I felt so at ease here! Everyone is so great and knowledgeable! The office is so warm and welcoming!

I have never been to a more awful place in my life. Terrible dentistry, short staffed, no hygienists available... just horrible. I've had 6 appointments (for me and my son) cancelled and no openings for 3 months. Then I finally have a scheduled appointment and I show up with my son and the place is empty! Everyone is gone, door locked, phones don't work, and no one will answer my emails and voicemails. DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. They also charged me 5x what it costs for an unusable mouth guard. SAVE YOU TIME, MONEY AND SANITY. Find another dentist!!! read more

I would not go to this place. They told me I have periodontal gum disease and that I need to do this very expensive treatment plan. I would have paid $800 out of pocket. I went to another dentist and they said my gums are fine and completely healthy. There is no reason why they told me this besides for some $$$$. Don't trust your bill from them. Always get second opinion. Also, the desk lady could barely explain to me my bill, what the procedure was I was being billed for & why it was so high. Nor could the hygienist explain what the procedure was going to be. The hygienist also told me I was going to get medication put into my gums? But she was also "very unsure." I think a $800 treatment plan deserves one to be very sure of what they are doing!!! Imagine if I fellow through with this treatment plan (for a gum disease I don't have).... They are disorganized, disorderly, and need training. Just make sure you get a second opinion!!! read more

RUN, do not walk away from this place if you have ANY kind of phobia or CPTSD. In spite of what their website says, these people have no real training in how to handle phobias. The staff at Aspen were made aware of my issues at the time my appointment was made, again when I filled out the intake paperwork (which was clearly not read by the dentist), and again verbally by me when I was being taken back to xray. This appointment was scheduled for Dec 23 at 10 am. They had PROMISED me that they could address my problem and "do it all in one day". It was scheduled as an "all -day" appointment. I did A LOT of mental and emotional work to be able to have the courage to come in. I walked back a panic attack moments before I entered the building. I arrived early and brought everything I was told to bring from the website. I was polite and calm although VISIBLY uneasy and frightened. Tessa the assistant was great and assured me they would get me fixed up. I was doing fine until Dr. Addison came into the room. I said out loud that this was where I was starting to get nervous. He barely introduced himself before walking behind me (out of my range of vision) and talking about xrays I couldn't see to the assistant as if I weren't there. He didn't really talk to me as a person until after he had his fingers in my mouth. After all this, a treatment team met (without me) and then came into the room to inform me that their lab tech didn't show up. I was then told to wait while they made a treatment plan. I waited calmly for them to come back and asked for my mother to be in the room. The first thing they tell me is that they CANNOT do it today because their SINGLE LAB TECH did not come to work. THIS WAS THE ONLY REASON I CAME - TO HAVE IT ALL DONE IN ONE DAY. Of course I had a breakdown. Who wouldn't? Knowing my condition and fear, why would you not have rescheduled when the tech didn't come in? Why would you wait until after I did all the mental work (totally worthless now) and you had your hand in my mouth (major trigger)? Now I am sitting here two days before the holidays with a HUGE PTSD flare-up which has caused stress hives (also pre-charted!) and a brand new gap in my teeth that makes me not want to speak with anyone. My holiday is more or less ruined along with my self esteem. Yes. I got upset. I yelled and said they were a bunch of liars and left the building. I probably swore too as I was ABSOLUTELY DEVISTATED and felt totally betrayed. They literally made my biggest fears come true after assuring me they would not. They have made NO attempt to reach out to me, but they have told my mother that they will no longer accept me as a patient because I was "too rude". I did not assault anyone, I did not damage anything, I simply yelled and left, but they "are really good at helping people who are scared". Right. Good at ruining any work they had to do to even show up. They also failed to return a call from my husband who called to ask them why I was so upset. Yes, I did yell. I said they lied to me - which they did, however THEY undid MONTHS of mental and emotional work, failed to keep an important promise, left my mouth in WORSE condition than when I went in, failed to apologize (just give excuses), and then to top it all off, BLAME ME AS "RUDE" for having a breakdown they caused. Thanks for ruining not just my day, but our holidays, and making any work I have to do to address my dental issues a thousand times harder. You've proven that my distrust of dentists is 100% accurate. (Dentistry is the LEAST regulated medical specialty. Please be careful with your teeth!) ETA: Please research "predatory dentists" and the large number of class action and state lawsuits against Aspen Dental for malpractice and deceptive business practices if you are still considering using this business. Also, if you have had work done here, please visit another dentist to be sure your work was indeed necessary. read more

Stopped by at 11:55 today but the door was locked. Tried calling g the number on the door but it didn't work. Went to the website and called the number listed but there was no answer. As I hung up a patient exited and I stepped inside only to be accosted by a Staff member.. I was abruptly told they were closed for lunch. This staff member clearly wanted me out so I left. Their loss. I wanted to check on cleanings, x-rays and a crown that I need. Too bad. read more

My daughter and I have used Aspen Dental for years in another state and did not have a problem. So when we moved to Mebane we were delighted one was located here. We thought we would have the same great service our other Aspen Dentist provided. We were wrong. They were not attentive to my daughters needs at all even after she told them several times she had dental anxiety. She felt everything and numbing did not help. After numbing her they left her in her chair for 45 minutes before they came back in to check on her. At another appointment The 3-D scanner did not work and they continually placed it in her mouth for over an hour. They finally told her it wasn't working and she had to come back again. When her cap was placed in her mouth it was covered with sanitizer which tasted horribly. We will NEVER use Aspen Dental in Mebane again. Don't waste your time or money there. read more

My experience was not great I got a treatment plan I wanted them to tell me what my bill was going to be so I got the plan came back paid in full I was given some money back and wasn't as much as they thought. So made my appointment to get deep cleaning when I get there I told by the receptionist at the front desk that I owe some money from when I had tooth pulled and insurance didn't cover it I'm thinking why didn't they just take that out the money they give me back. Long story short they were trying to charge me with stuff that I already paid for so I just told I'm not paying any more money so didn't get the rest of my deep cleaning done which I had already paid for and the things we talk about doing to my teeth let's just say after the well went dry they were done with me. The dentist that worked on my mouth were nice but they will quickly say they have don't deal with the billing that's left to receptionist. I'm not happy with work that was done to my mouth all about money and when you are not willing spend anymore they show you door wish I never went and wasting my money. read more

Pay for service in full, and if have an issue they could care less. They won't give follow up service. Won't answer a simple question without scheduling an appointment. Call and there is no answer and leave messages for them to call back and they don't. Receptionist has THE worst attitude. Go elsewhere for Dental care!!! read more

Most disorganized , inept place I have ever been to and I have been to 3rd world countries. always forgetting everything about your procedures, never calling back for appointments , messed up my implants and wants me to pay additional beyond first agreed amount. Said that they would do away with said amount then billed me for it anyway. sending me to another one of their clinics ( first Mebane, ) in Greensboro, but when I go there they had no idea why i am there. and yet tried to get me to sign a document on a tablet saying I owed them yet even more money. I refused , they refused to see me if I did not sign it saying I owed it, so I walked out after telling them I will be contacting a lawyer. as I was driving away, He called me to tell me I had a 2000 dollar credit, even if he took that off the huge figure he showed me it is still well above what I was told last time I owed them, Done with them. I am going to let the lawyers Handle this one, and I have every document, receipt, email ect ever given to me, AS well as a disinterested witness to the phone calls and one visit to the office. read more

Made appointment for my 89 year old dad to have a tooth replaced that fell out of his current denture. Staff was friendly but process was totally inept. It's like an assembly line - we moved to FOUR different rooms. We sat in their "lounge" for 20-30 minutes with a very loud TV streaming a constant reverse mortgage commercial - torturous! When we finally got to the cost (1 1/2 hours later), all they had was an estimate to replace the entire top denture. When I asked about the cost for just replacing the tooth, they told me they would have to first take it to their lab to see if could be replaced. So they wanted him to remove his denture again, and wait a while longer for them to do this estimate. At this point, I told my dad we needed to go. All they wanted to do was replace the denture. I personally have been using Affordable Dentures in Burlington for the past two years, and it is amazing how much better they are. Do not recommend this Aspen Dental location at all. read more
