The service is really wonderful. Ava was very sweet and always very attentive and polite. We appreciate her kindness and humility. The restaurant is very clean. It's also very clean in the bathroom and it's well decorated. There's so much culture with Thai artwork here. And the food is very good and the portions are great as well. They don't charge you for rice, which is a plus because some restaurants charge you for rice. Parking is on the street. I also appreciate that the music is played low and not so loud so that you can't hear your friends talking with you or you can't hear yourself and your ears don't hurt. read more

I don't know what's going on with Bodhi Thai Bistro, but it's not good. We've been eating at this place since it opened many many years ago. The problems lately have been bad. Making it so bad we won't be going back. I'll say, the food quality has been good. The service has been about the same since day one. Those aren't the problem. The problem are: - The food has doubled and tripled in the past few years! We know this because we've been regulars the whole time. We always save our menus and replace them every couple years. - The food portions have shrunk. You use to be able to eat off orders, like basil chicken or pad see ew. Same with the appetizers. The crab rangoon's are hardly filled anymore and tiny. Not sure what's going on, but until they change things we won't be back. I've frequented Bodhi more times than I can count . While the food quality is phenomenal and I've never ever received an incorrect order, the dine in service is just okay. The reason is largely due to its size, the layout and presence of a kitchen window which is reminiscent of a dining while sitting on a barstool. There's no buffer and little separation from the kitchen and dining area. Add to that I am not a fan of a sheet of white paper spread across linens. On the upside, there's much to be said about dining at a place where you're recognized as a regular and your order is remembered, if I had to guess, their takeout business is more active than dine in. read more

Haven't had Thai food in a while, so we decided to go to a new place other than our usual. The interior is rustic with statues and decorations, much like I saw when I visited Thailand. Service was quick, and the food came out quickly. We got the lunch special, which includes one entree, an appetizer, and a soup of the day. All this for just $11.95 is a great deal, even if it is from a shortened menu. The soup was actually a highlight with its flavor being similar to a chicken noodle, but slightly different and an excellent contrast in texture with the crispy in the soup. The pot sticker was nicely fried but didn't have too much flavor on the inside. The flavor of this dish was mostly just from the soy based sauce it came with. The egg roll was actually worse, though. I get that it is all vegetables on the inside, but I expected some sort of flavor. Massaman curry was the main entree, and it was quite good as well. I was a little let down by the small amount of curry included with the dish. I feel like more curry would have made the flavors pop more. Overall, it was a good dish with fresh vegetables and your choice of meat, but the curry itself was a bit too diluted for my personal preference. I prefer my curry to have more of a punch. With that all said, this is a great option for a lunch for the price alone. I'll try the dinner options next time for a chance to taste the differences, if there are any. Give it a try! read more

I've ordered from Bodhi for a few years now; I always order the same thing. I order the Basil Fried Rice with added tofu. I have found none better elsewhere. On my recent visit, I tried something new the Red Curry and the Green Curry; both delicious. Now I have a new dish to put in rotation. Came here on a whim for dinner on Memorial Day and we were pleasantly surprised at the taste of our food. Prices were typical. We found the Pad See Ew to be to cooked very well. I asked for medium hot and didn't find it to be that spicy, so I can tell their spice level definitely caters to non-thai people. Celebrating the move of my young friends to their new house we order from here as we were all hungry after getting the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen usable for their first night at their house. Really surprised in a good way!! Fast delivery, good food, and plenty. Our go-to place for over 15 years. Excellent standards - pad thai, panang curry, crab rangoon - and some other less expected dishes that have become standards for us. We order out most often, but dine-in is a nice experience (and BYOB!). Only complaint is that we often think to order Thai on Tuesdays for some reason, but Bodhi is closed that day. If you're looking for fairly priced Thai food, this is the place! Bodhi has an incredible lunch special! For $11.95, you can pick an appetizer, get the soup of the day, and an entree. There are lots of options for entrees ranging from plates to curry and noodles. Their normal menu prices are also very reasonable. For the lunch special, I ordered the eggrolls and pad thai; the soup of the day was tofu and rice soup. I personally did not like the eggrolls. Despite being a lunch special entree, the pad thai serving size was generous! I couldn't finish all the food. I would note that the pad thai is a bit on the sweeter side, but otherwise very good. The interior is clean and well decorated. The staff are friendly and fast. But most importantly, the pricing is amazing and the food is decent. This is probably the best Thai restaurant in this area - taking into account both food and price. Definitely will be back to try more! read more

I used to live near the area for 10+yrs. I would always order take out, never dined in. Now we live farther away from this place but we missed the food and decided to down it. WOW. What an amazing experience. Went in on a Sunday night with my two kiddos and husband. This place screams with cleanliness. Bathrooms, clean, atmosphere clean, dinnerware clean. Cups and utensils all clean! Usually we have to request new ones because they are filthy. But not here! I even drank for the glass cup which I never do. The food was beyond amazing! My husband got a beef stew and finished the whole thing! My kiddos ate all of their chicken skewers. We couldn't stop thinking of our amazing experience. 10/10 read more

We came here for lunch and took advantage of their lunch special. The inside decor was very nice and their service was great. The only challenging thing about lunch was finding where to park. I ordered my usual Pad Khee Mao and my wife ordered her Pad See Ewe. The lunch special came with their soup of the day, and an appetizer for each order. I chose their pot stickers, and my wife chose their crab Rangoon. Both were very good, but the crab Rangoon definitely hit the spot. That Thai sweet and sour sauce it came with was off the chain. My Pad khee mao was also very tasty. I always make sure I order it very spicy. The only thing that killed it for me was the bean sprouts. Not a fan and I felt like it took the flavor away from the rest of the dish. We then finished off our lunch with sticky rice and mango. Here they dye their rice green and add whip cream on top. They had a Valentines Day Special menu and it was delicious. Good flavor in their food. Service is slow. It's hard to consider leaving a 20% tip because service is so slow. They seat you and forget about you. Water refills were slow, asking for extra napkins was slow. Ambiance: the place is really small and if there is a crying child you are trapped.
