Food was great and the staff is very nice. The only thing to be aware of is they will charge you more per order to have it in a to-go container. Not really unheard of for some places but Teriyaki is already pretty expensive so it would be appreciated not to have this charge, otherwise I'd recommend coming here.

This is a good teriyaki place, and so far the best I've found in Monroe. Chicken was reasonably juicy. Sauces are good (not great but good). Had teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken, gyoza, and yakisoba. I only found a couple of issues. The yakisoba doesn't have much meat at all (four or five little pieces). Still good taste, but seems a little skimpy on the meat. The gyoza were a bit overcooked. Nothing fatal but a little darker than you might expect. Overall, still the best teriyaki place to date in Monroe (I think I still have two more to check out).

This place was DELICIOUS! We randomly decided to try out this teriyaki place and so glad we did. Seriously some of the best teriyaki I've ever had. Everything was incredibly flavorful and super well cooked. The lady working there was very kind and gracious. Definitely will be returning!

It come to a point that I must give a one-star review to this place that we used to enjoy, it was our go-to for teriyaki in Monroe, WA area. We got home ready to enjoy our teriyaki dinner and noticed something unusual with the beef that looked like it was deep fried beef. No, they don't deep fry beef teriyaki but after chewing it we knew something's unusual with it and spit it out. It was a plastic wrap that had been fried and after unraveling, it confirmed that it was a piece of plastic. It was so disgusting and disappointing.

Yikes, it's 8pm Saturday night. There's nothing in the house. Uber eats doesn't deliver out to Sultan. Restaurant choices in Sultan are limited...and dang, we need teriyaki. Like NEED. Not want. It's an addiction. What to do?! Enter Teriyaki Bowl. Tucked in a strip mall on the east side of Monroe you'll find a hidden gem. AND THEY'RE OPEN TIL 9! Hooray! Basic options, nothing too crazy to report there. But they're FAST. FRESH. And ...most of all DELICIOUS. I got my fix, plus gyoza and egg rolls (which were not greeeezy like so many places). I might need treatment for my addiction, but get to a recovery center, thank the gods for this place.

    Chicken Yakisoba to go.

I have come here twice. Got the chicken Yakisoba. Good sauce and food. The lady is super sweet and food is quick. There are quite a few Teriyaki places in Monroe but this one I think is my favorite out of the other ones I've been to. Not just with quality of food but atmosphere and pricing. I will definitely come here again.

Messed up my order and then was rude to me when I tried to explain my situation. Won't be coming back here. Much better teriyaki around.

I'm placing this as one of my new favorite sushi spots on the Eastside! Four of us came for an early dinner around 4:30P on a Saturday and got seating right away in a booth. The restaurant is on the smaller end with just a few tables on each side and a few seats at the sushi bar. In addition to an appetizer, two of us shared three specialty sushi rolls and the other two in our group ordered the chicken katsu meal set. Our sushi arrived beautifully all on one plate. Each specialty roll included 10 pieces and they all contained a generous amount of filling with a relatively thin rice layer, making the average price of $18 - $19 per roll worth the value. + TAKOYAKI ($7.50): These deep-fried dumplings had a soft creamy interior and housed a small piece of tender octopus. Four pieces came in an order, topped with mayo, unagi sauce and bonito flakes. I loved the crispy exterior and they were served steaming hot. I am not sure they were made in-house or frozen, but they were delicious. + KOUSHI ROLL ($17.99): A crab, avocado and cucumber roll topped with cajun seared salmon, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, green onion and fish roe. Between the crab filling and spicy mayo, this is a pretty creamy roll. The salmon on top had a very light sear, so while the smoky flavor was noticeable, I considered it closer to raw. The unagi sauce added some sweetness that offset the mild spice. + NAGOYA ROLL ($18.99): Tuna avocado roll topped with salmon, ponzu sauce, sweet sesame sauce, green onion and fish roe. The freshness of the fish especially shined here between the large cubes of tuna inside and the meaty slice of raw salmon on top. The sauce simply enhanced the roll without taking over the flavor, so it didn't distract from the purity of the ingredients. + SETO ROLL ($18.99): Spicy tuna and cucumber inside topped with tuna, ponzu sauce and green onion. This roll is HOT, like at least 3/5 stars on the spice scale! As spicy as it was, I really enjoyed it, especially since half the roll was topped with medium fatty tuna which was such a nice treat. Lean tuna draped over the other half. Chopped green onion on top added pops of freshness. The chicken katsu meal ($16.99) came with salad, rice and miso soup. I tried one piece of the chicken which was tender and had an excellent light crunch! Service was great as the two employees managing the dining room checked back a couple times and were actively watching in case any of the tables needed anything. I know I'll be back again for more sushi!

The chicken teriyaki tasted old, as though it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. The texture and flavor were off, and I did not feel comfortable eating it. As frustrating as the food issue was, the owner's appalling customer service was far worse. The restaurant specifically told me to bring the food back so it could be replaced. After I made the trip, the owner and his employee refused to replace it or refund the incorrect portions. They were rude, dismissive, and made me feel as though they believed I was being dishonest rather than simply asking them to fix their own mistake. The owner even tasted the returned chicken teriyaki and declared it "good," as though that entitled him to disregard the paying customer standing in front of him. A reputable business would have apologized and corrected the order in minutes. Instead, they wasted more than 30 minutes arguing, showing absolutely no respect, accountability, or concern for customer satisfaction. Mistakes happen. Telling a customer to return food, refusing to honor that promise, and then treating her with disrespect is a business choice. I would not recommend this restaurant.
