What I don't love as much as I used to, is that they switched to squeeze bottle sauces since covid, this makes it much harder to get the amount of garlic and ginger correct in my meal. I do hope they will consider switching back one day. My partner has been complaining about this, plus it makes everything all sticky and kind of gross but they do provide gloves and there is usually hand sanitizer available. I think these meals are perfect for people with different dietary requirements, you can pile on the meat, eat only seafood, go low carb or just do veg. Jim goes on to tell me that we eat dead seafood (you know us---People in Everett--and yeah maybe it's a little soft but that's just typical dead seafood. Strike three. She did finally offer to refund my meal in cash, and I told her I was really trying to just make sure the restaurant wasn't unintentionally making my neighbors, friends, and family sick. I wasn't interested in going on blast with a review and contacting the health district, but after sleeping on it, I'm doing the right thing. Sorry Jin, your ego got in the way of a resolution. Be careful.... PS A note for Jin and Flying Lemon Fish. When I was 23, I served some bad clams at a fine dining restaurant. The family called to tell us their daughter was in the hospital with some liver problems. We immediately went to the cooler and went through all the shellfish, called back the family and offered to take care of any medical bills or follow-up. It happens if you serve food occasionally, just be respectful with your response, it goes a long way instead of challenging a customer's dissatisfaction.

Asian Spice is not a hit-or-miss place. It's a hit. Every. Time. We've been customers since the place opened, and it is wonderful! Our family of six (including skeptical eaters) loves the food, the colorful and CLEAN eating area, and the Korean owners. They are truly charming people. My in-laws ate there once with us after a big day at the park (which is right across the street), and now they insist on getting the family meal "to go" anytime they come to eat at our house. There is not an ounce of fat on any of the chicken. If it's breaded, you can bite down with confidence that there isn't something chewy or gristly awaiting your teeth. If only all Asian cuisine was like this! Mrs. Lee is careful to make sure we know when a dish has shellfish in it (I'm allergic); she's incredibly thoughtful.
