This restaurant has recently become a place to visit for us. They don't have a huge menu and I feel like that has given them time to really do their options well. So, check out the menu before a visit to make sure they have what you are looking for. Pros: Yummy appetizers, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, pho (beef was especially good), and speciality drinks. Other items too I am sure but this is what I have sampled so fat. Con: They really toasted the bread on the Bahn mi, on all times someone at our table has ordered it, it is a struggle to eat, especially for smaller mouths/ those in braces. I've been trying to fill that Vietnam food itch since coming back from Vietnam and Sip of Saigon hits the spot (coffee wise) for me. I love their iced classic drip coffee with condensed milk (cà phê sữa đá) and the iced pandan coconut iced coffee. So far I've tried the Saigon banh mi with the classic combination hams, the baguette was crunchy and fluffy and the hams were thinly sliced paired with the classic pickled daikon and carrots, a lot of parsley and jalapenos but it wasn't the best banh mi I've ever had. I've also tried the pistachio ricotta cake which was not overly sweet. I've always loved the service here with the clean tables and cute aesthetics and friendly staff. Finally stopped in for food to go. Had the shrimp and chicken pho. Packaged perfectly for travel. Broth in separate container from everything else so it was easy to put together at home and fresh. Flavor was phenomenal. Broth was loaded with richness. Shrimp boiled well and chicken was cooked until it was just done and very tender. Bean sprouts, mint and lime were fresh. Friday, I ordered their spring rolls with shrimp and avocado. OMG! These were the bass and I do mean the best spring rolls I have ever eaten. There were full of vegetables and shrimp and avocado and the peanut sauce was excellent too nice and creamy. I barely finished the three that they give you. They're so big. I thought I had eaten the best before at some other place, but I was mistaken. First time here...Cool place, but the owner may to come do a quality check on the food, because I highly doubt he is okay with how the food was served...had the Bahn mi, way to much bread, slight crunch on the outside, the a obviously old piece of bread. Pork belly was sliced so thin, seemed like it was reheated in a pan that was way too hot, and the salt level was insane. There was a sauce inside of the Bahn mi, had that been distributed evenly, I may not have minded the extreme saltiness. I've been coming here for about two years now. For a little bit of a background, I've never liked spring rolls and definitely not the peanut sauce. Until I came here. They have probably some of the best spring rolls and the best peanut sauce I've ever had. The best one is the special bbq pork with that crunch inside, so good. They offer no tripe or tendon which is disappointing for the price point? Just meat and noodle for 18 dollars. Maybe it's representative of a northern style pho? They also only give you a palm sized amount of bean sprouts. Overall ambience of the establishment was nice, but the aesthetic doesn't justify the exorbitant price point. I ordered the Shrimp Bahn Mi, and my husband order the BBQ Pork Egg Rolls. We shared both meals. We both fell extremely ill the next morning, resulting in me ending up in the hospital with severe food poisoning. I was diagnosed with Gastroenteritis due to u safe food. I have reached out to the health department and they are no under investigation. I reached out to the restaurant as well and let them know what happened and that I am now stuck with a $1700 emergency room bill and they have stopped responding. The are now under investigation with the Nevada Department of Health. I said that was okay. We then ordered and was charged more than what was on the menu. When I asked why is it more than what is on the menu, she said to go orders are more expensive. I said okay, but you are the one saying we have to take it to go, so I don't think we should be forced to pay more. It didnt matter. The restaurant is small and clean, cute decor. The menu is a little confusing. The fist thing it says is choice of protein and then list all the other ingredients and it has a price. But if you want protein on it you have to pay extra. A beef stew with rice noodles and shrimp spring rolls with a flavored sparkling water and black leaf iced tea. Total was over $40 plus a tip that I was wondering if I should have given. That seemed excessive to me since the food was delivered to our table in takeout containers and we had to throw away our items vs leaving for the servers to clear. As well, if serving in house, real silverware and plates should be offered. The shrimp spring rolls had a fishy smell and taste although everything else seemed fresh. I got the rare beef pho with added veggies. First off this broth is amazing! One of the better pho broths I've had. Super flavorful. But I rarely got any beef and there's no chili crisp to put in my soup, also the veggies were different than normal pho with water chestnuts and bell pepper, which were slightly over cooked.
