My wife asked another server the protocol of how we put our name down on a list or how we could get seated and she was told "if there was an open table just go sit down and a server would come to your table", we went and sat at an empty table. Another 15-20 minutes went by and still no one even spoke to us. If you want to enjoy a meal on the water save yourself some frustration and go elsewhere the only person there that has a clue is the bartender, he's great but he can't be everywhere and most of the servers stand around and chat. After waiting for some time, I went inside and spoke with the owner, Adolf. He came out to our table and briefly discussed menu options with us. I asked specifically about the fish and chips, as we were told some dishes were no longer available due to an earlier rush. He said he would go check on that for me--but he never returned. Fifteen minutes later, we still had not received any service. When the waitress came back onto the patio again, I called her over and asked when we might be helped. She told me she "did not see us there," which I found difficult to believe given the size of the patio. After that interaction, she did not return to take our order. I went back inside and spoke with the owner again, this time clearly frustrated. He looked me directly in the eyes, raised both hands, and said, "You can calm down now." He repeated it in a tone that felt condescending and dismissive. I responded, "Thank you for giving me permission to calm down," and at that point, I turned around, walked out, and left with my friend to dine elsewhere. I cannot comment on the quality of the food because we were never served. I can comment on the service, which was extremely poor. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the service a zero.
