This is my go-to chinese restaurant. I used to order from here once a week (at least!), but I had to eventually learn to cook so it's not so often anymore. I have ordered pretty much everything on their menu by now, but my favorite are their egg rolls, asian scallion pancakes (if you've never tried these, please order them the next time!), sesame chicken, and their tofu with veggies. So glad I don't have to order from them anymore. My house was flooded and during my rebuild I ordered from them almost everyday if not at least 4 times a week for 2-3 months. Not to mention the food is not that great but I guess I didn't had that much choice as this is the nearest Chinese restaurant near me. I always ordered their lunch special and I remember once I was so busy and I called 2 minutes after their lunch special hours and they refuse to give me the lunch price. I mean, only two minutes late and they know me, I order everyday from them and they know my situation but they refuse to give me the lunch special price because I called two minutes late! They deliver to Long Meadow Farms, which is great, there's only 1 other suitable Chinese delivery option by WalMart on Fry, and they're worse. Ordered: Cream Cheese Crab Wonton or Puff (forgot name) Pork + Beef Fried Rice General Tso's Wonton Soup Ordering via Yelp went great BUT if you call them (I have their flyer) they offer a discount for 2 dinners. on Yelp, there is no option! So I paid extra because I was ordering from phone. Delivery was within an hour as estimated. Very polite driver. Cream cheese puffs very good, the usual if you have eaten them before. Fried rice was also usual and good Every place makes General Tso's different, and I expected a more molasse-y, sticky and fried meal but it was probably (healthier?) with a runnier sauce. Not a favorite for me. Soup smelled bad. I don't know if it was because the plastic was heating up and dissipating into soup (yes, that's a thing) but broth didn't smell fresh. Okay had to do a quick update..the pancakes are still solid, but apparently they sell fries and they are SO good, like McDonald's good, NO joke. Also the Singapore noodles are really good. I didn't love the veggie dumpling, so I would skip those. Also another thing I love is that they are SO fast with their delivery, like legit 30 Mins before expected delivery time and they never mess up orders, one more reason why they will always be my go to delivery place read more

Great Chinese food. They have a drive-thru, which is super convenient. We've had the spicy and tangy chicken, Mongolian beef, general tsos chicken, fried dumplings, and combination lo neon. It was all good. We never had problems with incomplete orders. read more

Other than it's close to my place and it looks clean from the outside, this place is not good at all. Portion is small considering the price, probably the smallest portion I've seen in the area for Chinese takeout delivery (the box is split into two smaller compartment, one side rice and one side meat). I ordered the vegetable pad thai, lemon garlic wings, and honeydew bubble tea using their delivery service. The wings were soggy and had fibers sticking out which looked like the wings hadn't been cleaned properly prior to cooking. SO GROSS. I saw the little hairs sticking out and promptly threw them away. The pad thai was soggy and swimming in a watery sauce, and while the smoothie part of my bubble tea was delicious, the boba were hard as a rock. The delivery guy was very friendly and polite, but showed up almost an hour after I placed my order. This is my third (and last) time trying this place. Eat elsewhere! read more

Came in on Black Friday and it was empty. No long lines or crowded. We were the only customers. Staff is not as friendly as we would expect someone to be being in the restaurant industry. Food, it was very average and "okay." My husband ordered the orange chicken and it was very average. He ordered the fried rice with it and it was very sticky. I ordered the red curry (why I ordered red curry I do not know because I should have really ordered that at a Thai restaurant) so it was a plain D- :( not for my tasting. Will we be back? I ordered very close to their closing time, and the delivery guy was as polite as could be. This was my 2nd time ordering. As the first order was very good quality and exactly what I ordered we decided to give it another go! Not disappointed! Everything was fresh great tasting and exactly what I asked for. Ate lunch there on a Saturday (3/7) and it was great. I had the General Tso Chicken and my wife had the Basil Chicken. The Hot & Sour Soup was really good, had just the right amount of heat. I had the Pork Egg Roll and it was really tasty, the curst was crusty and the filling was great. The General Tso Chicken was just right, the breading was thin enough to let you taste chicken and the sauce was a perfect complement to it. My wife's Basil Chicken had just the right subtle flavoring of basil to make the chicken come alive. We ate there and the service was second to none. The place was immaculate and we appreciated it. Do yourself a favor and give them a try; it won't be the last time that you eat there. read more

I ordered through grub hub and they came within an hour, however nothing I requested was in the bag, including chopsticks, but an empty fortune cookie bag. Before I could even set my food down the delivery driver started talking about a tip and said if I don't give him cash, he'll put a 20% tip on my credit card. The walnut shrimp was doused in a sauce that tasted like pure mayonnaise. The creme puffs were flavorless and tasted store bought. We have ordered from this location twice now. Both times we got the Mongolian Beef and Scallion Pancake. I had to ask them to put the pancake in a non-styrofoam container since it was so hot it melted the styrofoam and made the pancake unedible. The Mongolian Beef was good and even tasted good re-heated which usually is not the case. I've also tried the Kung Pao Chicken which was ok just somewhat bland, but I would not order again. We also tried the sweet and sour pork which was pretty good. We will definitely use this place as our Chinese food take-out option. I was super excited to see a Chinese American place near the house. I told myself I would try it once it opens. So I looked on Yelp, scrolled down the menu, and saw they had Walnut Shrimp on their lunch menu. I thought, "Sweet!" You never ever see that on a lunch menu. So I had high hopes. Ordered that as well as the staple Orange beef. Guess they don't have an option for steamed rice. Oh, and side of scallion pancakes. I ordered the food early and had it delivered to my house, but I didn't get a chance to eat it until I got home a few hours later. Scallion pancakes just look like some that came out of the package that I would buy from time to time. I thought there would be a dipping sauce that came with it at least. Nope. They did give picante sauce...which is totally bizarre. Anyhow, orange beef tasted just ok. I've had better. Walnut shrimp...I think it was a little overbearing on the sauce for me. It was just a little too much and a little too thick. Had a coconut taste to it. Overall, it's a nice option to have when I don't want to leave the house. Free delivery over $15. We ordered cashew chicken, happy family, and crab puffs. The food lacked flavor and the crab puffs were not that great. They were huge but unfortunately did not have a good flavor. The hot and sour soup was good but the won ton soup was not. The only thing that tasted great was the can of Coke! This place has by far the worst Chinese food I've had. I've never written a yelp review before but this place is so bad I felt I was obligated to warn me fellows in Katy not to even give it a try. Here are the two dishes that I ordered (for to-go): Shrimps with Lobster Sauce - first thing first this is actually some type of soup. And I smelled MSG right away once I remove the cap of the bowl, and the bowl was an arm length away from me! Now if your body can take MSG this dish might taste okay to you (because the mount of MSG gives it a strong flavor). I can't, and it is probably my fault to assume that no restaurant puts such heavy MSG anymore and not to ask first when I ordered. But the next dish, the spicy crispy shrimp, almost killed my kidneys - it was very very very salty. I felt like I was chewing salt and at one point I had to spit out the shrimp that I just put into my mouth because I I felt like i was having a spoon of salt, or actually two spoons. If I could give them zero star I would have done so. Try this place at your own risk. read more
