I visited Kuki for the first time on Christmas Day 2021! I live nearby and always drove past it. I was finally going to give it a go! I LOVE Chinese food on Christmas so I was excited to try it...while also hoping it wasn't crazy busy. Since everything else in the shopping center was closed, the parking was great! This was during lunch time that I came. I ended up ordering both the small sized Chicken Lo Mein for $5.95 (always my go to dish) and a Sushi Roll combo with both a California Roll & Shrimp Avocado Roll ($7.95)! I placed my order in person and it was ready in I'd say about 15 minutes. I double checked my bag and everything was there so off to the house I went. I thought the sushi was pretty good, just kind of cramped in the package. Could tell it was fresh which was good. After enjoying that and using the ginger, on to the Chicken Lo Mein. The portion was good for the price, I wish there would have been a touch more chicken however. That being said, it was great! Flavor was on point and I loved the noodles. Had the all important savory notes with that slight sweetness coming through from the sauce. I would definitely come back to Kuki to try more of the menu options. read more

Kuki's Chinese is my go to place for delivery. It is difficult to drive past it and not stop for food. The brown sauce here is excellent!!! Kung pao dishes, especially the shrimp are five stars! The fried dumplings with cream cheese or Pork are also better than most other places. Steamed dumplings are a staple they do well. Crispy beef here is good, with very mild spice (and I often mix it with another dish to slice it up a bit). Portions are more than a single meal, but not enough for two. Prices are lower than downtown and value is excellent. Delivery in the neighborhood!! read more

For starters, I called in my order and was rushed off the phone without even being given a wait time or a total for my food.. Then I get there and it's so cold in this place that you can see your breath (exaggeration) but come on. A little older lady peeked her head out and said hi, but nothing else. Not "what would you like to order?" or nothing just automatically knew it was me who called which was red flag number two. We then get back to work with our food and the Mountain Dew bottle has floating mold in it, and expired in July of 2023. The food was just terrible. My chicken chow mein was slimy and bland, absolutely no taste. Don't even get me started on the rubber chicken. Moral of the story, this place is terrible. I'm more upset that I wasted money on this slop. read more

First time trying this place out and I was not disappointed. I ordered the lunch special general tso chicken with fried rice and my friend got the orange chicken with fried rice. We had called ahead and our order was ready soon as we got there to pick it up (about 15 minutes later). The lunch specials here are cheap ($5.95) and comes with an egg roll. The amount of food you get is a lot. So I'm not going to lie! Usually with Chinese carry out food, if I don't eat it all in the same sitting, it's thrown out (don't care how much is left over). This time, I decided to actually save mine. Later that day, I re-heated it (after being refrigerated) and surprisingly it was still good and I didn't feel sick the next day! That's a win in my book. Been ordering from Kuki for 16 years and have never been let down. The chicken and broccoli is great-lots of tender white meat. Also, beef with peppers and onions, Hunan anything is loaded with the good vegetables: none of that peas and carrot crap. Pork fried rice is yummy, as are the Singapore(curry) rice noodles. I do believe the owner of Kuki's hung up on me after I informed her that I ordered Gen'l TSO Shrimp meal in my order and I did not get it. She stated I canceled that order and I didn't. She stated she did not charge me for that meal and I told her ok, but that I did not cancel. She hung the phone up. Our first and last order. Wife ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. The chicken was heavily breaded and oily. The Sweet and Sour sauce had no sweet or sour flavor, it was just a tasteless sticky sauce. My General Tso Chicken had the same tasteless sauce and had no spicy favor or heat at all. The Egg Rolls had oil dripping out of it when biting into it. Just a waste of $20 dollars. I work about 3 miles from Kuki. I would have to honestly say, they make some of the absolute BEST Chinese food. Always friendly, very efficient, and very tasty! I never have to wait more than 15 minutes to get food for our office. I have tried several different foods from them, all great! I love, love, love this place! They have a separate menu "healthy choice" which is 100% vegan. This is good for me because I am on the road to making this decision and am searching for as many vegan or vegetarian friendly places as possible. I have eaten for over a year now, and both the vegi and non vegi food is great! Their sushi rolls are not very big, so maybe if you are looking for good sushi try another place. However, their sushi is very edible (and delicious) I would recommend it more for lunch or if you do not have a big appetite. The establishment is very clean and there is always someone there avaiable to help you. The employees have great customer service and are all very nice! We moved to the area six months ago and have tried most of the chinese food in the area since then. Today we had Kuki and it won us over for good. This is our place from now on. Hot and sour soup was awesome Egg Rolls were awesome General Tso's was awesome (although "hot" was barely hot at all) I would recommend against the Singapore rice noodles as the noodles don't quite have enough body to them. They were decent, but I wouldn't get them again. BUT OMG THE SZECHUAN GREEN BEANS ARE SO GOOD. They were the best thing we ordered. They were perfectrly cooked, intensely flavored, and will be included in every order we ever make in the history of our lives. My pickup order did take quite a while, about 30 minutes, but for the quality of the food, the wait was well worth it. I take it to mean that the food was actually cooked fresh to order. read more

Update: When the drive got to our door he gave me the receipt for me to sign and the whole order sheet. At the bottom of the order sheet is the my whole credit card information. Kuki uses a 3rd party to do their online orders and this third party passes the credit card information along. You are better off picking the order up yourself if you really like the food. Mediocre food, good prices, horrible customer service. I've been to Kuki a few times when stopping in the shopping center to buy groceries. Every time I do, I ask myself why I put up with the very rude young ladies that take my order. One in particular really hates her job almost as much as the customers that pay her salary. She never smiles and won't even respond when you do and offer her a friendly "hi, how are you doing?" She just glares at you and grabs a pen. On the rare occasion that someone from the kitchen pops their head out, the atmosphere quickly changes as those (older) women smile warmly and say hello. Today I order sesame chicken that was overcooked dry and the sauce was so salty that you couldn't even eat it n the egg drop soup that was god awful and the rice was so overcooked it was stuck together like paste and I called them back and complain they said they were going to send me everything new and it's been 2 1/2 hours and I still haven't received my food that's why I'm writing this review now and I normally have a good experience from this place but the past few times been worse and worse I know and if I could give zero stars I would but It won't let me read more

I had to give a bad rating based on tonight's experience with my delivery order even though I previously would have given a much higher rating based on past history. Tonight I ordered Kung Pao Chicken and it did not contain any peanuts. I called to register my complaint & the hostess had an audible Asian conversation then came back online and told me the chef said they were on the bottom of the dish. I explained that there were no peanuts at all in the dish & another audible conversation resulted in the hostess telling me that the chef said he only put in one shake because I ordered the combination box. I reiterated that there were absolutely no peanuts in a dish that is supposed to be made with peanuts. Finally tried this place a couple weeks ago -- I always see it when I'm at Santoni's. I am very happy to report that they deliver! We got a few different sushi rolls, including spicy tuna and Philadelphia. The Philadelphia tasted a bit bland (did they use low-fat cream cheese?); the spicy tuna was fine. Delivery is fast and food is good. The lunch special is very inexpensive and have lots quantity of food. A full meal for just like $5.

This place came recommended but ended up being a complete waste of money. We ordered chicken and broccoli and shrimp fried rice. The chicken was "rubbery" as if it had been over cooked and sitting for hours. The shrimp fried rice was extremely light in color so I was hesitant to try it...especially after tasting the chicken. The food is okay for chinese food in the area. Only thing is they don't comprehend English very well, which if you're going to own a restaurant in America at least have one person who can write down the correct order. Our order was pretty big 50 dollars and probably half of it was wrong. I can understand maybe 1 to 2 things but half come on. Have been to this place a number of times for take out with decent experiences until tonight. Ordered Garlic Chicken with veggies... Chicken significantly under-cooked to the point where it was still slimy and absolute rubber as well as pinkish... Didn't discover until we drove home and sat down for dinner that this was an issue, egg-rolls, fried rice was fine... Called Kuki to inform them that chicken was undercooked and inedible. I simply wanted a refund for what was inedible. Manager wanted picture texted to cell phone and meal brought back for inspection by "Chef". What? Their final response was to bring it in tomorrow so determination could be made about my refund... I really don't care as much about my $14 I wasted on these 2 dinners, it's more about this restaurant having such little sense to try to retain a regular (but currently unhappy) customer over $14... Great food, good prices. Food was very good (Chicken, vegan, rangoon, etc) although I caution against ordering beef dishes as the beef is too "velvetized" and has a strange rubbery texture and taste. Other dishes we ordered were fantastic!!! The cooking staff stepped out to give us our order when it was done and they were as sweet as could be. Sadly, the young lady who took our order (I think she was a family member and spoke perfect English) was absolutely horrible and rude. We placed our order in person and practically had to beg the young girl to take the order. She was more interested in listening to music in her earbuds. The only eye contact she made was to roll her eyes when I asked about a menu item. She never smiled or said "thank you," which is okay as long as you seem willing to take orders from customers so that they can patronize your restaurant. I ate there about a week ago. I decided I'd give them a shot the menu was full of selections. I ordered the Singapore rice noodles since i knew if i didn't finish them my girl friend would. I also got spring rolls and egg rolls and the crab ragoon. We got back to my friends house and I open it all up. the Singapore rice noodles were clearly made wrong. 1. no egg. 2. seemed to use that BBQ sauce or used red curry that tasted horrible. But i gave it a shot. Had a few bites and set it aside because it didn't even taste like Singapore rice noodles. So I went to try the crab ragoon it was good just like how the Chinese place down where i use to live made it, it was delicious, but I could only have one and passed it off to my friends. then my girl friend hands me the spring roll and say sorry I cant anymore. So I took it thinking ok maybe she isn't that hungry and that is what I was gonna try next anyway. I take one bite. Stood up. Walked ten feet to the trash can. Spit it out threw the rest away and returned to my seat. The taste of the spring roll was horrible. It had a bit of a rotten taste to it. I didn't even want to try the egg roll. So i went back to the Singapore rice noodles, after drinking 2 cans of coke to get the taste out of my mouth, which it didn't, i had a few bites of it and pushed it aside. The combination of the taste of the poorly made Singapore rice noodles and the spring roll made my stomach turn. So I don't know if it was a off night for them or if there was a new cook. Seeing the positive reviews on here tells me they are doing something right. And they are very nice people. But because of the experience I had with them i will not be going back. read more
