    Hibachi chicken

Decided to come here because they had hibachi listed on their menu. It wasn't what we thought it would be when we arrived. I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner and my fiancé ordered the orange chicken. We also opted for the crab Rangoon since it's sweet. The food was served quickly. The presentation was really nice. I was not a fan of the hibachi - too sweet and I really wanted something savory. The crab Rangoon was lacking flavor but was better dipped in sweet & sour sauce. My fiancé was pleased with his meal. The eggrolls looked overcooked but he said they were good. I don't see us coming back here.

I do love this sushi! If you haven't tried it you should. I always get the deep friend sushi. It's the best. It will fill you up. Now I don't wait much for it as I do an online order then go pick it up. To make it faster. You do have to ask for dipping sauce. Wish they had that in the online ordering to make it faster.

Shrimp hibachi was good. However, the sushi was lukewarm and tasted unappetizing. The egg drop soup was a terrible consistency and the restaurant felt nice and all tables were clean. Workers were kind and friendly. May have just been a one time issue.

    Sesame Chicken & Fried Rice

Decided to stop in here with a friend of dinner. We ordered the Singapore noodles, beef fried rice, sesame chicken, and a few sushi rolls. Although I like sesame chicken I rarely order it because the chicken is often overcooked, but not in this case. The fried rice and the Singapore noodles were delicious. I probably would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the sushi. We ordered a california roll and 2 boston rolls. The California roll was as expected but the Boston roll was a big miss for me. Mainly because they added mayo to the top of the roll and there wasn't any cream cheese. Was it horrible in taste...nope. But it wasn't what I was expecting.

Best lo mein I've had. Ever. The egg roll filling was a bit mushy. But that's not the main attraction. The lo mein! Get it!

The lemon pepper chicken was delicious, and the stir-fry was delicious. The price was a little steep for the amount of the portion sizesz

Service is always good, the ambiance is a bit bland. And frankly, none of these extraneous considerations matter to me! When I go out for sushi, I just want it to be plentiful and delicious. For reasons I have yet to contemplate and unpack, I don't really look at ordering sushi as a fine-dining experience where the service and the venue and the decor and the menu diversity all factor in much. To me, either your sushi rolls are top-notch or they're not. And by this rubric, Oishii is unrivaled in Louisville, KY. One can argue that Sapporo's happy hour is a better value, or that the Dragon King's Daughter's bento box is the best bang for your buck sushi lunch. But no one can accurately claim to have better sushi than Oishii. Here are my ratings for rolls I have tried: Koi 9 Highlander 8.5 Hot 8.5 Aloha 8 Crazy Eel 8 Zen 8 2in1 7.5 Hawaiian 7.5 Volcano 7 Lieutenant 7 Big Daddy 7 Sunset 7 Derby 6 Spicy Tuna 6 Spicy Salmon 5 I also appreciate that Oishii isn't stingy with their pickled ginger. They're not the cheapest spot in town, but when one considers that their rolls are generously-sized, they're not unreasonably-priced at all. Highly recommended!

Twelve years ago, my dear friend began breeding Goldendoodles: to produce dogs capable of changing lives and they did (Many Many Lives) One of those puppies is Ozzy. Ozzy isn't "just a dog." He is a highly trained guide dog by Custom Canines Service Dog Academy who gives his person, Kevin Kraly, the independence that many of us take for granted every single day. He is Kevin's eyes. His partner. His freedom. Recently, Kevin and Ozzy attempted to enter THIS restaurant together. Instead of being welcomed, they were turned away. They were asked for identification for Ozzy. They were told they could only dine outside only there was no outside dining . They were even told Kevin could come inside if he tied Ozzy up outside and left him there. Imagine being told to leave your eyes at the door. Let.that.sink.in. A blind man was told to leave his guide dog outside. Even after the law regarding service animals was shown and explained, entry was still denied. This isn't simply poor customer service. This is a reminder that many people with disabilities still face barriers that should not exist in 2026. The Americans with Disabilities Act protects the right of service dog teams to access businesses open to the public. These protections exist because guide dogs are not pets--they are essential medical assistance animals that allow their handlers to navigate the world safely and independently. No one should have to fight for basic access because they are blind. No one should have to defend the legitimacy of their guide dog. And no one should ever be told to leave their eyes outside.

The waiter was so nice, literally overheard me talking about it being his birthday and he came out and sung happy birthday with a slice of cheesecake and tiara! It was such a sweet gesture. Also he was very attentive and made sure everything we ordered we got! Very sweet man. Now on to the food! I'll be honest, I don't eat sushi or seafood so I wound up ordering the chicken hibachi. The portion was huge for $16.99! I feel like it came out pretty quick and I wasn't a fan of the yum yum sauce..it was a bit sweet and didn't taste like the normal sauce I am use to back home. The space was overall nice and it seems as though it could get pretty loud when you're already a large group sitting with a large group of people. I also noticed a lot of gnats flying, this is something that is common at restaurants obviously. But it became a bit annoying when one landed on my lip as I was talking and started flying over my food. I lost my appetite after that and decided to box my food up. Overall, the service is what made me give this place 5 stars! It seems like they have pretty good sushi from what my friends were saying but I wouldn't come for anything else.
