Homemade egg rolls are good. Could use a little more pork and shrimp. General Tso Chicken lunch special comes with a soda or soup for $6.25. Pretty good deal. Very nice size portion. I just moved to OM and haven't found any Chinese takeout that I like, until Asian Taste One. Their General Tso Chicken and Crab Rangoon (my usual order at my old place) isn't to my taste here though. They're good, but not quite how I like them. But, their rice is great -- yeah, I never thought much of rice until I moved and discovered some places around here taste like Uncle Ben's rice, which is NOT the same as good sticky Asian rice -- and I like their sweet buns. Today I tried the Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both are really good! This place is winning so far in my tour of Owings Mills and Randallstown Chinese food. Plus the menu here is huge! So if I have friends over and we order out, there's a lot more options here than at most other places. Now if only they had sushi too. LOL. read more

Good carry-out Chinese with fast delivery service. I have only ordered carry-out from this location. I use the Eat24.com app. The food is flavorful but not too greasy or salty. I believe it to be of slightly higher quality than what you might expect. I have had shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef dishes and none have disappointed. The shrimp are a good size and the vegetables are fresh. They do offer a small selection of Thai items as well as white and brown rice. There are also free food offers with minimum purchase amounts. My favorite items are the steamed pork dumplings, wonton soup, and beef moo shu. This is the only Chinese take-out our family orders from. We always get Mongolian Beef, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Sweet Sesame Chicken or General Tso's or Orange Chicken, and Drunken Noodles. The Cream Cheese Crab Wontons are delicious, sometimes they come free depending on how much we order. Sometimes cans of soda are free too. read more

We used to love Golden Key and after they retired and Asian Taste One moved in/took over we were a bit disappointed at first as a handful of the food is admittedly not quite as good as it used to be or rather just different and it's hard to swallow after knowing Golden Key literally my whole life. However since then they've won me over with their food too even though it's not quite the same. I've always had great customer service here, they see me enough to know me and are very nice. It's a family business so you get all sorts of people at the counter of all ages. I've never encountered anyone rude. They're quick too so I usually stop in or call, go shopping at the Giant and 15 minutes later go back and it's ready. Golden Key was known for their very soft fried rice with generous vegetables, egg and meat. Asian Taste One kept their recipe and the main fried rice (that you order by itself) is very still very good (I like the pork fried rice). They use their own pork recipe for the chopped bits of pork so its slightly different tasting than Golden Key's was but is still loads better than other places who do the very yellow rice with peas, etc. The fried rice they use as a side for dinner/ lunch platters has less vegetable "fixins" and is a bit bland. It's literally just "fried rice". Try requesting extra vegetables/onion and meat for your rice. The same with their lo mein. Their Thai dishes are actually rather good, in particular their Sambai/Sambal and Singapore noodles are very, very good with loads of vegetables and flavor. Those dishes always make people ask what I'm eating or love it if I give them a taste. The Sambai is a really balanced dish to put on top of white rice, ask them to make it spicy.I did not care much for their pad thai much or their curry. Their chicken wings are fantastic as they use a five-spice rub. I think their menu is highly variable, try a few things and see what you like. That's how I found the Sambai/Sambal which has become my go-to for it's high quality vegetables and meat in a non corn-starch based sauce. They're slightly on the pricey side but their offers when you meet certain price thresholds (free soup or cream cheese wonton etc) are pretty fair. I think it's still definitely one of the better Chinese places in the area. read more

I just tried ordering from these guys on Grubhub. I placed the order and I get a call saying that I'm outside of their delivery area. That's fine, I ask for a refund and they ask me to just cancel the order. I advise that I don't have that ability and that the cancellation would have to come from their end. The phone is handed to someone who I'm guessing is the owner, and she starts screaming at me! I can barely get a word in, but she keeps screaming at me for ordering outside of her delivery area. I had no idea that's what I was doing, I'm trying to explain to them that they had advertised on Grubhub that they were available and I tried to place an order. Luckily, I contacted Grubhub afterwards and they were able to confirm my order was canceled and get me my refund. Very unprofessional! read more

We used to love this place when it was Golden Key, but since the change it has went considerably downhill. We ordered food two nights ago and decided we wouldn't be going back. The prices have went up but the quality went down. The crab wontons were under-cooked and the fried rice was bland. Horrible food! I kept giving this place chances because it use to be Golden Key(which was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had). Every time I order I'm disappointed. The arrogant lady taking my order had a terrible attitude. The last time I went, I ordered the chicken with string beans and shrimp toast. The shrimp toast was ok. The chicken was NOT chicken. It was some slimy thin mystery meat which I certainly picked out. I could tell the string beans were pulled before they were done steaming. The rice was ehh. We are new to the area and ordered here for the first time Friday evening. We were told that we would get a free order of general tso's, pad Thai or crab wontons, because our order was over $35. We elected to order the general tso's. When we checked our order, very shortly after the driver left, we didn't have the extra order. We immediately called and was told that we did not actually qualify for the free order because our order before tax was not over $35, we were ok with that, and were immediately told, that we were entitled to the chicken or pork lo mein because our order was over $30. We told them either would be fine and after a burst of laughter, the young woman on the phone stated, "we're not coming back out there for that. Next time order it." We politely hung up the phone and they will not have to worry about my husband nor I, ordering again. I've used yelp for years and have never had to write a negative review. The food was OK, nothing that I would have ordered again but will not try anything else. I hope this helps you guys with making a decision. read more
