This place was top of the charts. 4 of us went out & ordered a bunch of sushi rolls & main dishes. The sweet potato sushi roll was excellent! The spicy pistachio salmon roll was phenomenal. The tempura shrimp roll was delicious. For main dishes we tried the Singapore Noodle dish with chicken. It was unbelievably excellent. Full of curry & spice. And we chose the Ginger Chicken. My husband and I stopped by for the first time earlier today, to get sushi as a Mother's Day meal. We were warmly greeted as we entered & they were very happy to explain what was delicious on the menu. The place is very tiny, but it has so much charm, is cozy & inviting. I am so excited to have a healthier option in our neighborhood and want to try everything on the menu! Had the Pad Thai with tofu. Maybe a new guy was on duty, but as soon as it was set down in front of me, the dark color of the dish made it obvious that this was not really Pad Thai. Not sure, but either their recipe is way off or someone put the wrong sauce on it. The dish was also so saturated in sauce that I could've rung it out. Japanese, Thai, Chinese, etc. The vegetarian options have so many fresh veggies added and it's not like you ordered a meal without meat if that makes sense. The spice level was perfect, exactly what I expected from my 4/10. The dish was hot, with fresh, crunchy veggies and a typical quantity of meat. My wife ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, also a 4/10 spice level. The taste was great, appropriate spice, maybe heavier on the basil than I would have preferred. What ruined the drunken noodles for us was the noodles themselves--they were undercooked and chewy. I'm guessing the chewy, tough noodles were just a fluke. I plan to return to give them another shot. Service: We walked in and were immediately greater and told it was a 15 min wait for a table. We opted to sit at the sushi bar. Our drinks came out quickly, as did all our food. Our sever was attentive but never over bearing. Quick service for how busy they were. While we ate, we saw lots of people coming and going picking up takeout orders. Facilities: Asian spice Bistro is a small place, with maybe 9 tables and 4 sushi bar seats. Every time the front door opens, you're greeted with a blast of outside air because of how small the space is. It's clean and simply decorated. People are rude and service is extremely slow. We were told the food would be ready in 25 minutes and it took over an hour. When we asked to check on our order we were told they are done in the order they are received. Then when asked why we were told 25 minutes if it's not really 25 minutes and they just walked in the back and ignored what we asked. I was craving Chinese food tonight after a friend (who lives 2 hours away) mentioned she was on the way to pick up some for dinner. I don't drive so was wondering how I could get some food Chinese food for dinner. I saw Asian Spice Bistro was located close to where I live in Cincinnati and had a good rating. I noticed that they use Door Dash for delivery which I have never used before. Door Dash got my order to the house in less than 30 minutes after I placed my order. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup - Asian Bites - Cashew Nuts with Chicken. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I enjoyed the Asian Bites because you get a sampling of three appetizers with 2 dipping sauces. This Cashew Nuts with Chicken had lots of vegetables that were not over cooked. There was plenty of chicken that was tender and juicy. I ordered the spice level 3 which was perfect. This dish was light and flavorful compared to others I have tried at other restaurants. Tom Yum Soup is always my favorite soup and this one did not disappoint.
