Asian Chopsticks is now just a takeout joint dispensing primarily Chinese American fare to the masses in lower Bucks County. There are two tables in the house, but they don't turn the heat on in the shop on cold days, so the message of inhospitality is evident. The staff behind the plexiglass are bundled up, too. So order, wait, pay and go, is the true order of business. I only go with basics at a new place for me like this. After all, I might get lucky and have hit on a kitchen that can really cook despite the apparent slovenliness of the operation, but in all likelihood this is a poor to middling' wok room that is in it to survive and save enough dough to maybe launch a second store somewhere. So, I ordered roast pork egg foo young and wonton soup to size up the potential. The soup was about average with a few more wontons than expected, and the three pancakes were also in the middle of the pack, although the brown sauce was better than most (just made, not lumpy and decent flavor). Service through the glass was cordial but remote, with no effort at interaction. Bottom line - You could do worse that Asian Chopsticks, but unless you are otherwise in the area, it doesn't pay to go out of your way to buy your Chinese victuals here. There are far better choices not very far away.

I ordered last night after a long day of shopping. There really isn't a great Chinese restaurant in this area. I've never had Asian chopsticks so I decided to give it a shot. The guy on the phone was nice. Delivery was super fast, I think less than 20 minutes. I ordered spicy sesame chicken. The chicken was good, wasn't the typical fries junk. It was breast of chicken in a spicy sauce. I enjoyed it. We also ordered a pint of fried rice. The rice was flavorful and packed with veggies. The egg roll was just okay, a bit greasy. Overall this was the Chinese I've had around here. I would be willing to try again.

Several people complimented the pork dumplings, and said they were good here. I am very picky, so i wanna know if the dough is thicker or thin? And is the pork more sweet or savory, or sorta in-between?

The skin is thin, while the taste is in between. Not too sweet and not too savory.

Atlantic Ave near the train tracks in Audubon. Their menu drew me in as they offer a wide selection of soups by the day as well as sandwiches, wraps, grilled cheese, burgers and hot dogs. Just think cozy comfort food. The inside has ample seating if you plan to dine in and a small counter in the rear to order out. I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was patient with me as I looked over the menu. I decided on a grilled cheese and green split pea soup. It was hard to decide because there were so many yummy looking choices. Service was quick and efficient. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant. The grilled cheese was perfect! So delicious! The split pea soup w/ homemade croutons and tiny bits of ham throughout sure hit the spot on this cold winter day. The place was very clean and cozy and there was a bit of a lunch rush so they definitely have a good reputation. Would love to see them expand their footprint. We could use more places that offer simple comfort food at affordable prices in South Jersey. Can't wait to return to try another one of their soups...and a grilled cheese. ***Oh! The homemade DanDan noodles were our favorite, which are served with ground pork in a spicy peanut sauce. We also got the three cup chicken which was so good, with a sweet, licorice-like glaze. We had the ginger and scallion dish and was not our favorite, as the chicken had a unique consistency and was quite limp. Overall, good service and a relaxing ambiance in a bustling city.

ATMOSPHERE: Intimate spot with a small loft, soft music and big windows for people watching. Takeout and deliveries seemed to be the majority of the business. RESERVATIONS: Not needed on this particular Monday night. PARKING: Street or garage. MENU: Sichuan & Taiwanese dishes. No dim sum. BEVERAGE: Lychee Martini Perfectly chilled and balanced, complete with a whole lychee garnish. FOOD: Dan Dan Noodles We got it plain but proteins were available. Thicker noodles coated in a thick peanut-flavored sauce with a little kick of heat. Very good but I'd definitely add either chicken or tofu to break up the carbs. Dry Pot Dish Served in a steel wok, we opted for chicken which was super tender. Very flavorful dish but it wasn't presented sizzling as the menu stated. Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup If you're a ramen fan and want something different, I think you'll love this as much as I did. A generous amount of thick noodles (available hand-ripped flat noodles are a $1 option), chunky slices of tender and fatty beef swimming in a savory and slightly sour dark-hued broth. Forgot to nix the cilantro but it wasn't overly loaded. Total yum. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and friendly. Male server was knowledgeable but there was no follow up. OVERALL: A very enjoyable alternative to traditional Asian cuisine.

The restaurant itself is pretty small, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Thankfully, we came right when they opened and it wasn't crowded, but I can definitely see it filling up quickly, especially on weekends. We came specifically for happy hour and were told you can only order from that menu if you're sitting at the bar. It was a little inconvenient for a group since there were open tables available, but it wasn't a huge issue. Their happy hour menu isn't the biggest, but it still has a good selection of staple food and drink options. I started with the red sangria, which was really good. The wine was smooth, and the apples added a nice sweetness. The papas fritas were pretty standard but came with a generous portion size. The artichoke + mushroom arancini were decent -- I've definitely had better, but they were still enjoyable. The whipped ricotta was easily the star of the show. The bread was perfectly crispy, and the ricotta paired with the sauce was so delicious that I almost wanted to order a few more servings of just that dish. The Barbuzzo burger was okay, but nothing too memorable. It wasn't very big or unique, just a simple burger with an aioli spread. Overall, I'd maybe come back for happy hour if I'm just with one other person since the bar seating requirement makes it harder for groups. I'd mainly come back for the whipped ricotta and sangria, but I definitely still want to try their full dinner menu since I've heard great things about their food.
