Wanted a nice dinner out with my family and in laws and it was just, eh. Most of the night, the drinks were empty. 4 people got ice tea and we got told they ran out and we could have water (it was like 6pm). Main Street Tavern was just fine for a quick lunch stop in the middle of a long drive. A few interesting local beers were on tap; since I'd seen over a dozen armadillos-as-roadkill on the way I really had to try the Dead Armadillo Amber. Nice looking, popular place or at least it was when we stopped there for lunch. Service was pretty decent. My wife's fried green tomato blt was really good, however my medium bacon bleu burger was more well done as was the burnt bun. No matter I ate it anyway since I didn't feel like waiting for it to be remade. The manager did come by after we were done eating and asked about the food. The atmosphere was dark and intimate making for a very relaxing meal. Our waitress was attentive but not overly which was nice. She was polite and efficient, asked about how our meal was and so did another gentleman. She also asked if we wanted a water to go. I feel like that sweet question is something you'd only get in a small town. It was so kind of her to ask. We declined as we have water in the car. The quiche was somewhat dry, but tasty, I used the ranch dressing to give it moisture and ate it with salad bites and then it was fine. The salad was fantastic! My husband said the Bloody Mary was outstanding but he wouldn't order the Southwest Eggs Benedict again because it lacked character & flavor. Was craving a late night burger after a long night of driving all the way from Colorado. I brought my brother in laws with me and saw the bar so it was a no brainer we had to have a drink too. We called ahead for our party of 10 and we were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly empty- only 3 other tables seated. Almost two hours later we were leaving- the food was not great, service incredible slow, we waited a full hour for our food after ordering, my hot wings were just barely warm. When our ticket came we were charged for someone else's food but at that point we just paid it and moved on, needing to get to an appointment. I often eat at Main Street Tavern in Broken Arrow and enjoy every visit. I will not be visiting the Claremore location again. read more

We were given a moldy pretzel! We unfortunately ate the entire thing, until my dad spit out a section of the pretzel, which was moldy. Disgusting! No restaurant should let this pass through the kitchen. Additionally, our steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, was burnt all around the edges. Our waitress was great, apologized and everything, and the pretzel was taken off of the bill. It has been a few years since I had visited Main Street Tavern. We went for a late afternoon lunch after visiting a local craft show. When you first walk in the foyer there was bit of a smell and not a pleasant one. We didn't notice it after being seated which was good. The our waitress was on her last day of training and she was great! She was polite, full of smiles and very friendly. We can't say the same for her trainer who did t smile much and seemed kind of short. But our service did not lack at all so maybe she was not having a good day. We started off with the mozzarella sticks. They are beer battered and served with a delicious marinara sauce. They were large as well. They were a little greasy but still quite tasty. For our meals we had the chicken club with avocado, fried green tomato blt, and tender platter with Buffalo sauce. The chicken tenders were huge and wonderful! The chicken sandwich was very good as well. The blt was just okay. The fried green tomatoes had a thick breading and it took away from the rest of true sandwich. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING!! Could have just had those and been happy! Last my daughter order the apple pie ala mode without the ala mode! It was hot and topped with caramel sauce. There was not a bite shared or left so I assume it was a good as it looked! All in all we will visit again. read more

Went here for my sister and niece's bday for dinner. Weather was great, we sat outside. Were seated quickly. Waitress comes and takes our drink order and then 15 mins later to take our food order. My concerns-apps came out all diff times. Ordered Artichoke dip which I recommend, pulled pork tater tots, was decent. Ordered Nachos with Steak, it came out when the dinner entrees came out, was not served warm felt like it was sitting as the nachos were already soggy. We were given plates but no silverware, I had to wait for the waitress to pop out again so I can request it. The dinner entrees took a while to come out. The meatloaf I ordered I felt was overglazed and a bit on the saltier side. I was full from the apps that I only took a few bites just to try and then packed the rest for home. We ordered two draft beers and it did not come out until we were ready to leave. I had to remind my sis to make sure to check the bill if it doesnt come out as we had already paid for it which they were quick to give us right after serving the entrees. We were never asked how things was going and if we needed anything. Had to request for condiments and thankfully no one needed water. It was a bit disheartening to feel forgotten about not sure if it was due to it being the end of the night but for it not to be busy we felt overlooked. read more

We have been here several times, not sure why I've not reviewed them- maybe it's because the food is so delicious I forget to take pictures. The smell from outside was delightful, it was even better when we got inside. The staff is always kind and pleasant, the atmosphere is cheery with lots of tvs to watch. There is seating to accommodate large and small parties and a nice bar to sit at along with outside patio seating. I've had several items on their menu over the years, my favorites are the meatloaf and grilled tuna salad sandwich- it's spicy! My husband likes the bread pudding, it's a huge portion! We come to this restaurant every time we fly into Tulsa. It always delivers exceptional quality and flavor. The chimichurri hanger steak is the BEST I have had! It has a nice char on the outside and it so tender and flavorful. The mozzarella sticks and steak nachos were bomb too (even the salsa was really flavorful). Potatoes were cold, green beans were cool , waxy and distasteful. Asked for medium rare and ended up with one half burnt , other half was medium rare (I guess). It too wasn't good. Just moved to the Claremore area for a short term assignments. Showed up here Friday night for dinner. Our waitress, Miranda, was outstanding. She took time to talk to us about the restaurant and the food. She took our order and treated us right all night. Our food showed up about the same time the 40 some people walked through to the sectioned off area for them. The restaurant is nice and cool, dark and inviting with a bar a mile long. It's the type of place I imagine Bogey and Bacall would have been seen having an intimate lunch back in the day. It invites quiet lingering looks if you're with a dame, with deep conversations over good food. I had the Big Frank burger, which was amazing. I have never had a burger with a fried egg on top and now I wonder what other things I have been missing out on. The wife had a Cobb salad which she really enjoyed and we split a giant pretzel. The Mac and cheese was 20$ when you add chicken to it and was incredibly bland zero salt or seasoning whatsoever along with a portion size being insanely small for that price. My bf got the jalapeño cream cheese burger and again it was extremely bland and 14$ for a tiny amount of fries and a mediocre sized burger.
