We were in the area and decided that we were going to try this restaurant. We were excited that it was a buffet but there was not many photos. So I made sure that I took videos of all the buffet areas. I am very happy with this place The food is great there's lots of places to sit and you can definitely have a party or a celebration here. The hibachi was quick... yes they did overcook the meats but it was still very delicious. There were lots of meat and seafood items available and I love that they had the little ice cream station. I ordered a milk for my dinner but it didn't come with refills. My husband ordered a diet Pepsi and they must have filled it about five times and they were really good about keeping his cup full. The only complaint I have is it felt like every 10 minutes somebody would drop a stack of plates and it would scare you. It scared me the first two times and after that I was just waiting for it to happen again lol. They kept the tables clean and took away the dirty plates. We will definitely come here again if we're in the area and hungry because they do have a huge selection of food. We had wanted to try this 'new' restaurant which replaced a similar style venue so today we went to sample the buffet. The cost for lunch is about $13+, and be sure to mention if you are seniors! I was eager to try the sushi but unfortunately they did not have the ones I like. Sadly, most of the food was COLD even when you could see wisps of steam rising above some of the entress. Not sure how they organized this but it proved difficult to find certain items. Some of the cases did display names above the food to let you know what it was, but others did not. Very inconsistent. The venue was clean and lots of seating space. The desserts were not as tasty as they looked but I enjoyed my chocolate pudding w/peaches and the famous almond cookies. I have visited this establishment under the previous owners for many years. This was my fist time under the new name and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a large variety of food options, everything taste good and they maintained the hibachi. My hibachi item was a bit over cooked but everything else was great and service was outstanding. The staff is very nice! I would say that the food is even better in quality than Hibachi was (the buffet that used to be here). I go here when I'm celebrating or I'm mourning a lost one. It's pure comfort food for me. There's a salad bar I guess but you don't really go to this place to be healthy. If you've been to a Chinese take out place they have a lot of those types of things there for a rather low cost, plus seafood fruit and dessert. The sushi is okay, if you come here for sushi I don't think you'll be impressed, but the orange sauce makes any sushi taste good. We like this buffet much better since the new owners took over. Staff is pleasant and food is generally ok. One drawback is that the heat isn't turned up until after the restaurant is open for business at 11 am.This means that customers coming in before 1 p.m. may need to eat in their winter coats. I've eaten here 3 times so far. First visit was disappointing, second visit was perfect, last visit was pretty average. Like most buffets it's the luck of the draw, maybe it's been sitting a while but if your lucky enough to get some fresh items it's good quality for the price. They need to do a better job labeling their items, many things have no label and some are labeled wrong. The place seems clean enough, and there are gloves for you to use when grabbing your food. I haven't tried the sushi, I'm not a fan personally, but it looked alright to me. The service is decent, my beverage was refilled quickly. Service was better when this place was under the previous ownership. They make you pay upon entry which is understandable due to the high rate of people who have left without paying in the past. But there are two registers and only one was in operation with 3 available employees, one of which was too busy on her phone to att to customers. With a line of customers that stretched out the door, one employee would process a payment, then walk the guests to their table. Then the other one would process a payment and walk the guests to their table leaving the register unattended for at least 2 minutes. Waited 20 minutes to be seated while this fiasco went on. $20 per adult with tax and drink is what this place will set you back for dinner. My husband and I frequent this almost every saturday, get there when they open at 11:00. Food has always been good, better though when the former owners owned it. This week end was Fourth of july weekend, we got there at 11:18 we had the whole place to ourselves, all the food pans were full and fresh. I went to get my favorite habachi rice and the green beans cooked in a wok? Everything was going fine until I started eating the beans, something wasn;t right all of a sudden I pulled out a long strand of black hair!! I was in shock however they don't wear hairnets or use gloves. I didn't say anything because I knew my husband would go nuts. We finished went to register to pay ( which everytime you go there never know when to pay} there was an employee standing there eating a plate of food by the register.
