I started digging deeper to find out that they were billing random things without going over care or plan of action or what was being billed. One thing on the itemized list was listerine. Why bill that if I could refuse it and get it at the store? And then a few other things weren't even relevant to my care at all. When calling to cancel, who I was talking to got really snappy with me. I was already told in a previous call that it would be canceled. They didn't do it so I wasn't exactly happy about having to call again. When I told them, again, I wasn't happy about how I was billed she told me I could talk to a doctor. I said "it's okay I am going somewhere else." In which she replied "I think the doctors here know more than your sister who just works a front desk." I told her it was my SIL who is a dental hygienist and so she knows what she's talking about. In which her final response was, "fine, then you should go to her. Byeeeeee." And then hung up on me. Not professional, not someone who should be at the front desk talking to people. I'm now understand why the reviews here are garbage.

The Motto states "If you don't love your results once treatment is finished, simply contact your doctor and you'll get up to two bonus sets of aligners to put the final touches on your smile." So slightly frustrating and wouldn't recommend. I would recommend checking any other dentist office before going here.

Almost every review has a response from Aspen, which is an apology. Why would a dental company with many locations need to make so many apologies? Here's one reason why. Before I explain, I would like to say that the Hilliard location has a receptionist named Leatha. I hope I spelled that correctly. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and super pleasant to deal with. Aside from that, my experience was a complete nightmare! First, the financial part. Don't trust the magician Chris Trainer. While he's throwing numbers around and preparing documents with figures you believe will be manageable, he'll be waiving his fingers and distracting you while you are signing something that isn't what he's explaining to you. I live on a fixed income from SSDI. I'm not exactly sure what my insurance paid. More than $7000, though. My part was another $7000. The total monthly payments were $210 per month, 10% of my monthly income. The dentist, who looked into my mouth for 15 seconds during the initial exam, pulled all my teeth on my second visit. He forced the temporary dentures into my mouth before the local anesthesia wore off. He told me there would be no pain and to leave them in overnight, and sent me home choking on blood and saliva, unable to close my mouth. The fit was so poor, and the pain was so intense that my nose ran and my eyes watered continuously. I had to remove them at 3 am, so i could fall asleep. I spent the next four months picking bone splinters out of my gums and eating soup and soft food, and learning how to chew with my gums. When I returned after six months to have permanent dentures made, I was informed that the temporary ones were the permanent ones. They were just going to realign them to make them fit. After two unsuccessful attempts at realignment, I was to return to have a new upper set made. When I arrived at this visit, a payment of $1200 was demanded, which I did not have nor would I have paid if I did have it. I was supposed to have had functioning teeth at that point. I may have been inclined to pay a portion of the balance owed if they'd held up their end of the arrangement. Needless to say, I was infuriated, and this visit did not go well as they refused to proceed. I'm not sure what I'll do at this point. Now I owe $3000 to the finance company, $3000 to Aspen, and I have zero teeth. My advice to anyone who wants to hear it is a follows. If you need our want dental work done and you have any other choice besides Aspen Dental, choose the other option. If your only other option is knocking out the teeth that hurt with an ice skate blade and a rock like Tom Hanks in the movie Cast Away, then I hope you are a skating enthusiast.

Sent a letter to my home. Because I told the woman that I was in pain, and I couldn't wait until April 2nd for a root canal. Oh, and that's after the insurance verification process included them reading ALL of my personal information out loud on the phone in front of the entire waiting room (which was full) - can you say HIPPAA violation? My social security number, my mother's, loud and clear. I could hear the information from the corner. Loud mouthed, and ignorant. The staff did nothing to help me. When I say avoid at all costs, I mean it. Skip aspen dental and search up one of the amazing OTHER dentist's offices that are small businesses and where you're more than a number. Never, and I mean NEVER trust a chain with your care because all they care about is getting you in and out. They do nothing care if you are satisfied, in pain, this Aspen Dental would let you die on the table while they "verify your insurance." Sickening. And I am still in pain.

I spoke up and said I thought my tooth was going to be taken care of today. They stated, "No it was just a consultation for today." Then directed me to some lady for billing and setting up appointments. When I was talking to her she stated, "When I talked to you on the phone earlier I told you that it was only for the exam/consultation." This was a bold faced LIE! I corrected her and said that she called me and stated that my insurance was no longer valid and she said I would have to pay out of pocket. I then went over my insurance information with her and she was able to correct it. While sitting with her she stated that I would have to make an appointment for the extraction. The earliest they could get me in was Tuesday which is 6 days away! So... nothing done, I know this tooth needs extracted but the biggest thing is they didn't even give a suggestion AT ALL to help mitigate and ease the pain even if I would have made an appointment. WORTHLESS PLACE!

Not only did they NOT do that properly, they also insulted me quite a few times! I understand that I am older, and my teeth are not as chipper as they used to be in my younger years. But that is NO excuse to treat me like the dirt on the bottom of your shoe! My dentist was incredibly rude, insulting how I looked and claiming it was just a passing comment. Tsk. Tsk. I mentioned my husband Enrique during my visit, I was almost immediately judged and nearly shamed. I get it, it's not everyday you come across a proud, old, gay man. But what does shaming me for my pride have to do with cleaning my teeth? I feel like this is just poor treatment for someone my age, and my type. The office was beyond horrible, sure, a nice layout for the building. But the managers and office workers were INCREDIBLY rude. I felt like I should have been ashamed for wanting my teeth taken care of! This whole shabang of a business feels shabby, sketchy, and scam-filled. I've seen many others mention how they just milk you of your money for NO reason! I went to another dentist for the same thing and got it 80% cheaper than what these humbugs had their prices at. DO NOT go here, unless you want your money milked, your teeth feeling wrong, and being shamed for who you are. Marcus tells the truth.
