This is hands down the number one Chinese place. The orange chicken is the most flavorful and natural tasting, none of that fake stuff. The chicken is so fresh and all white meat. The wonton soup is so good. The customer service is great and has a real family-oriented feel. It's super fast, and the food quality is always top-notch. The employees are very friendly, but the food is hit or miss. I live close by so I'm a captive audience since it's the only "Chinese" carry out in my area. If you like crispy beef, find another place because they will tell you they can make it, but they can't. Sauces are good (not great) beef & chicken are tender one time and chewy the next. The biggest disappointment for my family is the "fried rice". I've had the pleasure of enjoying award winning Asian cuisine all over the country, and one thing is consistent across the board........fried rice shouldn't be yellow, and should at least have a little soy sauce flavor. The "yellow rice w/onions" that this place tries to pass off as fried rice is awful. Other than the pieces of onion, this rice is flavorless & undercooked. If you avoid anything with fried rice, the menu is at best what I would classify as "inner city-good enough" Chinese food. It's very disappointing because it seems like with just a small amount of effort this place has the potential to be so much more. Will we order from here again? Probably. But only because in O.C. pizza, chicken, subs, & fast food are on every corner, so even a mediocre Chinese carry out is at least something different, and I'm pretty sure that's the only reason this place is still in business. read more

Ordered food online for take out and it was ready when we got there. Food is good for the price. Sesame beef is a little slimy. The food from No 1 Chinese was disgusting. The spring rolls tasted like they had been fried in old oil, and they were mushy inside. The Sesame Chicken was a little chicken in a lot of batter with a sickeningly sweet sauce poured on it and then a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The Crispy Beef was soggy - again beef in a lot of batter with an undefinable sauce. The Shrimp Fried rice had a few shrimp on top of yellow rice - no other veggies, eggs, bean sprouts, etc. The Pork LoMein was so greasy that 30 minutes after eating, my gut was totally cleansed. So hubby and I decided to give it a try. We went for a late lunch. The place was empty. We called our order in and it was ready when we arrived. I chose the chicken and broccoli. So, we're at the beach and decided we wanted to get Chinese takeout for lunch. This place was the closest but it has some pretty bad Yelp reviews, but then we realized that all the Chinese places here have bad Yelp reviews. Most the negatively was around the employees so we all got real excited to get screamed at by a Chinese woman and off we went. We walk in and the women working weren't the friendliest people around, but they weren't rude. I think they were just more direct and trying to be efficient. The food itself was cheap, hot, and tasted good. We had General tsos, sesame chicken, lo mein, chicken and broccoli, and the only complaint I have now is that I was pumped up to get yelled at and it never happened. I guess the lesson here is if you want some decent Chinese takeout, this place works. If you want to get berated by a stranger, you're gonna have look elsewhere. read more

This was our second time, getting a take out there. We ordered general Tso chicken and two shrimp rolls on the phone and I went to pick up. There was a 12 yo boy behind the clear plastic divided counter and a walky talky in his hand and asked for what you ordered? So I told him, what I had ordered and then a couple minutes later, I got the food. The shrimps rolls were so good, I took a bite and got to taste a good size of shrimp with honey mustard sauce so good.
