I enjoy the food here. Nice location and plenty of parking available. I have reviewed before but on my last visit I had one concern, not sure why it is important to me but it is. The food, the service, prices and ambiance I have no issue with, what does upset me each visit is the cutlery. Yes, the cutlery. It feels like the thinnest and cheapest money can buy. I have never ever thought about the cutlery at any other place but here it really bothers me. It detracts from the overall experience for me.

Sk noodles is located right next to raley's right off. McCarran just happened to buy. We stopped in after church and ordered a noodle bowl. It was amazing. I will be back for another one. It was lettuce on the bottom noodles and loaded with all kinds of goodies. They had a sauce you pour over it and it was just amazing. I loved it! I love this place. Come and try them. You will not be disappointed

Based solely on today's order of flame broiled, bone in pork and crispy sesame tofu with fried rice lunch special. It was a bit busy for lunch time but got seated right away. Our server was by herself but she did great. Very nice and attentive lady. Food was actually decent! We had came a few months ago and I wasn't happy but today was a different story. The tofu had a nice crisp and bite to it and the pork was VERY flavorful. I'd suggest trying the flame broiled pork with the bone in! Only issue that stuck out was the water tasted like it came from the gutter. Other than that, everything else was great!

It was a rainy day and I've been craving pho so I wanted to go somewhere close. We ordered from SK Noodle on Grubhub and the pho was good so we wanted to try it in person. When we entered, they were not very busy and said we could sit anywhere. We ordered the combination pho. All the meat was good. The broth was good, but it is missing something to make it more flavorful. Still one of the better pho broths in town. You can add extra noodle for $2 and they give you a lot of extra noodle for $2. Service was very quick. It was a good music selection and a lot bigger inside than I expected. Definitely will come back to try more food on the menu.

This place is a solid standard in Reno. I love the flavor so much. The staff are always so quick to help out, get our order, and help us navigate the menu. I adore this cute little spot too. It's cozy and homey and what you expect.

This is my first lunch at SK Noodle on a recommendation from my daughter. A truly Five Star War Wonton Pho Soup with noodles. Soup was Hot and Delicious and filled with Chicken, Pork, Shrimp, Vegetables and fried Wontons. Wow! The broth was outstanding. I also ordered 2 Shrimp Spring Rolls, cut into 4 pieces with Peanut dipping sauce. Loved it so much. Fantastic service and the restaurant was nice with many table choices. Ambiance was nice and I will definitely come back again. Loved the food! See you soon. Julie A

For 6 years I have been coming to SK noodle. I bring my friends, family, order pick up, and delivery from this restaurant because the quality can't be beat. They offer vegetable broth, chicken broth, and a spicy broth for the pho. There are a number of vegetarian options. Everything on their menu is so good!

The best pho in Reno/Sparks. The both never fails to be delicious every time. I go when it sounds yummy and when I need something to help me feel better when I'm feeling sick. Great prices and fast service :)

This is a difficult place to rate. I ordered online but was already real close so showed up 15 minutes before the order was supposed to be ready (5 minutes after the order was placed) and the food was ready. It was just spring rolls (which I know are already made and that is fine) and a sandwich. The sandwich was already soggy, the bread is not a French roll as advertised. What saves this place is the price. $8.50 for spring rolls is cheap and definitely makes up for the fact the shrimp is all piled on each other so you get all 2 pieces in one bite. $9 for a sandwich is pretty good too. If the place was expensive, I would be more upset but I got what I paid for and would do it again.

I think today I ordered and ate at SK for the last time. In 2021, the cost for grilled over vermicelli noodle was $13, add egg rolls and add another $2. Today the cost is $18.60 for the same exact dish, and $2.75 to add eggrolls. There is no improvement on quality or ingredients, it's actually worse. The lettuce is brown and pink and there is more noodle than meat. I understand prices are going up for everything but paying $22 for an almost all noodle and almost turned lettuce dish does not seem right.

This is one of my GO TO Vietnamese restaurants in Reno/Sparks. SK Noodle is very clean inside and fast service. Portions are large and flavorful. I love their grilled Pork over vermicelli noodles. The honey walnut shrimp was excellent. Since we didn't order any PHO, we asked for their cup of broth on the side for only $1.50 each. It hit the spot for a cold Reno day.

Honest takeout review: Great 4 star option if you like sodium in your broth. 3.5/5 salty** Loved the walk in, walk out after ordering the food. It was clean, it looked organized and it was a great take out experience! Service was OP and I can't complain about the facility to order and take my food. -Combination beef pho: 3.5/5 I love me some good pho! If you like a saltier broth, then this is the spot for you! Ingredients tasted fresh, and some helped bring down that saltiness flavor that you get from the broth. The meatball was salty through the whole experience. I didn't get much of that extra flavor experience that I like with my broth. It was missing that depth you look for in pho. 1 point from the salt levels being a little higher than I wouldn't liked, and .5 from the depth of the broth not being there. I would have loved to give this review a 4, but there was a lot of salt in this batch of pho broth that made it hard for me to justify the flavor as it over took the depth you look for in a rich broth.

Chicken Chow Fun (dry) - take out
    Anna T.

It's been several months since I've been here. I ordered Chicken Chow Fun and it was very disappointing. The portion size very small, noodles didn't taste fresh and there was a tangy taste to it almost like it was old. Other places I've been too are much better but this place is close to me. I will have to go further for better food.

It's been about 4 years since the last time, I tried the food here and since I was hosting about 10 people at my home, I wanted to serve something simple and cost effective. My goto for this is Chinese food. I ordered chicken chow mein and stir fried mixed vegetables. It came in two trays and enough from probably closer to 15 people. So portions were good but the total bill was between $120-$130 about what I've come to expect here in Reno. Let's just say, I've traveled to several countries in Asia and lived most of my life in Northern CA eating quite a bit of Chinese food. This doesn't make my an expert but it would be fair to say, I am quite familiar with what is considered mainstream traditional Chinese cooking. But let's get to the food, with the caveat that I realize that everyone's preferences can vary widely when it comes to food. So my opinion is based on what one would find in Hong Kong and San Francisco. The chicken chow mein had all the correct ingredients, long noodles that were slightly thicker than say spaghetti, had the correct amount of softness without being mushy. Chicken was presented in slices and appeared to be white meat, there was some white onions thrown in there for some texture and flavor. Normally when I order chow mein, it isn't served with a brown "gravy". Not that this dish was swimming in it, but think of spaghetti with tomato sauce. Replace the red with medium dark brown and you get the picture. Now my guests who are Reno locals, thought it was great and flavorful. I would agree with the flavor part but it was much too saucy for my tastes. Would I try Chin Chin again for noodles? I'm not sure but the owner did state, they can make dishes any way I like, so perhaps I'll order off menu next time. The stir fried mixed vegetables is where I was most disappointed. Let's start with the ingredients. All were sliced in 2-3 inch pieces, which included button mushrooms, zuchinni, bamboo shoots, brocolli, carrots, and onions. This dish could have passed for a savory vegetable stew. There was a lot of gravy, so much so, that it colored all the vegetables brown, except for the carrots. The sauce had a slight "twang" to it, almost vinegar or worchester-like. Not my thing, I could not taste the individual flavors of the vegetables because of how heavy the sauce was. The brocolli was over cooked where the flowerette parts were pale. I prefer my vegetables to be just cooked, almost snappy. I would not order this dish again. No comments on the restaurant itself as both times I tried it, was for take out. So bottomline, would I try Chin Chin again? Yes but I will be very specific on how I would like my order prepared. Maybe for their lunch special.

I did like it, and the spice was within what I like, but I think the next time I would order something else. The fried rice was very well done with a good flavor also. It was just the rice. It had no egg or veggies in it. I had enough for two meals on the first combo, and the second one went into my portable cooler, and is going home to Sacramento with me. For all I got, the price was extremely reasonable, even if I would've gotten only one combination. Thank you very much.
