Negative experience with Aspen Environmental / Aspen Air Duct Cleaning, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Hired to clean dryer vent, arrived on-time and finished surprisingly quick, around 20 minutes. That following Sunday we tried to do laundry and the clothes came out absolutely soaked from the dryer. Tried to run the dryer multiple times and the clothes still came out wet. This has never happened before, use to be one cycle in the dryer and came out hot and dry. We knew this was a result of the "dryer vent cleaning". Called Aspen back the next day and informed them of the situation. They said they would send someone out. Took them eventually in total 3-4 times to come out over a period of 5 weeks before it was finally fixed. We did not have a single issue with our dryer before Aspen worked on it. Not being able to wash clothes for our family, including a 7-month-old baby, for over a month is an extreme inconvenience. Any parent would know this considering how many onesies babies go through. Eventually it was fixed and Aspen sent the full original invoice. I called Aspen to try to contest the invoice due to their error of actually clogging our dryer vent and the huge inconvenience they caused us for over a month. I feel like any respectable company would admit their mistake and comp the invoice considering it was less than two hundred dollars, but no they insisted that we had to pay since they had to send out people 3-4 times trying to portray that as good service, when they had to send out their own people multiple times due to their own error. Also I did not receive one apology or admittance it was their error, they made me feel like I was an inconvenience contacting them so many times trying to get their own mistake resolved. I was informed I called them 24 times. 24 calls just for them to come out only 3-4 times. That is not efficient or "service" at all in my opinion. Eventually they cut down the invoice to an amount that is in my opinion still too much, but is the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars. They also did a poor job of cleaning up after, see photos attached. I do not recommend Aspen. read more

Aspen was recommended by a very reputable HVAC company that just installed a new air handler and compressor at our condo. Although the technicians were pleasant, I was completely disappointed when they arrived without a ladder or drop cloths to protect floors & counters. The day before, the owner of Aspen called to say he had lost my information and thus we went over everything one more time to the number of vents, location, the type of system etc. Much to my surprise, the technicians thought my registers were on the floor and never bothered to bring ladders or cloths even though the register location was noted. Some vent registers were not even removed to vacuum the duct itself. I was told the whole process would take 2 to 3 hours. It wasn't even 40 minutes before they packed up and left. I am not really sure if this is standard in the duct cleaning industry, but I felt like $ 700.00 was too much money for what I observed and how well they were really cleaned. I took the time to research how their duct sealing process works, watched a This Old House video and was confident that this would solve the dust problem in my townhouse. $2000 later, the dust levels have not decreased and they did not provide a refund. I initially sent an email and they didn't reply so I called and was told I would receive a phone call and after a week nobody called so I called AGAIN. Horrible experience being up sold only wanted my ducts clean. Got me to buy their aeroseal for the ducts it doesn't work, response is horrible when talking to account manager, customer service is lacking no answer for a week then they tell you it's your fault and I signed a contract tough for me attitude. Disappointed used them 3 years prior used them again and are slimy pushing their new product. Don't use them. 2k dollars I lost in their scheme don't make my mistake read more
