My mother and I recently discovered this place. We ordered from here about 5 times, and each time was good. Yesterday we ordered ribs, egg rolls, shrimp lo mein, and egg foo young combinations. Everything seemed a bit dry, as if it were overcooked or not fresh. We both ended up getting stomach cramps, gas, and trips to the bathroom. The food gave us mild food poisoning. We won't be back, and I'll have to report this to the Office of Food Protection. read more

Asian Chopsticks is now just a takeout joint dispensing primarily Chinese American fare to the masses in lower Bucks County. There are two tables in the house, but they don't turn the heat on in the shop on cold days, so the message of inhospitality is evident. The staff behind the plexiglass are bundled up, too. So order, wait, pay and go, is the true order of business. I only go with basics at a new place for me like this. After all, I might get lucky and have hit on a kitchen that can really cook despite the apparent slovenliness of the operation, but in all likelihood this is a poor to middling' wok room that is in it to survive and save enough dough to maybe launch a second store somewhere. So, I ordered roast pork egg foo young and wonton soup to size up the potential. The soup was about average with a few more wontons than expected, and the three pancakes were also in the middle of the pack, although the brown sauce was better than most (just made, not lumpy and decent flavor). Service through the glass was cordial but remote, with no effort at interaction. Bottom line - You could do worse that Asian Chopsticks, but unless you are otherwise in the area, it doesn't pay to go out of your way to buy your Chinese victuals here. My friend and I ordered from here and each got our own Lo Mein (chicken and beef), and we split Happy Family, Won Ton Soup, and Egg Rolls. The egg rolls were pretty good, Won Ton was good (also there seemed to be more than some other places), and Happy Family was fine but wasn't as flavorful as expected. The Lo Meins, however, were kinda bland and had very little meat. The lack of meat can't be due to COVID since the Happy Family had plenty of it so perhaps it was a mistake. The service was great, though. Delivery was quick so the food was hot. Prices are fair. We even got 2 extra egg rolls, which was cool because I'm poor and love good egg rolls. read more

I ordered last night after a long day of shopping. There really isn't a great Chinese restaurant in this area. I've never had Asian chopsticks so I decided to give it a shot. The guy on the phone was nice. Delivery was super fast, I think less than 20 minutes. I ordered spicy sesame chicken. The chicken was good, wasn't the typical fries junk. It was breast of chicken in a spicy sauce. I enjoyed it. We also ordered a pint of fried rice. The rice was flavorful and packed with veggies. The egg roll was just okay, a bit greasy. Typically if I want to eat Chinese food around the area I go to Chinatown; however, for living nearby this place can do. Parents were in town and wanted to stay around the area so we went here and ordered a couple different dishes. For 3 people we ordered 3 dishes and total came around $35 (dinner time). I also really like that they have a healthy menu option with lots of things to pick from. This is the first Yelp review I have ever written, but I feel it is my duty as an American to sing the praises of this fine establishment. My family ordered $75 of food this evening (all pretty traditional... Sesame chicken, general tso, egg rolls, won ton, fried rice). This was, no lie, the best Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. It was all perfectly cooked and so fresh. It is what every Chinese meal should be. We ordered delivery and as expected, the food came to us very quickly. The standout star of the evening was definitely the crispy chicken with salted pepper. Basically chicken nuggets fried with peppers and salted. It was perfect. This is truly take-out only. With that said it is very good take-out. The dumplings, pork steamed were definitely above average. I rarely eat the. And my husband was surprised I had a second one. My order of Kung Pao Beef was full of vegetables. Much more varied vegetables than place I have dined. Next time I need to order it spicy. The hot and sour soup is very good. We love Asian Chopsticks and it is our "go-to" Chinese food delivery. Easily the most consistent place in the Northeast. I particularly enjoy their Curry Shrimp and Onions and they also make a mean Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Been ordering from this place for a couple of months. Food is decent. On 8/29 (17, I placed an order for delivery. I was told it would take about 35 mins. After waiting an hour, I called inquiring about my order. I was told the driver had my order and was on its way to my home. After an hour and a half, I called again to cancel the order. The person on the phone offered no apology and could care less. I asked him to reverse the credit card charges. He claims he doesn't know how to do it, but claimed his manager will. When I asked him what the issue was, he mumbled a new lame excuse, but offered no apology. He claims the driver just left with my order, this time, 15 mins ago. This is just another bad news business that takes no pride in customer loyalty or satisfaction. It doesn't matter to them whether an order is delivered promptly or, in my case, NOT at all. Long time customer here and have been going to the Asian Chopsticks for years, food quality ranges from very good to fair depending on who is in the back cooking that day. Today I stopped in needing seven lunch specials after calling several times for delivery but only getting a busy signal each attempt and a young Asian male refused my order saying it was 3:17PM and the lunch specials stop at 3:00PM. Well my phone gave a time of 3:04 and the TV in the waiting room said it was 3:05 but what the hell your going to refuse a $75.00 order over a few minutes even tho the business phones where tied up for what ever reason. So I left and drove a few blocks to another Chinese shop who gladly accepted my order and turned out some really nice lunches but I still cant get over the lack of consideration to a long time customer, Shame. read more
