I wasn't a fan of the sushi, but my son loved it but the orange chicken and Pad Thai are the best around. Friendly service

If Thai food in Cincinnati were a prize fight, this place would win by knockout in the first round…read morewhile the rest of the restaurants are still trying to find their gloves. Chris runs the place, and if kindness were a competitive sport his family would already have Olympic gold. Chris and his kids treat customers the way you wish every business in America still did..,,like you're a neighbor, not a transaction. You walk in hungry and leave feeling like you've been adopted. Now the food. The Thai dishes are the real deal, bright, balanced, and so good you start wondering if the chef has a secret tunnel to Bangkok. But the sushi? That's where things get suspicious. The fish is so fresh and high-quality it feels like the tuna signed a waiver before arriving. Their standards are higher than most politicians claim for themselves. The result: incredible Thai food, exemplary sushi, and a family running the place with genuine warmth. In a world full of chain restaurants that feel like airport terminals with menus, Chris and his crew built something rare, food that's excellent and people who are even better. Eat here once and you'll understand why regulars keep coming back. Eat here twice and you'll start wondering if you should just rent an apartment nearby. Cincinnati is lucky to have them. And frankly, so is anyone with a fork.

Steamed vegetables tasted like they were out of a bag. Lastly, the sauce barely tasted like tamarind. Was this worth $30? Absolutely not. Seared salmon was ok. The service was great. The place felt clean and seemed liked a good hangout spot.

My husband set an alarm for 5:58am to get ready to go to the site and try to get reservations for 7pm Saturday night. However, in the couple of seconds it took him to figure out how the reservation site worked, all 8 spots for the 7pm time slot were taken. 5pm was not our preference so he got lucky to get 2 spots at 9pm. Yay. All the sashimi was very tasty and super fresh. The range of flavors varied from creamy tuna taste to some fishy sardines. My favorite, a fish I never tried before, is Jackass - very delicious. Btw it was our first Omakase experience ever, and we look forward to trying more of these places in the future. With only 8 spots per seating, I really enjoyed the intimate ambiance, of talking with the chief and hearing him explain each dish.

They are reservation only and it can be a challenge to get a reservation, so make sure you check their Instagram to figure out when they become available. We came here for a dinner reservation. For the vibes, they have 8 seats and sell out basically every single reservation. There were 2 people making the sushi and they were both super friendly and made great conversation. Each bite was carefully crafted and came with a thorough explanation of the individual parts and how they fit together. I don't think my words will do enough to explain each bite, but check out the pictures if you are interested. They have a few beers, cocktails, sake, and whiskey if you are interested in a drink to go with your meal. Overall, worth a visit for an excellent omakase experience!

Only thing is the hibachi steak was dry , flavorless and overcooked completely a waste of money …read more. everything else was great , bourbon chicken , combo lo mein ... also the eggrolls are flavorful less basically a tasteless cabbage roll... this is quite literally the only Chinese place in town, just wish there was more seasoning or flavor .. decent portions

Lunch is around $8.85 for an entree, fried or white rice and soup. Add $1 more if you want to swap for a salad or an egg roll. I wouldn't do the salad but you didn't need to be told that did you? Come on, this is a Chinese restaurant... don't get a salad! Mom loves the fried crunchy noodles on every table. You will find yourself aimlessly munching them. We got an order of the crab rangoon and that was the best thing we had for certain. My Hunan Shrimp lunch was pretty good. A nice big portion with a lot of steamed rice. I did get the egg roll, which is what you expect from a Northern Kentucky Chinese place. I wanted Hong Kong Chicken - that regional favorite - but you can't get that as a lunch special. They should re-think that. Mom had the BBQ Boneless Spare ribs and, yeah, you shouldn't do that. It looked like a big mess, wasn't easy to eat and she didn't care for it at all. I didn't try it because it didn't look like something I would enjoy. This one is a skip. Service is fast and efficient. They don't mess around here. It's a cheap lunch option and my family also likes it for takeout dinner. Worth a stop but set your expectations.
