Recently started working in the area and few coworkers told me this was the best Chinese food spot around and they weren't wrong. Since I moved to FL, Chinese food is such a letdown for the most part. I have found a very few solid spots over my 13-year stay but can only count them on 1 hand. However, this is one I can add to the hand. Before I made this review, I wanted to try a few different things from there and everything was very good. Their chicken and beef Teriyaki are moist and meaty vs other places being dry and flat. One of my favorite dishes is Singapore Noodles and theirs is extremely good. Give you a ton as well. Their General Tso's chicken has minimal breading vs other places where its more breading than chicken. Fried rice is good too. One of the best to-go eggrolls I've had down here. Mediocre Chinese food at best. I ordered the bourbon chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken was a little tough. The sauce wasn't that flavorful and the rice was very bland. Very good food, I had General Tso's chicken , the portions are good and not overly salty like most places. When I think of Chinese Take Out, this is the place! The dishes here are always fresh. The people are friendly. I am not sure why other take out places seem to have oily / greasy food. The meals here never have the greasy taste or feel. Fried rice is terrific and light. I prefer the house mix, but probably because I am greedy. I had the Four Seasons, and it was very good and plenty of meat not filler. My son got the chicken wings, which surprised me somewhat, but they very large and tasty. I'm back home visiting my godparents again and we ordered take out from here. First let me say, the food was very fresh and delicious. I got the Mongolian beef and a pint of hot and sour soup and I have to say, the Mongolian beef was one of the best I've have thus far. The seasonings were a bit different from what I'm used to, there was a hint of sweetness with some heat as opposed to all heat. It could've used more green onions in relation to white onions but overall the taste was great! I ordered brown rice to go with it and that balanced the flavors really well. I've given them 4 stars because the hot and sour soup was quite distasteful. Unfortunately, these store front take out joints don't put in the time to authenticate this soup the way it should be done. I rolled the dice expecting to be surprised and sadly I was not. I bought a large order of boneless spare ribs at China Taste on Friday March 26th. When I arrived home and opened my package hoping for a delicious meal, what I encountered was skinny strips of what might have been beef at one time many years ago but not last night. It was as tough to chew as it was tough to look at. I ate roughly 7 pieces and had to spit most of it out. Today I returned to the same restaurant. I politely asked the lady at the order counter if she would please replace the order. I told her I didn't want to cause a problem and I didn't want free food - just good food. She started screaming at me that if I did not want the ribs hard I should have told her not to make them hard. I asked her again if she would please replace the order with better food and she told me to get out and never come back. I threw the so-called-ribs on the floor and told her I would never return. Just had the WORST Chinese food I've ever had my 62 years of living and I lived in Boston and New York and visit Chicago so I know good Chinese food. Had gray spareribs with no barbecue sauce and they were surprised that I even question why there wasn't any sauce on the ribs. Had the green beans with chicken the taste WAS chemically fresh green beans were soggy and the chicken look like it was pressed out of a toothpaste tube. I decided to give this restaurant another try. I ordered the exact same thing that I had ordered before, Pork Lo Mein with fried rice, an egg roll, and Wonton soup. The lo mein tasted great, and was at the perfect temperature. The egg roll.was fantastic! Perfect temperature and flavor. The Wonton soup tasted great and was at a great temperature. I have ordered Chinese food for over 45 years! This is probably the worst Chinese food I ever had!!!!!! I ordered shrimp egg foo young, and other things for my son, and my husband. Waited over two hours for it! I was starving, and could not wait to get home to eat! So the egg foo young usually comes with white rice, did they put it in the order????? NO they did not!!!!!! The egg foo young was so bland I had to put salt on it to give it some flavor!!!!!! Also the brown sauce that comes with it was so light in color I was not sure that they put in the right sauce!! We went there today for take out lunch and loved the sesame chicken. The flavor was good and it wasn't over sauced like many Chinese restaurants. The lunch menu has many options and includes a soda or soup and pork fried rice or white rice. We each got sodas and pork fried rice which was also very good. Do NOT eat here. I got severely sick a few hours after eating dinner. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and what they called dumplings. These were not dumplings.
