I've been coming to Asian Pho consistently for about two years, and it's still my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I've tried several other Vietnamese places around the area, but nothing has matched the quality and flavor here. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the service has consistently been friendly. The spring rolls are hands down the best I've had anywhere. They're always fresh, packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce is amazing. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, I highly recommend giving Asian Pho a try. She had dental surgery the day of our order...but she had leftovers. The first day was a pass (who doesn't have dental pain after having a crown?). We both had the leftovers the second day. Considering it's location & proximity to the gas pumps, it's quite good. I enjoyed the Vietnamese dish with pork & shrimp. My friend is a vegetarian and we found out that while they offer vegetable pho, both kinds are made with a chicken or beef broth, which kind of cancels out any vegetarians wanting soup. She loved her spring rolls though. It was $40 for 2, so on the spendy side for gas station pho. read more

I ate here (to go, not in restaurant) for the first time today and it was TERRIBLE. I had the Chicken Pho (15. Chicken Rice Noodle Soup) and it was the WORST Pho broth I have ever had. First, I was barely given any bean sprouts (we're talking two, maybe three bites worth), which is ridiculous considering they are one of the least expensive ingredients in this dish. Secondly, and most importantly, the broth was absolutely disgusting!! It was basically badly flavored oil water that didn't taste anything like what pho broth (or any broth) should ever taste like. The layers of oil were so thick and excessive, that when I took a bite, my lips and mouth were completely coated with it. I could only get through a few bites before I gave up because it was, quite literally, like drinking vegatabe oil. The flavor itself was over seasoned with the wrong spices, and under seasoned with the right ones. In the third image I uploaded, it shows the massive amounts of seasoning separating from the oil and accumulating at the bottom. I eat Pho at least once a week and I like to try new places, but this was highly disappointing. I've not had any of their other dishes, so I can't judge the menu as a whole, but if it's anything like the dish I had, I do not recommend it. read more

Being right around the corner from my office, I visit this spot for takeout every now and again around lunchtime. The food keeps me coming back, the language barrier makes things interesting. I have ordered several different pho combos with my favorite being the #9 with rare beef and brisket. I also get the fresh spring rolls. The broth is amazing and even in a to-go order is piping hot when I get it back to the office. A large is easily two days worth of lunches. They provide plenty of fresh lime, Thai basil, cilantro, and bean sprouts along with a large portion of noodles and meat. Chili paste and plum sauce are in little containers and included as well. The spring rolls are different than I've ever had with both shrimp and thinly sliced pork along with lettuce, rice noodles, and the chewy rice paper wrapper. The pork inside is not my favorite just because it is a bit dry and the texture overwhelms the other delicious things inside. They include peanut sauce which is always delicious, but it would be wonderful to add some fresh chopped peanut for an added crunch as well. Be sure to check your order when doing to-go. There is a language gap and things get mistaken from time to time. Or better yet order by the item number in the menu and there will be no issue. You don't leave a name, number, or anything after calling in an order. You just have to trust that they got it and it will be waiting after 10-15 minutes, which for me it always has been, but was definitely off-putting the first few times I ordered. They have reopened the dining tables so you can eat there again, but it's connected to the gas station next door so I don't know that I ever will. Lastly, prices are so incredibly reasonable. The food is good, cheap, and quick. What more can you ask of a take-out spot? read more

Cute little place that shares a Wendy's and 7-11 gas station. Pho is a hit or miss, but their chow mein is really good with veggies that are never overcooked. I like the beef better than chicken. Orange chicken is cooked well and saucy. Service is good, no frills but attentive and consistent. Great quick lunch spot. read more

In addition they've raised prices on the most popular dishes as well. Read my previous reviews to see my issues with takeout here. While prices are rising, portion sizes are still enormous. The lunch special is now $9.00 but you get a magnificent bowl of food. I get the shrimp and grilled pork bowl with cold vermicelli noods (had to say it). Their fish sauce dressing is a little sweeter than I'm used to so I add a little fish sauce from the table to salt it up. They've got the best chili oil too, which I apply liberally to each bite! MMM! You really can't go wrong with this dish or anything on this menu. Just plan to enjoy it there. I highly suggest the Dry Noodle Combination and Bahn Xeo when they serve it. read more

I always go here but today was just a huge downer. Typically you are greeted (or acknowledged in some manner) when you first walk in. You grab a menu and seat yourself. Today I walked in and grabbed my seat as usual. I wait.. I wait.. there's a girl at the counter that's just chilling there. I don't recognize her at all. She's young and was wearing a pink shirt with sparkles. This is a small place folks I was in her direct line of sight, next to the front door and the restaurant was empty... except for the couple sitting in the corner. I wait long enough to see the couple get annoyed at the waitress (counter girl) because they were already eating and had to remind her to get them their waters and coffee. She takes care of them and then goes off doing whatever again and ignores me. Eventually I just went up to the counter to order my food. She makes me pay for it right there. I didn't think much of it at the time. I sit back down and a woman who had come in after me was already enjoying her meal. I wait. I finally get my food but it's to-go. I told her it wasn't a to-go order and that I was eating in house. She gave me the weirdest look. Kind of like a mixture of confusion, impatience and annoyance. I know some of the people that work here don't know much English so I repeated that I was eating in the restaurant and asked if I could have a bowl to put everything in. She looked at me like I was asking for something extremely out of her way. She walks over, with an attitude, to talk to the two men in the kitchen window. There was a long extended period of time where all employees seemed annoyed the guys locked eyes on me and never looked away. I must have done them a real dirty for asking for a bowl. I repeated that I wanted a bowl because I was eating there. Still staring. So she continuously asks them for a bowl and she finally gets one... as she's walking over, she blows dust (presumably) out of the bowl and picks something off with her finger. Gag. The guys are still staring. I'm locking eyes with these guys and it's getting so uncomfortable at this point. The waitress comes over and starts saying something but at that point I was over it. I asked the men to stop staring at me. Doesn't stop. I get up and say I don't want to eat there anymore at all. We 3 adults came in with 4 kids, once we came in the restaurant, the waitress (manager?) began to stare at us, which made me so uncomfortable. When we sat down, we got 3 ice water. My 1 year-old daughter spilled the water, and the waitress was so impatient and rude.At last, my husband, me and my two little kids, we have to share 1 cup of ice water. We ordered 4 noodles soups and 1 rice with meat and vegetables, but it just came with 1 small side vegetable for the noodle soups. If you want to be treated nicely, don't come here. Updating my review. Since close to my work I came again for lunch. I put in my order but then decided to order some egg rolls after my food had already came out. The waitress was very pleasant and smiled and said of course. I ordered the flame broil beef and rice this time. Came out quick and was very tasty. I've been here a few times now. Each time has gotten better. It's a little different. This place is connected to 7'11. You seat yourself and they will come and bring you a menu and drink order. They don't really say a whole lot to you though. First time I came I wasn't sure if I seated myself or if they do (you just pick a table). Today I got the rare steak Pho. Broth was tasty and it came out quick. When done eating you have to go to register to pay (or so far from my experience). read more

Usually I don't stray far from Pho when I find a good one and Asian Pho has good enough pho. The broth is ok but I wouldn't say it's my favorite...yet it's their lunch special that's outstanding and has my hubby and I repeating our business there! Whether or not you're getting it to go or eating in, or even actually during their lunch special or not, their "Traditional Vietnamese Charbroiled Dishes, specifically the Flame broiled Shrimp and Pork is something everyone has got to try at least once! Now, as I have said before, I feared to stray from the pho, but my hubby told me I had to try it so I decided to roll with the punches and order what he was ordering! A heaping bowl of Vermicelli noodles, piled high with flame broiled pork and shrimp, veggies like cucumbers, carrots and beans sprouts, with crushed peanuts and a "special" sauce... this is crisp, refreshing and down right tasty! I wish I could replicate their special sauce... The fresh vegetables pair well with the savory meats and the way it's all put together is unique and playful. Definitely something different to try than the usual pho! It is a good thing, However, that the food is so good because as mentioned before customer service is hit and miss. So I'm giving giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the fresh rolls are good and I love the pot stickers. I usually only get the flame broiled pork but today I got teriyaki chicken, chow mein and sweet and sour chicken as well. The teriyaki chicken was tough, dry and overcooked and the sauce is mediocre at best. The chow mein was edible at best. The sweet and sour chicken was so gross! We threw it in the trash. She failed to tell me my total, wait time or even ask for my name before she hit click on her phone. She left me with words in my mouth. When I arrived she asked me for my name, and i replied "you never asked me " i told her i wasn't even sure if it was ready yet since she failed to tell me over the phone on how long it was gonna take! She had me repeat my order. My son didn't even eat his chow mein, he said it tasted too salty. Which in reality it was way over seasoned. Too much soy or something. The Good: Imperial rolls were crispy with good overall flavor. Just OK: The spring rolls with the peanut sauce were pretty bland. The robust peanut flavor was missing. The contents of the rolls were fresh, however. The Bad: See attached pic of the BBQ Sandwich. Minimal filling with dry, over-cooked, flavorless meat. I took nothing out of the sandwich prior to taking the picture. A sad, inedible sandwich. This was my 3rd visit this year. The service is what it is - I've experienced no better or worse here. I love Vietnamese food and when I have a craving for it, Asian Pho is my go to although it's the furthest from my home. For those who don't know me I don't mind traveling anywhere for great food. Please Note: **The five stars is strictly for the food.** I have always had good service, but I come with my half Vietnamese friends so I'm not sure if that's why. Based on other reviews, service here is hit or miss. I generally visit on Saturdays or Sundays so I can order their special the Bahn Xeo since they are only offered those two days and I always have to have a bowl of their delicious pho. There is something about their broth that keeps me coming back. For those who don't really like pho, they also offer combo plates with rice with generous portions of meat and rice.
