I bought a Bibingka yesterday, and I was disappointed with the experience. It seems the staff don't check their merchandise to ensure it's in good condition before selling it. The food is overpriced, and some of the staff members are not friendly.

It's like a small Filipino canteen where you can dine-in (probably not this Covid season) and buy a few snack or grocery items. The old lady who gave the food was so nice and friendly, she's like a grand/mom. :) The food were good and affordable. If you're looking for Filipino dishes that's home-cooked, this is it! We had our food to-go and ate in the car. They provide styro plates, napkins and plastic spoon and forks (utensils inside a plastic so you're sure they're clean).

Love the fresh lumpias- which are huge by the way. Overall food quality is excellent. I have catered with them before and will again for future family parties. Can't beat top notch Filipino food especially out in the northwest suburbs- haven't found a place that comes close. Homemade siopao is delish as well... make sure you try both- you won't be disappointed. Grocery store is a bit lacking in size and selection, but I mainly come for the food anyways.

I loved the grilled pork belly! Super yummy!

Your typical run of the mill Filipino store. Though it seems very disorganized, it's not. Serves me for what I need.

Great carry out food as well as grocer! Love the convience to not have to drive farther to other stores with Filipino foods.

Wow, this is an updated review. It is because this is following two weeks of eating there twice and…read moreeating in the actual restaurant. Prior to this I had only done takeout or carryout. So this is located in strip mall and there is ample parking even though it is shared. I did come on a weeknight for dinner with some out-of-town friends and luckily there was no wait and no line. This was their first time here, and they absolutely love the food, and it also helps that they are born and raised in the Philippines Second time was for a random Saturday afternoon lunch and there were definitely people here already eating however luckily there were still a couple tables left over for our group. Again, it was great to order here and eat here. The staff is always super friendly, even though I haven't consistently seen someone working here. This is definitely a go to spot with authentic food. And something that stands out is their lumpia Shanghai has better flavor than the one at seafood city and has a lot more pork.

8/30/26 update: I've…read morebeen to the brick and mortar before but this is for their food truck that just so happened to be in my area. So, there are not a lot of Filipino restaurants in the Woodridge area, so I was astonished to see wave after wave of Filipinos coming out of nowhere. I don't even see that many when I go to the local Filipino restaurants or small shops lol. I think we waited about 20 mins to get to the window. We ordered the pork adobo combo, one fried siopao, and lumpia. The fried siopao is a perfect 5 out of 5. It was crispy, soft when you opened it up, and the meat was very flavorful. The lumpias were crunchy and not heavy. The pork adobo combo was a bit disappointing. Some of the meat could have been a bit more tender, I don't like chewy meat. The pancit was just mid. It wasn't as tasty as some of the other ones I've had. I would have liked it if they used garlic rice or had the option for that. Overall rating is still 4 out of 5.
