This review is a little late... I had to write it because of how fabulous Linnae is. Linnae stood out at one of the bridal fairs I attended. I was looking for a florist, but not just a floral shop that provided flowers, but a florist who could envision my dream wedding with me and bring it out to life. Flowers play a big part in a wedding. Not just the bouquets, but the floral pieces in the wedding ceremony and the event room create the feel of the room and the wedding. Linnae is not only able to help you design beautiful floral pieces, but she can also help you design your dream wedding, My work consumes a lot of my time, and so I had very little time to concentrate on my wedding preparations. I wanted to hire a wedding planner, but after some consultations I decided they were not worth the money (wedding planners are expensive). However, after telling Linnae my time constraints and concerns of wedding planning she offered up her services. She was fraction of the price and she did a fabulous job. She visited my wedding site, created my wedding pin boards, and her advice and opinions were tremendously appreciated. I would have wasted a lot of money on certain pieces that would have not given me the effects I wanted. Thanks to Linnae she made my wedding planning a lot less stressful. My friends who have gotten married before me stated my flower budget with Linnae was too high, but after they saw all the pieces created by Asiel Design, they ate their words. I spent a little more than I wanted to on flowers, but when I saw all the pieces come together, it was priceless. I definitely feel like I got more for the buck. We have used Asiel Design in the past and have had exceptional service and outcomes. This time was no exception! I hired them to host a prohibition themed 30th birthday for my wife at their warehouse. From the beginning of the process, Jonathan was very attentive to my ideas but also made suggestions that totally matched with what I had envisioned. I also gave him creative freedom to do what he thought would look best. (Artists really like that!) He also recommended a DJ (AVL Entertainment) that he had worked with that turned out to be awesome. Since this was a surprise party, I couldn't be as hands-on as I normally like to be in order to keep my wife from suspecting anything. No problem! Jonathan handled everything in the middle of what is a busy season for them with much larger corporate and private events. On the day of the party, we arrived to the venue which was set up from the front door all the way through. We walked in and were blown away at the beautiful, stunning, over-the-top and magical design. The warehouse was setup in a way that exceeded every expectation I had. The style remained usable and fresh. Drift wood and sea glass. Terrariums with sea urchins and dried kelp. When Bryce and I first met with the designer team we were soo nervous, Elissa was the person that was answering all of our questions, she introduced us to the owner and we sat down with her to discuss our wedding design, I knew what I wanted was going to cost us an arm and a leg so I decided to have a backup plan but the owner reassured me and asked me what is it that I really wanted and I told her and I was right, it was going to cost a lot but she started to give us her advice and guide us to a better option, tailoring to our needs and wants while making it budget friendly, I knew they had a minimum but she was soo great and worked around our budget which Bryce and I truly appreciate. They were quick to answer my questions and was there for us throughout the whole process with changes and adding other stuff. There were some DIY stuff that I made that wasn't displayed but it's ok they still make everything super beautiful, just look at the pictures!! After speaking to many many florists, I decided to how with Linnae for our wedding. She had some great ideas during our consultation, and she made great effort to work with our wedding budget. She has an amazing eye for design, and you could tell that she cares about having a "designed" look and that she has pride her work and her brand. This really drew me to her, and I was happy to book her. Linnae is incredibly busy though, and it was unfortunate that of the three appointments I had with her, all three of them were missed and/or rescheduled. Other than that, my bouquet need up beautiful, and her florists arrived on time at the Church and set up everything beautiful. She was flexible in waiving delivery/transfer fees if we picked up and dropped off things ourselves. The bridesmaids' bouquets were a little bit limp by the end of the day, but it was a long hot day, so no blame to her. The men's boutonnieres were a little small though, and I'll admit they left us wondering if we should have made those ourselves. Her sprays though -- they are amazing! She did a few sprays/arrangements for us to decorate the altar/sweetheart table, and our unity candle. Those were so gorgeous, and they were wonderful to keep and decorate our parents' house after the wedding. TDLR: Beautiful flowers and attention to design, all while willing to work in your budget. Linnae is a floral design guru and her artistic vision results in the most amazingly beautiful pieces. I booked her for my wedding and everything went beautifully. There were no issues with set-up/break down, etc. and all my guests were raving about how wonderful the bouquets and centerpiece a were. As for price, she is more than willing to work with you to lower the cost to make it within your budget. The only caveat to that is beautiful, fresh flowers are generally a little more expensive. I'm sure many brides can understand that the perfect vision will generally cost more than initially budgeted, but be flexible with your vision and Linnae will make it worthwhile. When looking at flowers for your event, the quality of the goods is directly tied to how much you are willing to spend. She's legit and if you give her the green light, you will definitely come out pleasantly surprised. read more

My husband and I got married on August 17, 2019. Because of Linnae and her team, our wedding was absolutely perfect. Even a year later, we are still getting tons of compliments on the wedding - from the altar design, to the table centerpieces, to the color scheme. Linnae of Asiel Design did a fabulous job for my wedding! At our first meeting, Linnae was so excited as she talked about what she envisioned for our wedding. The design was chic and modern, and matched what we wanted to the t! We had two big floral arrangements at the front of the aisle, as background when we had the ceremony, which were later transferred to behind our sweetheart table. Those were two marvelous pieces that everyone was capturing with their cameras. For our centerpieces, I had the idea of using baby's breath because I want a fluffy, wintry feel. At first, even I was skeptical about the idea, but at the prototype meeting, Linnae showed me variations that brought the concept to life! I used Asiel Desing for my daughter's wedding at Testarossa Winery June 2011. Our initial consult was exciting, they had so many ideas and we open to anything we suggested. Their "flower tree" was beautiful and really made the backdrop for the ceremony special, the pictures do not do it justice. Asiel Design was fantastic to work with and the flowers at my September 2019 wedding in Los Gatos were so beautiful! To start with, they were more reasonably priced than some other florists I explored and were very flexible and accommodating to my budget. Elissa and Linnae thoughtfully went through my proposal line by line and suggested areas where I could save money by creatively repurposing floral (for example, with their suggestion, we reused the greenery attached to the backs of ceremony chairs on the wedding party dinner tables). Also, my vendor visit at Asiel Design was one of the highlights of wedding planning. I had communicated my vision and color palette to Asiel ahead of time, and when I visited in person, Linnae was ready with a beautiful arrangement for me to see. Together, we swapped out a few flowers and selected the exact right vases for the centerpieces. On the day of my wedding, the flowers were delivered promptly and were very fresh despite the 85 degree heat! The flowers were absolutely perfect and even better than I had envisioned. I Emailed a message saying I was interested in a consult. I received an email back stating: "I do not know if you have already discussed a floral budget range that you are comfortable with, but we do have a recomended minimum of $4500." This immediately irked me, because they hadn't even asked what I was interested in yet. It seemed odd to open with. It makes it seem like they are more interested in your money than planning your day. I called their office to set up a consultation the beginning of March. I told them I was planning to make a decision by the end of March. I was told they had no room for even a 1 hour in store consult within the next three weeks. I asked about a phone consult. We set one of for today at 5:30. This morning I got a phone call saying that they had me down for tomorrow (um-check your calendar again) and that they have to cancel because they don't have an internet connection. Excuse me-You have how many stores and you can't get anyone to give me a consult in a three week timespan? Is an internet connection really necessary? She asked-again-if we could push it into April. I told her-again-that I needed to make the decision by March 31 as I was interested in another florist that is giving me a deal if I book by the end of this month, but wanted to know what Asiel offers and their ideas. My wedding is also coming up quick and I don't want to chance other vendors being booked should I not like Asiel's ideas. Her response? Well it sounds that florist would be a better fit for you. 1 star for a vendor that goes out of their way to let you know they only want your money, can't make time for a consult, can't get their schedule straight, and are too busy to give you proper-or any-attention. read more

The general design, along with the flower and floor arrangement were way beyond our expectation -- we saw many of their prior work and we went to many gorgeous weddings, and we came in with high expectations, but the moment we saw the design at our wedding, we were still amazed! I used Asiel Design for my Aisle décor for my wedding on June 5th in San Jose, CA. I couldn't have been happier with their services. I rented four of their beautiful Manzanita Trees, 2 for the entrance of my aisle, and 2 for the front stage where we were married. We also did their glass cylinder vases with floating candles down the aisle. it was BEAUTIFUL! also, I worked with Meg from their company - and she provided great customer service, always sending prompt replys to my emails and even though my order was small compared to the elaborate work they do for events - I feel she treated me the same as she would have any other customer. I used Asiel Flower Design for my wedding in Aug '05. We had THE best flowers ever, thanks to Linnae. She uses very exotic flowers with interesting combinations that blow your mind. She was relatively pricey then so I don't know what the pricing is like now almost 4 years later. The loses one star because she stressed me out by being a bit flaky. On the day of the wedding the bouquets were supposed to arrive at the hotel at a certain time. That time came and went and I was starting to hyperventilate. We were trying to call her, but weren't given the right number. Finally she arrived in time for us to grab the bouquets and head to the church. This review is so overdue...but I just got our video back and I remembered how AMAZINNNGGGGG and fabulous of a job Linnae and her team did. My wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and I am so glad I went with Asiel Design. For starters...about me - I spcyho-analyze every decision I ever make and do so much research to trully find the BEST of the BEST!! When I choose Asiel Design, I had already done so much homework that I knew I could surrender completely and let them design my wedding. So I didn't just get the florals, Linnae did everything! From choosing the linens, the lighting, the drapping, etc. I met with Linnae 2x. The first time was to give her an idea of my style and what I was "hoping" for, discuss color selections and what not. This info she took and created a couple proposals with different options for me to select from. I think this was the hardest part...because all options were absolutely GORGEOUS! After all was selected and done...I had nothing else to worry about. I walked in the day of my wedding and was just greeted with complete beauty!!! My favorite part was that they paid so much attention to detail and I felt the pride and love that went into her work. For example...I had mentioned to Linnae that I am obsessed with Rose Gold...and if the world was painted in Rose gold for the night it would be amazing. Well guess what...Linnae painted EVERY SINGLE leaf on all the florals in rose gold, as well as the manzanita trees ... everywhere I looked was painted in Rose gold and I could not have been happier. I am so happy with Asiel Designs work and grateful to have found a vendor who was so genuinely kind, patient, responsive, and most importantly, who's passion for their art shined through. Asiel design really helped us set the tone to our wedding. We wanted a non-traditional look (more dark and gothic with bright jewel tone accents) and Linnae did a great job at our consultation and gave us the look we wanted exactly, I uploaded some of her work here.
