    Rice & Chicken with Broccoli
    Angela C.

I ordered the Chicken & Broccoli. I didn't feel so good afterwards. I probably will not be back here again.

    Sesame beef
    Patricia K.

Ordered food online for take out and it was ready when we got there. Food is good for the price. Sesame beef is a little slimy. Egg rolls have a great amount of shrimp but could use something more than cabbage inside. Husband said his steamed dumplings were really good. Sweet and sour chicken is pretty good too!

This is their Crispy Beef. Nothing crispy about it.

Very good Chinese food for takeout. Great staff. It is located next to Fast Eddies. The sweet and sour chicken and fried rice is very good.

I've been eating here for 2 decades now. From when we vacationed at the grandparents place, to when we built our home down the road. I've been coming here for a long time and have eaten probably 50 meals or so from this place. Not 1 of them was bad or had an issue that bothered me. Maybe a greasy egg roll or two out of 100, but that happens on busy nights when the fryer is getting worked hard and can't hold temp or gets over crowded. It happens to all places. That being said, the egg rolls are really good! Tons of fresh veggies and usually fried to a perfect golden brown with very little residual grease left behind. The mixed combo platters are always very fresh and a good portion. From the chicken and mixed veggies, Gen tso, Hunan chicken, noodle dishes, it's all typically very good food. This place doesn't overly salt their food. They don't cover up things by adding MSG or sodium. Most dishes are simple and fresh, left for the consumer to add soy sauce as needed. I don't usually need anything unless a dab or two on my white rice when I choose that over my go to pork fried. This is fresh, quality ingredients done right.

We ordered hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon, Chicken Tiki Masala, and kung pao chicken. The bill was a whopping 85$!! And... we didn't like anything. I'm sorry to say the soup was the worst we ever had. I eat tiki masala all the time and this was not like any I've ever had - tasted more like butter chicken which I like as well but I wasn't a huge fan for this 27$ dish- almost double the cost than what I pay back home. My mom go king pao chicken with just the peanuts and celery. However we got a call from Door Dash that they didn't have any celery!! I mean... really...??? Celery is one of the mainstays of Chinese food! She went ahead and got it with broccoli but you could really tell the celery was missing... another 27 meal not eaten. We also got the crab Rangoon because that's a fav of ours but, sadly that wasn't all that great either. She prefers fried rice to steam for which in paid extra- she had a couple of bites and threw that away too... and since we've been not feeling very well... almost 100$ one the trash tonight- literally...

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. The portion size was on the small side, and I was surprised to receive only about half a container of rice. Unacceptable, and plus, it doesn't help when the kid up front just says it's not ready yet. Of course it's not ready yet. Now we just finished eating all the food. One word: Horrible. We ordered a lot: Kung pow chicken, General Tso's chicken, Mooshi pork, curry beef, beef lo mein, pepper beef, combo fried rice, orange chicken, beef broccoli. Everything was terrible. They had all the time in the world to make all of our dishes decent but they did not. The orange chicken and General Tso chicken were absolutely hard. It seemed like they use premade or pre-cut piece of chicken because they're all the same shape and the texture was hard as a rock. The curry beef was basically as if you just got the golden curry packs from an Asian store, but watered it down so much. The lo mein was very mushy and the only thing that was redeemable about it was the large amount of beef that they did put in. However, it's sad how the beef and broccoli and the pepper beef hardly had any beef. To top it off what made it worse was how the combination fried rice did not have any color. It was just a bland thing with barely any type of umami in it. Plus the rice just felt like it was regular hard-boiled rice instead of fluffy rice that was properly stir-fried. If you're traveling from out of town for vacation here and are craving Chinese food, this is not the place. You will not be getting good quality Chinese food. This is worse than even Panda Express and if you can get better, Chinese takeout at Panda Express than a local joint here, then what's the point of going to the local joint the first place.

There's a good variety in the cocktail/beer/wine menu too. My husband and I got the salt pepper shrimp, which came with peppers and onions. It was butterflied and breaded super well, and was fresh and crispy! It also had a good balance of spice and salt. The beef in the lo mein was so tender and juicy. I feel like sometimes other places give the tiniest thin slices, but this is almost like small pieces of steak. It's a great portion for 2-4 people depending on how many items you order. The pork belly bowl was also outstanding. It was on a bed a rice that soaked a ton of the flavor. It came with zucchini and bok choy, which was a great fresh flavor to balance the belly. We made a last minute reservation and were seated super quickly. The service was so friendly from our server who was an owner and the bartender too. The food came out quick and hot, we were always checked on (but not hovered over). It was amazing to see how many regulars seemed to be there and familiar with the owners and workers too! Highly recommend! So good!!!
