    Bento box

I ordered delivery to my grandmas house. First super excited that someone actually delivers, besides just pizza. You can place your order online and add your special requests there. I added please make extra spicy. I ordered an order of crab Rangoon for my mom and I ordered the beef & broccoli bento box. Also order the hot and sour soup. They arrive after about an hour, which did seem like a super long time, but was glad I didn't have to go out of the house. Food was just room temperature by the time it was delivered. I was still pleased because the food was really great! Broccoli was super fresh and meat was good too! Rice does not have much flavor, not sure it's seasoned with pork or any other meat. I did not see any eggs or veggies in fried rice. Bento box comes with rice, entree, and sushi! Great value! And some fried shrimp treats. It's nice to have a restaurant that delivers on our end of town!

Food was pretty good. Took a while to make but that was ok it was hot and fresh. I'm only giving this place a 3 star because none of the workers had a mask. Not even while cooking the food. I prayed over my food but I feel much more calmer if cooks wear a mask

    Hibachi Vegetable

The vegetables were drowning in the water sauce. The plain lo mein was okay at best. Honey walnut shrimp was crispy but the shrimp texture was too hard for my liking. The sauce for the shrimp was too watery and not enough flavor. Service was good but it took a while for the food to come out. I would not come here again.

Good food and good service are what this little place is all about. I have had just about everything on the menu and so far they have not failed once to delight. If you are in the mood for sushi. They got it. Chinese.... Got that too. Hibachi no problem. I highly recommend!

I had a consultation for braces next door, got hungry so I had to make a visit here since I read a lot of good reviews from fellow yelpers. I ordered Kung Pao shrimp with white rice and hot &sour soup (lunch combo for $5.95). I also wanted to try out their sushi so I got an Alaskan roll for $5.45. I have to say, I like the prices, so cheap! Even though I was dining in, my food came out in a plastic container, foam plate, and to-go box. I guess the price's cheap for a reason. It's actually worked in my favor because I didn't finish all my food and ended up taking the to-go box to go. The food came out piping hot, so that's a plus. Hot and sour soup's flavor was on point, with the perfect tang to it. The Kung Pao shrimps was drowned with more veggies and peanuts than shrimps but they all tasted fresh and not oily. I like the crunch of the celeries and carrots that were part of the dish. Sushi was decent, the rice was a tad bit on the dry side for me. Overall I was very pleased. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

The "steak" in their hibachi steak

The 3 stars is from prior experience. I remember when Asian House first opened. I couldn't believe how good the food was. I recommended them to everyone I know. It's been about six months since The last time I ate there. And I decided to have a cheat day and go to my favorite Asian restaurant. I ordered their Hibachi Steak combo and crab Rangoon. When I got home with my meal I was stunned with how low their quality is now. Their fried rice was old. The "steak" was not steak. It might have been beef, but bottom of the barrel quality. The crab Rangoon was just cream cheese in old fried wontons. I mean, this place used to be the best in Louisville. I'm really hoping this was just a terrible fluke.

Out of all of the options in the Dixie highway area for Asian food, this is the best! Their sushi was really good and so was the lo mein.

Family dinners are available as well. I enjoyed my flavorful wonton soup, ate plenty of sweet and sour chicken, took bites of the Mongolian beef, and sampled most of the dishes around the table. I realize now that I didn't snap photos of everything! Service was attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking. I'm excited to return with my family.

I will never come back to this place…read more Let me start by saying I used to love this restaurant. It was one of our favorite. But now, it's on our list to never eat here again. It started with me placing an online order. This is new on their website while I was looking at the menu. I figured this would be best than calling the restaurant. How I was so wrong. I placed it with a 30 minute window. Ordered at 4:44 to be pick up at 5:14pm. I showed up to the restaurant at 5:03pm. There was about 4 other people at the counter. One person just placed their order, another person said her mom called to place the order but wasn't sure when it would be ready. They told everyone 20 min. I showed my ordered and they were going to be me 20 minute. I said I placed my order 20 minutes ago. Ok so I waited... Another lady came in and said that she placed her order around the same time online. Her order number was 140 and she had a long receipt with quite a lot of items. My order was 148, somehow. By the time I asked what's going on with my order at 5:15, they said they go by the order number and they're on 138. I don't think they processed my order until I arrived at 5:03pm. It took until 5:39pm before I receive the order in my hand. I only had very few items, one of which was an order for combination lo mein, plain mantou, shrimp tofu and wonton noodle soup. Mind blowing because I paid $50. The online system also charge a $1 fee, which I did not know about until I saw the receipt. Which would had been fine if my order was done in the time it was promised. Now, the staff was not the most friendly either... the person that handed me the bag almost dropped it because she put it in my hand, didn't say a word and turned and walked away. They cannot be any more rude than that. I was sweating profusely and shaking while waiting for a very long time while I am pregnant and nauseous. Now here's the review for the food. It was not good. We have had some on and off with their food and we haven't been back for a while so I wanted to give them another chance. But their lo mein was soo salty, and they used pad thai noodles. The wonton noodle soup was small container, so bland, literally no flavors, and the wonton tasted so bad. They put really hot tofu that was deep fried in styrofoam container that it put a hole through the container. So my paper bag was soaked and wet within the 6 minutes drive home. The mantou was so tiny for $4.5. Not worth it. All in all, the 4 items that I ordered did not worth the $50 for almost an hour wait, not worth my time or money. I wouldn't have eaten the food if I didn't already paid. Had I not already paid online, I would just had left.

Very small, only like 4 tables, so this is very much more for takeout. We didn't call ahead for our order, just ordered right there at the counter and our to go was ready in less than 10 minutes, and during Friday evening dinner rush when they were very busy. Woman behind the counter was so nice, made sure we had everything we needed, and you can see the cooks in the kitchen making your food. I usually get the chicken dishes. I got General Tso's this time. What I love: the chicken is fried to order so it's super crispy and the sauce is so flavorful. I feel like other places the sauce soaks into the breading and it gets a little soggy, but not here. Their crab rangoon is perfection. Other places is way too sweet with a few flecks of crab and is more like a cream cheese wonton. Theirs is generously filled with crab, and it's savory. I also love to get a side of lo mein, which had a great garlic flavor. You get so much food. I got a combination dinner that comes with pork fried rice (amazing) and an egg roll (crispy and also amazing). It's a nice deal. If you need Chinese takeout, this is where to go.
