Ordered Asian Garden tonight because we thought it cool that they had a mix of Asian- one of us likes Indian the other doesn't but likes Chinese. We ordered hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon, Chicken Tiki Masala, and kung pao chicken. The bill was a whopping 85$!! And... we didn't like anything. I'm sorry to say the soup was the worst we ever had. I eat tiki masala all the time and this was not like any I've ever had - tasted more like butter chicken which I like as well but I wasn't a huge fan for this 27$ dish- almost double the cost than what I pay back home. My mom go king pao chicken with just the peanuts and celery. However we got a call from Door Dash that they didn't have any celery!! I mean... really...??? Celery is one of the mainstays of Chinese food! She went ahead and got it with broccoli but you could really tell the celery was missing... another 27 meal not eaten. We also got the crab Rangoon because that's a fav of ours but, sadly that wasn't all that great either. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. The portion size was on the small side, and I was surprised to receive only about half a container of rice. The dishes we had were solid and well priced. We were both vegan and they had a lot of options. We did the General Tso's tofu from the Chinese side of the menu and daal from the Indian side of the menu. The tofu was a great texture (crispy on the outside and soft inside) with plenty of broccoli. The daal was pleasantly spicy. The service was friendly and accommodating. The ambience was casual and you have to walk through the take out counter to get to the dining room, but the dining room itself is very pleasant. read more

This is the worst food I have ever ordered firs thing is that once I got back to the hotel with my order. the order was missing the fried rice form the order of chicken wings with fried rice. The wings tasted old and they were over spiced to hide the flavor and almost burned the rice was dry and had a funny smell to it. The sesame chicken had a thick sauce and most of the sesame chicken was fried batter and chewy. I had to end up trying to give it to my dog and he wouldn't eat it rather. Honestly it's kind of hard to find good vegan food in Ocean City so I am glad we tried this place. It's certainly not fancy, but it actually exceeded my expectations and I will probably go back again before we leave town. Ordered the General Tso's Tofu with extra broccoli and one of the Dal dishes. The tofu was crisp and fully enrobed in the optimal amount of sauce. Broccoli was steamed perfectly but served cold which is normal (run into this before and I was okay with but I know others might feel differently so I thought I would mention it... use your words and tell the server what you want). The Dal was well spiced- not too hot but just a little heat. I'm sure you can ask for more chili oil if that's your thing. I feel like the review are maybe a little harsh. Where can you get a hot sit-down lunch for less that $40 in this town? It's also unique that they have both Indian and Chinese cuisine with options for vegan, vegetarian, and omnivores. Menu does have a vegetarian section and the server was familiar with the various ingredients so our order was hassle free. Prepared quickly, served hot. Overall a great experience. read more

It's surprisingly good! As I walked up to the counter to place my order I didn't see any Asian people cooking in the back and the lady who took my order was European. I was expecting the food to be horrible. They also ran out of chicken wings which I figure it's something they can't really mess up. We ordered a combination friend rice, lo mein, general tso chicken, shrimp egg foo young, and egg drop soup. Everything was cooked perfectly to our liking. We had just gotten to town and were hungry, so we decided to give Asian Garden a try as we struck out with our pre-planned lunch (they closed early). This was a VERY happy accident! My mom ordered the shrimp lo mein, I ordered the pork lo mein and my husband ordered the pork mei fun (spicy). The portions were very generous and we all enjoyed our dishes. The pork dishes had lots of delicious pork and the shrimp lo mein had tons of shrimp. My husband's request for spicy was honored and it was a delicious spicy (I tried a bite). He says it's the BEST mei fun he's ever tasted. We are SO happy that we happened upon this little gem. Don't let the unassuming looks of the outside fool you... it's a great place and the service was great as well. read more

I ordered takeout so I cannot speak to the service of ambiance. I ordered their vegetable stir-fry, garlic naan bread, chicken curry and jhol chicken momos. Overall the food was great. It is on the salty side. Of the dishes we ordered, we thought the curry and naan were the best. The curry was flavorful and the naan was fluffy. Together, it was a great combo. The Jhol momo was good but with the sauce, it was a bit salty for my taste. The Indian and Nepalese cuisine definitely seem authentic and probably some of the best in Ocean City. It is on the pricier side for Asian food but compared to other food places in OC, it is probably average. They do get busy in the evenings so expect at least 30-40 minute wait time for to-go orders. I overall rate the Indian/Nepalese food 5/5. The vegetable stir-fry felt just like stir-fried vegetables with stereotypical brown sauce. I would not recommend that one. Overall 4/5. read more

The dumplings were the worst dumplings we've ever had they tasted sour and lowkey rotten. The chicken in the chicken in broccoli was tough, though the broccoli was fine. The chicken tikka masala was good and so was the naan so it might be best to stick to the Indian food at the restaurant. Sometimes, the search for Indian food can be devastating for the taste buds. The guys were craving for Indian food and this was the closest option so we headed there. The place was nice and clean and the server knew the menu, well almost. We ordered a plate of chicken momos, mutton curry and rice and a Nepalese thali. Mutton curry and rice : the quantity was way too less compared to what you get elsewhere. Also, the rice that is complimentary is basmati rice. What we got was sticky rice that you get at Chinese takeaways. The curry had absolutely no sauce so we did not know what to eat the rice with. Were they expecting us to eat just rice??? Chicken momos: they weren't even hot, the crust was dry as if they were cooked long back and just microwaved for 30 seconds or so before serving. Also , the sauce we got was not the momo sauce but the tomato chutney served with dosa in Indian restaurants. Nepalese thali: this one had the same sticky rice which was also dry. It came with daal which had 95% water and 5% daal in it. There was a chicken curry whose chicken was semi cooked. There was a potato curry that was semi cooked and some potato pickle. There was absolutely no sauce in the curries. We had to finally order a vegetable lo mein as we left most of the food we ordered. The lo mein was okiesh. Finally when we got the cheque, the mutton curry was mentioned as mutton thali and was priced $3 more than price mentioned in the menu.... I mean cmmon.. I think this is a Chinese takeaway/restaurant which is just trying to sell Indian food as well.. This was the worst Indian food we've had in US till date. read more

If you're a Chinese food lover, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. They had good service but the food was over cooked and the portions were insanely small. I was on a family trip to ocean city and at the end of the day, the whole family decided to come back to the rental location and order delivery for dinner. That was our first mistake. When the food arrived, i was so taken back about how incredibly small the dinner portions were . The portions was not enough to even feed half of my family. The rice boxes were half filled and there was only 2 of the smallest pieces of broccoli in each dinner serving. If you're going to buy food here, my suggestion is to go dine in so you can get what you like and deserve on the spot with the rightful portion. We (9 people) went in this restaurant for lunch. Located on main street at 15th street of ocean city, this is a average looking dine in restaurant. We ordered Nepali Thali, Momos and Biryani. It was a lot of food. We couldn't finish it all. Attendant was wonderful person very cheerful and helpful. Good taste, good location, good people. We have lived in OC for a couple of years now and always considered this place a take out/delivery tourist trap. Then we saw a post on a local FB page that made us decide to take a risk and give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised. First, we almost turned back at the door when we saw the sign that said "Take out only" But I stuck my head in the door to ask and was told that they did indeed have a dining area. We were lead through a door to a very nice, clean room with booths and tables. One of the things that made me hesitant to try this place is the fact that they do Chinese, Indian, and Nepalese food. That raises red flags. But, come to find out that it is 2 chefs (husband and wife?) from 2 countries (China and Nepal) each with expertise in their native cuisine. We tried an appetizer we had never heard of " MoMos" We got the hot/spicy version. Wow-terrific! We would go back just for these! The tandoor oven wasn't ready so we got another kind of Indian bread that was delicious (Parantha?) The egg roll was a good one (I brought my own duck sauce and mustard since they only have packets) The Curry Shrimp was delicious! The General Tso Shrimp was good-not Chef MrB Rice House sophisticated, but a nice version. Service was terrific-Diane was informative, helpful and friendly...food came out quickly, hot and fresh. The guys and I were driving along the main strip when we saw Asian garden. Since we had been craving Chinese, we decided to stop in. They do both take out and dine in; the dining room is pretty average with a diner type set up and various Asian décor. I personally was not impressed with my food. The fried rice was bland while the chicken and broccoli was just okay. The guys scarfed down their general tso's chicken and Indian dishes so take it for what it's worth. Let me start by saying that this restaurant should actually be a listed as a landmark. It was as such for me as I used to come here when I worked in Ocean city in the summers in the early 2000's as a student and craved home-cooked food and authentic food among all the touristy food in ocean city. The owner always greeted us nicely and made us feel at home and checked on us. We always felt taken care of, almost like a older brother or Uncle would. It used to be a much smaller place. I have come here every time I come to ocean city and brought friends and they have always loved the authentic taste as well as the warm, humble and welcoming man who owned this place. Even after years they remember this restaurant with nostalgia. Nepalese food here is no-fuss but delicious food for the soul. The Indian food is also very homely and yummy. To be honest I have not tried the Chinese food here, but whatever I have is very good. Over the years, this place has been a sanctuary to many students with delicious food. I would highly recommend Jhol Momo, Goat Biryani, Chicken Chilli and Nepali Thali and these are the best. read more
