We picked up food and took it home and the food wasn't hot at all. We had to reheat the food. It's not a big deal as we reheated it but many folks won't do that so this can be improved. Overall, good experience and we will be coming back . read more

This interview is long overdue. This has now become my favorite local down the street Chinese pick up. They have usurped Lee's Cafe (formerly Lee's Cafe back in the day), after one too many menu in owner changes. They were closed briefly at the beginning of the Covid shut down. And I'm so glad they're open again. One of my favorite Americanized Chinese dishes is Egg Foo Yong. And they make it with HUGE pieces of shrimp! Three big delicious patties. So good. I also really like their take on Walnut Shrimp with big fresh pieces of broccoli. This is obviously a family run, family-friendly restaurant. My family used to order from here all the time. I really don't know what happened to this place it used to be so good. I ordered here for pickup last week and after the disgusting experience I will never be back! I was driving home and ordered on the app. I was half an hour early and figured I would walk in pay and wait in the car. When I walked in I saw a very young boy going back and forth from doing something on the bare dirty floor to then peeling oranges on the counter. My dish had oranges in it and I was really hoping that it wasn't for my dinner. The lady seemed annoyed that I had gotten there half an hour early as she pointed to the oranges and said we are still preparing your food. I said yes I know I planned on waiting in the car. The appetizers themselves were fresh and hot. We had cheese puffs and spring rolls. The entree's though were terrible. For the money we spent it should have been at least edible. The chicken was tough, stringy and dry. I had a few shrimp in my meal that were actually rancid. The rice was dry, clumpy and stuck together. You could tell the meat was old and had been microwaved to death. I dared not eat the oranges lol. I got severe stomach cramps and frequent intestinal issues( you get the idea) and have no doubt it was from this place. Needless to say I will not be eating here again. Okay, so we are pretty picky with our Chinese food. Usually going to the same place where we know the owners but they don't do delivery so we tried this place out. Usually take out disappoints in comparison. Everything met or exceeded expectations! Everything was flavorful and fresh. Egg drop soup was great. The veggie lo mein was a huge portion! Great for leftovers. I was also very impressed with the fried rice that came with the general Tso chicken. It wasn't just tinged rice with some egg like most friend rice sides but actual fried rice with vegetables! This is our new Chinese take out choice. I hope next time is just as good. I eat at this place like 6 times a month.... I love the hot pepper shrimp!! The chicken fried rice is really good. My kids love the beef and broccoli and egg roles.. dumplings are pretty good also.. the prices have increased a little but that's at most places.. I appreciate the consistency in their quality and their large portions...They are probably more of a 4 star but they get 5 stars because of the drive thru!!!! I ordered here four times and they deliver to LMF. The first two orders were good experience and good food. The third order they gave me the wrong soup so I overlooked it and didn't complain. This recent and 4th order, I called to place an order. They called me back wanting to charge an additional $3 for delivery fee bc it was an additional mile for them to drive. All of my orders are over $35 not including tip. I never had this problem in the past orders and I found this restaurant on a flyer at my door. No where does it limit the number of miles of delivery nor when placing a deliver order they take down the address and would say if they don't deliver in the area. On the flyer it states FREE DELIVERY $15 minimum order, LIMITED delivery area. Not only I had to wait long to place an order, they want to lose out on a $40 order because it was an extra mile out of their way for $3 and they never charged me in the past to deliver in my area!! I had to lower my Stars. As of recently the food quality has been awful. I ordered for myself and my boyfriend and he absolutely hated his food. The last two times I have not finished my food because the taste was fist off. I got a smoothie with boba in it and the boba had an odd consistency. I don't know what happened to this place. RUDE Employee (Lady on front desk) My friend and I, together with our 2y/o girls came here for lunch. Their food really tastes good and thumbs up for that. However, when we were about to leave the place, the lady came over and started to clean the table and told us "next time, order to go. It's too messy!" We ordered through yelp and the hubs picked up our Togo. We were pleasantly surprised! We chanced it because I really wanted some basic Chinese food and wanted to try a new place for us. I'm so glad we checked them out. Scallion pancake was so yummy (2 in an order). We each had a dinner combo: me with chicken and garlic sauce and him the sweet and sour chicken. The pork eggrolls that came with the meal were a good size, and so were the soups. The sweet and sour sauce was typical, and they gave plenty. Today was my first time here, coming back from the dentist in Richmond. Excellent customer service. It was around 3:30 PM, not real busy. I had preordered a variety to take home. One was a Cheese puff. Normally Chinese restaurants put in crab in these. I am highly allergic to all seafood. They were kind enough to go above and beyond to make me personally cheese puffs with no crab. Theirs normally include crab. The rest of their food we ordered was excellent. The chicken was soft like butter in the fried rice. Not tough and rubbery. I highly recommend this fantastic place! We will be coming back. read more

The shrimp in the Dragon&Phoenix is Amazing!!!! Whatever that sauce is I want to replicate it for all my food! My husband who doesn't care for shrimp wanted to eat my shrimp. I will never eat here again. I found mold on my egg in the egg drop soup and went back up there to see about getting a refund. They offered me more soup ... I don't want anymore of their soup or ANY of their food in general after seeing mold on my food. If that was bad, what else are they serving their customers!? So then they offered half of a refund if I gave them the moldy egg. I thought I should keep it, for what ever reason so I didn't get any kind of a refund. They were very rude to me about the whole thing. And they are the ones serving OLD food! I fed my family that food until I saw the mold. I was about to share that soup with my two year old! Here we go: Mongolian Beef - FLAVORLESS! It was swimming in a thin brown bland gravy and was not tasty. Shrimp Fried Rice - who can mess this up? This place can. The rice tasted like it was cooked with way too much water and it was bland too. Even soy sauce couldn't help it. There was hardly any egg and NO bean sprouts. It also looked like they had a big pot of fried rice in the back and simply added shrimp to it. Egg rolls - they were the standard fare for egg rolls, but nothing to get excited about. The people working there were very friendly and I wanted so much for this place since it was new to our area. Such a disappointment.
