Food was great and the staff is very nice. The only thing to be aware of is they will charge you more per order to have it in a to-go container. Not really unheard of for some places but Teriyaki is already pretty expensive so it would be appreciated not to have this charge, otherwise I'd recommend coming here. read more

The restaurant seemed clean and the staff was very kind and welcoming. I was so happy to find my favorite dish ( sweet and sour chicken) which has been harder to find around here. I thought their prices were great for the amount you are given as well. The woman at the counter wrapped my order of very nice and even trying to bring it out to me. This is a good teriyaki place, and so far the best I've found in Monroe. Chicken was reasonably juicy. Sauces are good (not great but good). Had teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken, gyoza, and yakisoba. I only found a couple of issues. The yakisoba doesn't have much meat at all (four or five little pieces). Still good taste, but seems a little skimpy on the meat. The gyoza were a bit overcooked. Nothing fatal but a little darker than you might expect. Overall, still the best teriyaki place to date in Monroe (I think I still have two more to check out). read more

It come to a point that I must give a one-star review to this place that we used to enjoy, it was our go-to for teriyaki in Monroe, WA area. We got home ready to enjoy our teriyaki dinner and noticed something unusual with the beef that looked like it was deep fried beef. No, they don't deep fry beef teriyaki but after chewing it we knew something's unusual with it and spit it out. Basic options, nothing too crazy to report there. But they're FAST. FRESH. And ...most of all DELICIOUS. I got my fix, plus gyoza and egg rolls (which were not greeeezy like so many places). I love this place! When my kids ask for Teriyaki this is where we go. I call on my way home from work, and it's always ready to go when I arrive. She packs the utensils and napkins before I even get there. They are always friendly and polite. Even the customers are polite, you can tell they value the business. I pretty much always order the chicken breast, and the kids love the yakisoba. My husband typically gets the general Tao chicken. Decent sauce, despite it being a bit if a guilty pleasure. Katsu was not overcooked and tasted good. Chicken teriyaki was not the star of the show. I hope I don't jinx this teriyaki place with my review. Since I moved to Sno County, it seems every time I find a good teriyaki joint, it's closed the next time I go there. This place has the best yakisoba I've had outside Honolulu. I've been conditioned to expect really bad yakisoba from most teriyaki places around here: flavorless, salty noodles sitting in a pool of oil, with day-old teriyaki chicken tossed in with some cabbage and onions. The yakisoba from Teriyaki Bowl blew me away. Flavorful, with a hint of five-spice. Not oversalted. Generous with the vegetables, including broccoli, zucchini, and carrots. Generous with grilled teri chicken. No puddle of oil. You're getting a balanced meal here. In fact, you're really getting two of them, because the portions are generous, too. read more

I questioned the price and she said on line menu was from 2 years ago. I asked her to make it a special for $7.95 and I would take it, since their website had that as a menu option. She said no and waved me to leave. She had already charged my debit card so I went back to get my money. What a joke! read more

Great service! They were so courteous and thankful! The food was served quickly and was delivered right to our table with extra plates so we could share. The food tasted great too! We had Chicken and Beef teriyaki with extra meat. The serving size was great for 3 of us to share! The chicken had great grilled teriyaki flavor. The sauce flavor was just right - not too sweet / or too salty - just right! We also had fried rice - upgraded on one of the entrees from regular white rice along with our chicken yakisoba with extra veggies and an egg roll. The yakisoba was the only ~slight~ let down, it had a bit too much ginger flavor. Cut back the ginger flavor in half and it would have been perfect! Almost 5 stars, now I know to ask for less ginger next time and we will see if we have consistent service and food for our next trip! Can we get 5 starts on the next trip? We will see! read more

There are several teriyaki places in this area - we have tried them all and keep coming back to teriyaki bowl. Their food is fresh, perfect portions and definitely worth any wait. I also like that this is truly a family owned and operated place. The husband-wife team work hard and their pride for serving terrific food shows in their plates. Now that I have moved to LA from this area, I realize that this place has THE BEST TERIYAKI IN THE WEST COAST. You will never find anything close in the state of California. This small place cannot be judged by it's look from the outside. The way they make the sauce is pure art, no compromise. Whatever they do in the back of the kitchen can be trusted. I know this because you hear that even the restaurant inspector is surprised to see perfect score in every category.
