We were taking a scenic Sunday drive up the coast and decided to head to the Asian Fusion Buffet for dinner. It was Father's Day and many of the other restaurants in the area had a wait time and we needed to start heading back soon. The Asian Fusion Buffet is located in the Village Shoppes shopping center in Royal Palm Beach. It is quite large with several rooms to sit in so waiting and getting food quickly was not a problem. They have a cute fountain with fish when you walk in and the rest of the restaurant was clean and well maintained. This all you can eat Asian Buffet may be a little smaller in food offerings than others I have previously visited but they still hit all of the high notes of what you would expect to find. They had a good selection of sushi, hibachi, cold salads, shrimp, and mussels, soup, hot fried food, roast meat, hot traditional dishes with vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, and seafood, rice, noodles, and desserts that included fresh and canned fruit, pudding, jello, palmiers, napoleon's, cream puffs, chocolate mousse cake, ice cream, and a chocolate dip fountain. I particularly enjoyed the large peel and eat shrimp, sushi, green beans, and green tea ice cream. While we ate servers came around on a regular basis to remove dirty plates. Dinner for two adults was around $40.00 We were able to eat quickly and each find things we liked. I was definitely full by the time I left. You can't ask much more from an Asian Buffet. read more

Another time that I couldn't fight it and ended up here having lunch. Asian buffets are my guilty pleasure and while sometimes I feel bad after, this one did not. With a good selection of sushi, protein and the hibachi, I left feeling satisfied and not guilty at all. Many fresh options and all of it well stocked, with the buffet being kept tidy the entire hour I was here. My waitress cleared dirty plates and kept my water glass refilled. Went here with three coworkers. We searched for a good Asian buffet, and this had the highest rating. Wow, was the rating wrong, it needs to be MUCH higher! This is one of the best buffets I've eaten at. They had a hibachi/Mongolian style grill, fresh raw oysters, sushi, rolls, soups, great salads, and a lot of choices of desserts and ice cream flavors. The service was excellent, my drink was never empty, silverware was replaced, drink glasses never got more than half empty. Will definitely visit again when I'm in town. read more

It's an affordable sushi buffet with a decent amount of options. Keep your expectations low and it's great. The lady at the front is friendly and always willing to help. The food is decent to good. As far as Chinese buffets go, this was above average. The food was plentiful and tasty, although some of it I discovered, once it was on my plate, was cold. The flavors were good, but I'm not a fan of cold pepper steak or cold chicken with broccoli. The place is pretty large and they have a small koi pond in front. One tacky thing that hit me was upon walking in, they have a large table with "kitschy" Chinese statues and cat things for sale. Let's be real, we came to eat, not to go shopping for trinkets. The waitress's were friendly and attentive. Clearing the plates regularly. All in all it was a decent meal and I'd eat there again. Want to give everyone a heads up..My husband went for lunch today with his friend to Asian Fusion buffet on Southern and 441. He witnessed an employee clearing off a table of dirty dishes and glasses. The glasses still had some beverage left in them and the employee proceeded to empty the glasses back into the pitcher it came from. She then proceeded to refill patrons drinks with the iced tea. My husband made a formal complaint with the DBPR. The Health Department will not take complaints unless you are sick. Think twice if you want to patron this place!! read more

Had lunch here this weekend. There's an abundant assortment of rolls, a hibachi bar to select whatever you want cooked and a huge assortment of egg rolls, chicken satay, and many Asian selections. Fresh peal and eat shrimp and mussels had to be the best/freshest choice. This isn't a made to order sushi bar so the sushi is just ok. But hey, it's a buffet. Let me say I've heard wonderful things about this restaurant! I stopped by to see for myself. In the entrance to the restaurant they have a table with hand sanitizer and plastic gloves you are required to put on. You are required to wear a mask to enter. It is a buffet with a large variety of items that all looked very fresh and delicious! They are in small buffet dishes so the food isn't sitting out very long. They replenish as needed. From fresh fruit to sushi, shrimp, pork roast, Hibachi steak and beautiful desserts! All the food looked fresh! The pricing is very reasonable offering discounts for seniors... We went at lunchtime this buffet was just OK. There were some choices that were pretty mediocre that I would go back maybe and eat and there was a lot of food that wasn't up to standards. I would say that the sushi chefs do a great job. They don't really supply the blue crab very much and they don't do snow crab or oysters anymore. The crab ragoons were kind of hit or miss sometimes mushy, sometimes OK. The boiled shrimp are good. I didn't care for the hot and sour soup but my husband liked the wonton soup because they serve the wontons separate. The fried dumplings had a really weird herb in them that I couldn't pinpoint and didn't care for maybe too much ginger. All together this is the cheapest Buffet in the area but not the best. read more

I took the family as my son wanted a sushi buffet. Read some reviews and went. I don't usually write reviews but this was annoying. When you go to pick up a piece of sushi you have to reach very far and even with my long arms my face was almost pressed on the glass. Very few types of rolls and the sushi part was just bad. The carpet was dirty and the booths had different colors of red. Just looked old and dated. Tried the crab Ragoon and it seems raw. Just terrible waste of money. read more

We were disappointed, we 're there as soon as they open at 11 am, the food was only 1/4 of the tray and it seems leftover from last night, food is not hot, squid were tough, fried chix wings were dry and cold. Thye have food station where you can let the guy cook for you noodle station with meat and vegies, it took a while before the food was cooked, I just one to suggest make it like noddle station . The only good one and frsh is the sushi station. The dessert station is ok, jelly is good but salad were tasteless. So many things to improve. iT IS GOOD TO GO INSIDE WITH THE TRAY'S FULL OF FOOD.Chocolate fondue is and ice cream station is close. Tea station has a lot of choices. No leg crab or fresh shrimp as commercialized. Price is okey.Hope next time we go there they do improvements already regarding the food. read more

I wanted to like this place. I really did. I was saddened when COVID took its toll on local restaurants, even shuttering the windows on some. Tokyo Bay Buffet was noteworthy in my mind. On a recent Saturday evening, my wife and I decided to give Asian Fusion Buffet a try, despite some lackluster reviews. How cool it would be to find a superior Asian restaurant close to home - a buffet, nonetheless? Well, it was not to be. We were encouraged by the somewhat full parking lot, but should have left immediately upon entering, once we were somewhat gruffly "greeted" in a rather drab, rundown entry way, by the host, whom I hope was not the owner, given his dour visage and morose demeanor. We were seated promptly, amidst the rather rag-tag looking crowd, many of whom appeared to be stuffing themselves as though they were partaking in their last meal before going into a winter hibernation. Despite the venue being in dire need of a facelift / serious renovation, our initial survey of the buffet was satisfactory: the appearance of fresh seafood, (some in the raw), a reasonable yet tepid and unimpressive selection of maki sushi rolls and various and sundry typical Chinese buffet selections. It seemed clean enough, and given the apparently ravenous appetites of the other patrons, one could only assume that everything was fresh, given the almost rhythmic and frequent replenishment of the steaming chafing platters. Sadly, much of the food was either tasteless or flat out BAD. Despite giving various things the benefit of the doubt and trying them, we were met by disappointment after disappointment. The only thing that was reasonably good in my opinion was the quality of the oysters on the half shell. (But given the state of affairs in general, I was cautious about taking what I perceived as undue risk in over indulging in these). We tried to minimize wasting food by keeping our sampling sizes to fork fulls. Even so, we were compelled to leave much of our food on our plates without finishing it. I know it must be a challenge to operate a restaurant - much less a buffet - in these difficult times. Having said that, however, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Afterwards that evening, I felt physically ill, which I can only ascribe to the food I ate. Sadly, Asian Fusion for me, is a definite NO GO. Unpleasant in nearly every way, and potentially even hazardous to ones health, I must caution people to stay away from this place. read more

A wide assortment of veggies (my favorite), sushi, seafood and desert items. The food was tasty and very hot! 3rd time here. Go to the yelp site get the 10% coupon. This is a very clean Asian buffet in a big strip mall on Southern Boulevard and State Road 7. I have had no problems here. I cannot emphasize how clean this place is. All the food that they serve here is well labeled. There is one section that is hibachi and they will cook it personally for you. On the other hand I found the food this time was ho-hum. They have a chocolate fountain but no strawberries. The steak was fatty. I'm not a finicky eater. I stopped here on the way to visit family at West Palm Beach. I actually quite enjoyed it. The prices are very very fair. Each person was $8 and the kids ate free. For what you pay for, the food is good. It's nothing out of the ordinary, just good. They do have a large variety of different foods and sushi and everything is clean and labeled. Also, a hibachi station was provided where you can ask someone to personalize your hibachi plate. They even have chicken nuggets, fries, and other kid-friendly foods. They had a chocolate fountain but I was sad to see that there were no strawberries or fruits to go with it! However, the dessert overall was superb. The staff was helpful and friendly and the bathrooms were clean. I would most likely visit again since it was quite cheap and I honestly had a good time. read more

I went here for the first time today and didnt like it at all. When you enter, there is a fountain (not on) and the smell of musty carpet. Salad bar is limited, only one scoop for 8 types of ice creams, no cones, and sushi wasn't labeled (I can't eat escolar). The whole place seemed quite dated. The price is affordable ($8.99). I think they could increase the price and spend some money on updating the place. Food was just ok; I didnt have very much. On the other hand, my nephew (age 20, 250 lbs) liked it a lot. He got a hibachi made with mixed steak and shrimp and then ate a plate of lo mein followed by dessert. Service was good. I am giving 1 star for service and 1 star for value. Personally I like to pay more and go to a fancier buffet, but if you are on a budget, this could be a good choice. read more
