    Red curry and butter naan
    Jim W.

Just inside the Reno Public Market is Art of Spice serving Thai and Indian food. With all the food stalls here your party can have their choice but could also enjoy several dishes from AoS and share. The portions are large so is the flavor! Red curry, rice (or noodles), butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious. Order at the counter leave a number get a text. Lots of seating at RPM, even high chairs for our visiting 1year old. Great space, great food and periodically live entertainment.

I am picky when it comes to Pad Thai and decided to give Art of Spices version a shot during our last visit to Public Market. Their version did not disappoint! Delicious and hearty portion. Nice and hot and I appreciated that it was served in a takeout container. I felt their prices were more affordable in comparison to some other vendors at the market. I only wish they had an option to add a level of heat to the dish and make it more customizable.

This is a mom and pop restaurant in a nook of Reno Public market. They serve you some amazing fresh Indian Breads which on point kicks nostalgia of my Childhood. Their tea aka Indian Chai is also worth trying for. The restaurant owners have their roots both in India and Thailand which reflects in their food ! Bonus Tip - Eat their paranthas fresh in there and don't pack them.

Chicken Tikka with Mint chutney and Tamarind sauce

I seen this place online and I'm so glad I took the chance! We ordered the chicken tikka, it came with their Mint chutney and Tamarind sauce. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and the veggies were delicious. The sauce was out of this world and really brought the dish together. Very friendly staff as well! 10/10 coming here again with my mom :)

Had the pad Thai and stir fry both were not very good. A little too much fish sauce or something in both.

This is a Thai restaurant, and when we got there they were getting ready to close, but thankfully we were still able to place an order to go. While we waited for our food, we grabbed a drink at the bar. We didn't have to wait too long at all, which was a big plus! We ordered the yellow chicken curry and the chicken Se Ew, and both were SO good! The yellow chicken curry had so much flavor and was absolutely delicious. The Se Ew was also really good and had such a great flavor. I was so happy with everything we got! The people working there were also super sweet and helpful, which made the experience even better. They have seating inside and outside, so it would definitely be a cute place to sit and enjoy your food. I'm already wanting to go back the next time I'm in Reno to try more things on their menu. I would definitely get the yellow chicken curry and Se Ew again because they were that good! If you're in the area, you should definitely go try this place. The food comes out quickly, the staff is amazing, and you won't be disappointed!

Thai Chili is a sleeper for sure, as it looks pretty Ho hum from the outside. Once inside, however, it's really homey. It's a little overcrowded with mismatched stuff, but it WORKS! I loved the ambiance for its non traditional, non sterile atmosphere. Now for the food! While maybe not 5 stars, it's a solid 4.5. Everything we had was top notch, with a couple of things being absolutely outstanding. Best of the night were the Curry Puffs, dipped in there insanely excellent peanut sauce (not too sweet and almost like a hint of chili oil) The Springs Rolls were a close second and my Mango Curry dish sparkled. Great Yellow Curry!! My son had a noodle dish that was also incredibly tasty. Have to say it may take me some time, but exploring their very extensive menu will be a pleasure. A big shoutout to Kylie, whose smile lit up the room and was accompanied by her fabulous service. Don't let the nondescript exterior stop you from trying this place. Some of the best Thai food I've had in Reno! Cheers, JimG

My friend and shared the following: - Crab Fried Rice: I am usually picky with fried rice because it can get dry very easily depending on how it's cooked. However, this was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. - Yellow Curry: This was good and came with a bowl of rice. How it was served gave a very homey feel. - Mango Sticky Rice: The rice is sweet and the mangos were good. However, there is a big difference in the amount of mangoes and rice they serve per plate compared to the first time we were here. Overall, the food tastes good and the service is okay. I am disappointed in the lack of consistency with plating and amount of food that is served. I would not eat in the restaurant in the future, but prefer take out. I really wish the presentation and comfort was the same as when I came in the first time. There is a difference seen in the pictures from the first time I came to eat in the restaurant versus now.

The portions were generous with plenty of leftovers to pack up in takeout boxes for enjoying for another day. My favorite three were the ahi tuna, the black cod and the brilliant asian/french mash up of red Bean Creme Brulee. I also need to mention, I loved the lamb tenderloin. I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The owners did an outstanding job of timing the dishes and engaging with our group while also taking care of other diners including non event patrons getting getting take-out and inhouse menu dining. The space is very small, but even with and almost full house, it didn't feel cramped. Even though Kwok's is right across the street from where I live, this restaurant would be at the top of my list of "I would drive out of my way to eat here"

To start, you can't go wrong with the enthusiastic welcome we always receive. Then quickly seated and wine poured. The 2026 CNY menu was fabulous, with some great surprises. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The braised short ribs were so tender no knife was needed, they flaked apart with the fork. And the e mein noodles were perfectly al dente. The dinner wrapped up with a crème brûlée that only Kwok's could pull off - red bean. Creamy smooth. Not overwhelming. The perfect burnt sugar layer on top. The regular menu is just as delicious. Small inside seating area, so recommend always make a reservation. In the summer there's a fabulous patio area out front. Limited street parking.

Our server was very knowledgable on their vegan items so it helped in our decision making. We ordered the Mushroom Salad, a Tofu Pad Kee Mow, and their Tofu Satay. The mushroom salad was a refreshing standout filled with a variety of grilled mushrooms on a bed of greens. Our noodles with tofu and veggies was also great - large portions and plenty of protein. As for the satay, they accidentally brought out chicken satay at first, which our server immediately noticed and rectified the issue. When the tofu satay came out, it ended up being skewers of fried tofu puffs that you'd dip into their peanut sauce. While delicious, I was hoping there would be more creativity in layering or marinating the tofu with the sauce like the chicken satay would have been. As a Californian, I appreciated the lower pricing for their menu items and found it fairly inexpensive given the times.
