Noodles, fried rice, pepper steak, and General Tso chicken I think
Luis C.

Well, I was extremely hungry, and since I happened to be in Lafayette decided to check out one of the Asian Buffets. I saw that this one is completely brand new, considering that its pictures were only posted a few days ago, and didn't have any yelp reviews. Also, the pictures looked like it was a clean place. It is in fact a very clean place, a family run business, and as soon as you enter you're nicely greeted and asked if you're there for the buffet. Since almost everyone there goes for that, then you say what drink you want and are provided a fork and a napkin. No knife though which I found odd, but no biggie. I browsed the selections, and since I'm not a big fan of fried buffet items, I proceeded to go for the shrimp etoufee first with white rice. It was a bit watery but still good with a nice spicy kick and a good amount of shrimp. As a matter of fact I had 2 bowls. After that, I went for some sushi that had crabmeat, avocado, and shrimp spring rolls. Very good, although the selection could be broader, but I was extremely glad there was that yummy peanut sauce. Next, I gave in and had fried rice, noodles, pepper steak, and General Tso chicken. It was also fresh and definitely not old food (as in some buffets I've been to that are terrible). By the way, there are egg rolls, miso soup, Mongolian beef, egg drop soup, orange chicken, egg foo young, fried dumplings, etc., that all looked good to be honest, but I didn't try because I'm not too much into fried stuff. Finally, I had a couple of those little mini chocolate and vanilla cakes (nothing spectacular), coconut macaroons (this is good), and swirled ice cream. The grand total in cash including soda is $16.25 and plus a tip comes out to a cool $20. Will DEFINITELY be back, and is very worth it. Cleanliness is top notch, and they're friendly.

Food was awful. Not fresh. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. The food really was not good at all. Not a lot of choices either.

Good food fresh. Mongolian grill small but simple. Wide variety and one of the less expensive buffets in town.

I decided to give them a try under the new name. It was no different. The positives is that everyone is pretty friendly and the place is clean and orderly. I will say that both times i went I tried the buffet so maybe the food is tastier from the menu. I tried several different items on the buffet and just found that it really lacked flavor. The best item was the fresh spring rolls but I was disappointed that they don't have that good peanut butter sauce to go with them. Instead, they offer what seems to be a sweet & sour sauce from a jar. The noodles were dry and bland. Both of the curry sauces were watery and didn't have much flavor at all. The meats (chicken & beef) are the typical Chinese buffet style meats instead of pieces of chicken that look like chicken. The cucumber soup and the coconut soup are both savory (just fyi). The mango sticky rice with coconut sauce dessert-not a fan at all and coconut and mango are two of my favorite flavors. Overall, it was a decent experience; no regrets for giving it a try. But, I definitely won't go again. Sad, too, because I REALLY wanted to love it!

We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant and were seated immediately by a friendly employee who also acted as our server. The aesthetic is simple and clean with some Asian vibes but chairs with french words, so a bit of a mix. We ordered a lot of different things to try, sorry I didn't take more photos. The broth for the wonton soup was incredibly garlicky and flavorful. Potstickers were as expected. Scallion pancakes were hot, crispy, and delish. Pork intestines were an adventurous order and they were surprisingly good. Chicken with black pepper and double cooked pork slices were super flavorful. Sweet and sour ribs were tender and more complex than anticipated. Baby bok choy and green beans were really nice quality and huge portions. The chicken fried rice was some of the best I've had. The server was attentive and helpful with questions. We have enough leftover for another meal, and the prices were fair for the quality. We will return!
