The installation went great. Fernando was a magician. He got the spa in the exact spot after recommending an alternate location to what we thought. It fit perfectly on the reinforced concrete pad. After the electrician ran the electric Fernando came out on Saturday to start it up and show us how run it and how to use the chemicals. Unfortunately, there was a leak. Fernando found it quickly (a broken fitting in the one motor) A minor repair but he did not have the part. He called up Aspen and got the part and returned. After some time he got it repaired and working perfectly. He put everything back together and we were able to use it that evening. Fernando went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. If your in the St.Louis area and in need of a spa...This is the place!!! We went to several different places, spending lots of time before a friend suggested Aspen. Their showroom is nice and the salesman, Dan Boelhauf was great to deal with. They build em' right there and can do whatever you want as far as cabinet colors and jets and so on.... My wife was super happy. I felt like it was a good price/deal compared to other tubs we looked at. Inked the deal and 6 weeks later the delivery guys ( Connor and Fernando) showed up and got to work. I write this review with regret. I don't normally write good or bad reviews. I am a brand loyal guy who gives benefit of the doubt. If I don't like a vendor I move to another. But I am so frustrated by this situation that I felt I needed to write. We put our Aspen Spa hot tub in 10 years ago. As others have said, the people are nice and it is good to support a local manufacturer. We honestly do not use the hot tub that much. Yet based on our experience you would think we ran it non-stop 24 / 7. In those ten years we have had to replace all four motors, two of them twice (6 motors at $400-650 a pop), the control panel and the heater twice. For comparison, my irrigation system runs on pumps. I have had to replace that motor once and it gets a much harder workout. My biggest issue is that three times now when they have come to replace a motor...within days of replacing that motor another motor will go out. The most recent replacement resulted in another motor going out the very next day. If this had happened once I could imagine it to be chance. But three times? I am convinced it is something to do with how they drain, work on, refill and restart the system. My wife just wants to get rid of the hot tub. When we created our backyard space we built a place for a hot tub. Our frustration with the quality of our hot tub experience is causing us to consider just repurposing that space. It is sad and frustrating. I want to have a hot tub and want to use the space as designed. Aggravating to say the least. Last time I called they said it would be 9 weeks before they could get someone out. It turned out to be 11 weeks. Today I called and they could not even tell me how far they are scheduling out yet. I wanted a good experience. I have given it a good 10 year try....it has been a very frustrating and EXPENSIVE 10 year experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Aspen Spas and the primary reason is the longevity of the motors and the service that (at least in my case) results in more problems. read more

Many phone calls and emails to Aspen Spa regarding the unlicensed vendors they recommended that will cost me thousands of dollars to correct a bad vendor, Discount Spa, Gary Sanders, Broward County. My parents had bought a spa at Aspen 10 years prior and insisted that when the time came for us we should look nowhere else but this local shop. Sales process was low pressure, and in the end custom ordering the spa with the exact features we wanted was exactly what we needed. From order to delivery was about 3 weeks, and install was perfect with a good intro to chemical management. Installation was fast and we had great instruction on chemicals and what to do to keep the water clean. I bought my hot tub from Aspen Spas just over 5 years ago. I was very impressed with the service and how friendly the associates were each time we came in for chemicals or supplies. However, our hot tub recently started malfunctioning so my partner called Aspen to see what the error codes meant. After playing phone tag, an associate decided to take it ipon himself to come onto my property while nobody was home to inspect the hot tub. Before speaking to either myself or my partner, this associate also took it upon himself to drain our hot tub and begin replacing one of the motors. When he was halfway through, he was able to speak to my partner & tell him it would cost $400 to fix...AND that he already started...with NO consent from anyone. We get home later & my partner finds the "bill" on the hot tub...for OVER $500...$541.72 to be exact!!! Fix the hot tub WITHOUT permission & charge MORE than you stated. Very disappointed in this business do everyone beware if you call even to just talk to them as they may take it upon themselves to enter your property AND do as they please without permission & expect you to pay whatever they charge! read more

I was a newbie in the spa tub market. Drove by their place on several occasions and after looking at the different models on their website I finally stopped in. Lee who was my sales person was very warm and friendly explaining the ins and outs of the different models even offering me a opportunity for a wet test. I was very happy and comfortable with them and purchased a Quattro GS. On the day of delivery the guys called ahead brought the tub in and set it in place. Although they offered to make the electrical connections to the unit and help me set up my electrican was not finished with the wiring so they checked the tub for level and explained the water treatment process then said they had a short class on Saturdays I could attend. All in all I was and am very happy with Aspen Spas and their customer service and look forward to a long happy relationship with them in the ownership of my Aspen Quattro GS spa. read more
