Let's put this in context. I'm pretty hesitant to give an Asian takeout place 5 stars, but they honestly provide some of the best chicken teriyaki I've had. The chicken is generous, not gristly, and the vegetables taste fresh. Their "white sauce" is on the sweeter side, but I really enjoy it. So in the realm of Asian takeout, this place really is as good as it gets. The atmosphere is exactly what you imagined from quick takeout. Where is the chicken? I ordered general tso chicken, and what I got was general tso batter. There was zero evidence of any meat inside the bread. I visited his Asian restaurant at around 9 PM since it is open late. I ordered a large order of steamed chicken with vegetables, and a large order of sesame chicken. The order came to about $24 before tax. The portions were very generous. This is enough food to feed a family of 4 to 6. The sesame chicken was still pretty crispy, and the flavor was great, not too greasy or soggy and a pretty iconic dish to order at chinese takeout. The steam vegetables are good as well, they came with a brown sauce on the side so that they didn't get soggy. And it is a bit of a healthier option to accompany the sesame chicken, since it is cuts of chicken along with broccoli, carrots, snow peas, ginger and other greens. I am amazed at how much food was offered for the price. The service was quick only taking about 12 minutes and the cashier was very kind and explaining the different types of chicken(I couldn't decide between General tso's, orange or sesame chicken). I will be returning here again for takeout. There is still 2 to 3 dining tables inside, if you would like to eat with a group, so that is an option, but it is a bit of a small restaurant in a strip mall. Tues night clients decided to do a contract for new Home in Hanahan and Builder Agent nice to come in on day off so all would have been doing contract at dinner time. so decided to do something nice and buy all dinner. Ordered asst combo bowls and I liked when asked instead of rice Lo Mein possible " Sure" if cost more not problem. Egg Rolls and Lumpia. combo bowl steak chicken and shrimp real veggies not load of onions. Well all was a success and happy clients and agents. Great taste, quick and inexpensive. We've tried about 6 different Chinese food spots over the last year and this is definitely the best. We had the Szechwan triple delight, General Tso's chicken, shrimp mei fun, fried dumplings, wonton soup and egg rolls. Everything had very good flavor. The portions were excellent and will be providing many leftovers. This will be our new go-to. Menu pictures are very old but close in price. My should've-been total was about $3 below what I was charged, they do have a sign that says beef prices have gone up so I think it balances well. read more

Huge portions are deceptive. The fried shrimp look large but are 90% breading and were also soggy, oily and tasteless! The shrimp fried rice, large portion but hardly any shrimp, which were baby size, so mostly rice. I'm guessing that's representative of their menu so I can't recommend. read more

For take-out Chinese, it's good. 4 Stars for that, the additional star is because the crab rangoons are awesome. It's my second time eating here, the first time I placed an order inside and had takeout, it was pretty fast maybe 8-10 minutes, just now I called ahead and it was ready when I got there about 10 minutes later. Picked up the bag and was like, this feels heavy.... So I get home and I find the cause, a container of General Tso's that weighed at least 3-4 pounds, I was like oh god, Chinese for days. Bad. Used Door Dash & estimated delivery was 29-40 min. At the 45 min mark, the driver texts me & says she's there but it will be another 10 min till food is ready. I called the restaurant & was told that my order was being boxed up with no offer to compensate for extended wait time. Fast forward to Food arriving... crab rangoon's were cold, semi soggy with almost a dough wrapper instead of a wonton wrapper. Weird. For the money that you shell out of your pocket, the food is pretty good. Don't expect a fancy restaurant but the place is clean for sure. I ordered a main course dish with shrimp and was surprised to see that there was no extra charge for that, unlike at other places. So I decided to order this last minute on a Sunday. Doordash brought me my order (no issues there, standard delivery.) Between the two of us we ordered the Hibachi Steak and Chicken, Sesame Chicken meal, and the Sugar Donuts. So now I'll make my points. For one, dollar store meat. The meats were just tasteless, and gummy. The rice was okay at best. The egg roll was clearly a frozen egg roll that was heated up. The "Sugar Donuts" almost had the same amount of sugar that you would find in a Splenda packet. Granted, the only problem with the sugar donuts was the complete lack of sugar. This place was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Not even the fried rice was good. The egg rolls tasted as if they were days old and were severely dehydrated when I bit into them. The vegetable mei fun lacked any flavor and had very few vegetables. General Tsaos chicken had extremely poor quality meat and awful flavor. Visited this place for the first time Christmas Eve. I ordered chicken fried rice with shrimp and broccoli. My food did not taste good. The chicken in the rice didn't look or taste like chicken. The sauce my broccoli and shrimp were in tasted weird, it had a bitter taste to it, and my shrimps were like jumbo shrimp which is a plus but I only had about four, and they were also overcooked. The only thing that tasted good to me was the egg roll. This was my first visit to the place and I think it will be my last.
