Ordered the asparagus pizza. Very good, I recommend it if you want a pizza with an alternative to pizza sauce. I also ordered the chicken wings, which were overcooked but they gave a lot of wings for one order, and they have good flavor with a mild spiciness. There was one small cup of dressing included with the wings but I couldn't tell if it was bleu cheese or ranch. Delivery time was slow but come to find out from Grub Hub, Asparagus Pizza handles its own deliveries even though I placed the order through GH. But the driver was friendly. I recommend this place. A hidden gem. One of the best slices in Hollywood. They really load up on the toppings.

Price was good but my delivery order was pretty messed up. Ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and there were pieces of ground beef on it, as if the sandwich was topped with a meat sauce. That was pretty gross to me. I don't really eat beef so I might have enjoyed it better if it was something I was inclined to eat in the first place. Chicken wings were fine. I think this is a place for late night cravings. Nothing to write home about, but might really hit the spot if you get the right thing for you. read more

I ordered a pizza through GrubHub, it was estimated that it was going to take 45 to 55 minutes to be delivered. When an hour and 10 minutes had passed, I tried to contact the restaurant, but none of the phone numbers listed on Grubhub, or here on yelp, were working (one was a fax line). GrubHub themselves tried to contact the restaurant, but could not reach them. GrubHub had no choice but to cancel the order. 10 minutes after they canceled they delivery people came knocking on my door with my pizza (a full 30 minutes late), then spun with pizza in hand and left due to the order being canceled. This establishment needs to have better communication, they need to answer their phones, and they need to adhere to time limits. read more

This place is super hole-in-the-wall. We were headed to subway next door and when we passed this place, their huge yellow menu sign inside caught our attention. Being from outside the area, we decided to give it a shot. The young woman at the cash register suggested a small pizza and not the medium (as we planned to order) because it would be more than enough for 2 and she was right! The small comes with 6 average slices. We ordered it with pepperoni and each got a fountain drink; the total was only $20! For the price, the pizza was actually great! It was a bit greasy, hence the -1 star, but overall, it was delicious and pleasant. We dined in. The place is a bit out-dated but had kind of an "Italian" feel but with Mexican soccer on the tv. The place looked seemingly clean. There's also a small lot to park, but it looks rather busy because of all the other options in the small plaza. We parked on the street which has a meter. There seemed to be a variety of options on the menu, which seem worth a shot at trying. I noticed most reviews on this place are people ordering take-out, so clearly those reviews will be mostly negative because the food would no longer be fresh by the time of delivery. I would highly suggest eating in to have a better experience and get your money's worth. They have some great deals on the bigger pizzas (not sure if they're just for delivery), so it was relatively cheap to feed 50-75 people. So that makes one of their specials very nice. 2 slices of cheese pizza w/ one topping and a medium drink for $6.94 + tax. So that's dinner and tomorrow's lunch for $7.50? Really good deal. It's also just good pizza. Taste-wise, it's comparable to any of the big chains. Great student spot. Highly recommend. Not giving it 5 stars because the actual restaurant could use a facelift. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, an order of garlic bread, and a bottled water tonight. The food came quickly and the delivery driver was really nice but I wasn't impressed with the food. The Pastrami Sandwich was soggy, warm at best, and the meat tasted like packaged cold cuts. It wasn't at all what I was expecting for a $9 sandwich. The Garlic Bread was just as sad with two soggy pieces of bread that were very lightly coated in garlic sauce. It didn't really taste like anything. Granted, this was a late night order but still. The food was edible and didn't make me feel sick, it just didn't feel like it was worth the price. I was initially going to give one star but I decided to give a two star rating because this is a pizza joint and I didn't order their pizza. Hopefully those are much better. read more
