If you read this far please read the rest it's very important that you do. I am a real life customer and this is my experience.I could give zero stars if I could. More people need to speak up and leave recent reviews on this place because the presentation when you walk in is terrible like they block themselves in with tables, you can't see them coming your food at all, they block it, the fish tank is dirty like the water have been changed in years those poor fishies, and it's just never clean looking. They don't make up for it with quality food either. The food we ordered 4 wings and shrimp fried rice just to be safe. My bf gets other stuff sometimes but I don't trust them enough. So I give them a chance to get it right every once in a while and they get no better. My last order yesterday was the last for me. So I request my wings FRESH & They can't even get that right. The chicken is consistently recooked (look at real chicken when you get it especially at night double dipped in the fryer and it's yellow) despite us asking for fresh chicken this time. We usually ask for chicken cooked soft but no matter what terminology we use to try to get them to give us fresh chicken, it is cooked the same. It seems that, it kills them to make fresh chicken wings on demand for paying customers. I just can't understand it. I want exactly what I Ask for what I pay for!!!! Why is that so hard for you to understand? Do yall make the chicken at opening of the store and won't make anymore throughout the day or something? What's really going on? Either way idc I ask for fresh give me fresh food!. If they can't take pride in their chicken and rice as a place of business called Rice Kitchen, I'm afraid to try anything else. A big reason is because the appearance is not good. It's so dirty when you walk in. It seriously makes me consider if the Health inspectors are really doing their jobs. I'm seriously considering calling them they need a pop up. I hate that their isn't too many good places to choose from around here in this area but even if you are desperate this place isn't it. If you've eaten here let them know how it truly we'v went for other potential customer, leave your review maybe they will change when they realize they have to give us quality clean food or they can't have our money. Tell me, how could you be so careless with the people food? we trust you with food we have to ingest into our bodies and pay you our good money. I am one disappointed customer. This evening I ordered my husband and I some dinner from Rice Kitchen. I got my husband the Shrimp Egg Foo Young and I got the orange chicken with lo mein and two shrimp egg rolls. The orange chicken was cooked so hard it hurt my gums when I attempted to chew it. The lo mein tastes like it had been sitting around for days. The egg roll had literally one shrimp in it. I will NEVER patronize this business again. Rice Kitchen used to be my go-to. Wow, it's gone downhill. I ordered shrimp toast and a large serving of spare ribs. Both were burned, the ribs so badly they were inedible. I had to throw them away. I called the restaurant to let them know that the food was below its usual standard by far and was informed that no, the shrimp toast and ribs were SUPPOSED to be burned. They have one of the best spicy chicken dishes I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. Their Chicken with Schezuan pepper is absolutely delicious. I must emphasize that this dish doesn't seem to have any schezuan peppers. What it does have is jalapeño peppers and some dried red chilli peppers with plenty of deep fried pieces of chicken. It is very flavorful and packs quite a heat. I love it!!! I highly recommend trying it if you love spicy chicken. The small portion is plenty enough for one person and the large portion is in fact 'large' and enough for 2 people. The picture is of the large portion of the dish. Giving four stars as some of the other dishes I've tried weren't very good. But it has not stopped me from going back for the chicken with schezuan peppers time and again!! This is more of a takeout/delivery restaurant with limited seating areas. The people are very friendly though! So wouldn't mind dining in either. read more

Delivery was a tad slower than promised, but the food arrived hot. Great sushi (try the MD Sea King Roll) and great prices. I love that their dinner/combination platters come with the option of 2 crabmeat wontons instead of an egg roll. Sometimes I really want wontons but I don't buy them because they give you 8 and I can't (shouldn't) eat all of them. So I love that concept. This place is my go to for Chinese! They have good quality Chinese! Always friendly and fast. I've never had the sushi but according to the review that I just read I'll probably give it a try soon. They have the best Shrimp with garlic sauce in the area. I've tried plenty of different Chinese places in the area and none compare. Whenever I order a shrimp dish, the shrimp are large, cleaned and never over cooked. I did notice if you order the dinner special, the shrimp are sometimes smaller. The dishes still have great flavor nonetheless. The egg drop soup, egg foo young, yat gam mien, and Singapore rice noodle are all great dishes full of flavor. I order delivery a lot as well. The minimum for lunch delivery (which ends at 3pm every day) is $10 and dinner delivery $15. Always fast and delivery guy is nice. They are also open every single day except Thanksgiving. read more

I couldn't get away for lunch and wanted to find a place to deliver Chinese food. I saw the great reviews on Yelp for the Rice Kitchen and placed an order for delivery. I ordered bourbon chicken, shrimp toast and chicken wings. My food arrived within 45 minutes nice and hot. However, when I began to open and unwrap my order, everything looked strange. The bourbon chicken looked nothing like any bourbon chicken I've ever had. The shrimp toast looked burnt and tasted absolutely terrible. The chicken wings were the only thing recognizable. Im used to having great sushi from living in DC and Southern Cali for years. I think this might be one of the best sushi places in the area. Their fish is not only very fresh but they also give big cuts in their sashimi and rolls. More specifically their dynamite roll is dynamite, they make it exactly how i like it and very few places do it that way anymore. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place and the fact that they deliver make it a clear winner in my book read more
