Had breakfast with colleagues there while we were attending a conference. I had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs. The eggs were fine, but they literally ladled out the gravy with a teaspoon I don't think I got more than two teaspoons of gravy on each biscuit, then they sprinkled some sausage on top of the gravy. They were sausage crumbs. They called it their southern breakfast, I call it away not to get repeat business. read more

Ordered here through DoorDash one morning and was very happy I did! I got the short stack of 2, hashbrowns and bacon. My girlfriend got the house potato's and scrambled eggs. We both enjoyed our food so much and the presentation was great. I will say, I did wish I had ordered the 3 pancakes instead of 2 but it was still wonderful! Will def order here again! Place is smallish and probably gets very busy on weekends. Clean and airy with large front windows. Service is prompt and friendly. Food is decent but my corned beef was entirely too salty. Spouse got the patron favorite plate(?) and it's a lot of food. Rather than the traditional south Texas pinto beans they served baked beans (English style)? My biscuit had a weird texture and was rubbery. I still plan to go back to try something different perhaps sometime off the Mexican breakfast menu. In particular I'd like to try the menudo. read more

My husband and I just had lunch at Patron Breakfast Diner. The place is beautiful inside, very cozy and pleasant. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The menu has a lot of different options to choose from, we wanted to try everything! We ordered the banana nut pancakes, with fried egg and sausage patty and we also ordered the pozole. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious! Super recommended! The eggs were good, and the sausage was delicious, you can tell it was homemade. Their coffee is excellent, make sure you try the Cafe de olla. The pozole was so good, very comforting, and with all the fixings it is to die for! We will definitely comeback to try everything if possible! read more

12 of us from Colorado ate breakfast here, we all enjoyed our meal from chocolate chip waffles to omelets with texas chile on top. The hashbrowns were delicious. There was a very talented musician outside of the restaurant playing music. It was quietly brought in to the speakers in the restaurant. I'm sure that all of the staff are wonderful, but we had Kelly who was so funny and great, she made the meal extra special. Will definitely be back next time we are in Texas. read more

First time coming here for my birthday breakfast. Amazing flavors, very authentic and delicious food. I had the chorizo and eggs. I asked for hot sauce and was given a green sauce that was awesome. The coffee is wonderful. The service was excellent our waitress Ana took great care of us. The ambiance is casual. This place stays super busy. I would definitely recommend and would go back when in the area. Great variety of desserts, cookies, ect... a gem in a small strip but they really need a larger place for the people who were waiting to get in. Great job! read more

I have driven past this restaurant many times and wanted to give it a try. It is regularly recommended on Facebook and has good reviews on Yelp and Google. Looking at the menu, it's a mixture of Tex-Mex and American standards. Given the name of the restaurant, I thought I'd try my go-to breakfast order when sampling a Mexican restaurant for the first time, huevos rancheros. It's simple and easy to make. If they can't get this right I usually won't come back to try anything else. So, how did they do? I will say they have an interesting take on it. The salsa that was poured over the eggs was similar to a New Mexico red not bad but not my favorite. The refried beans were covered with, what I'm guessing was, Oaxaca cheese. Again, something I find unnecessary if the beans are good. The potatoes were fine. If you want tortillas with your meal you have to pay extra. With the explanation being that the eggs are already sitting on a corn tortilla so additional tortillas aren't needed. I went ahead and ordered some tortillas. The tortillas I received would have made Mama Ninfa cry, and not in a good way. One last minor complaint. When you get your bill you are required to pay a surcharge if you use a credit or debit card. I realize that a lot businesses have adopted this practice but isn't that supposed to be the restaurant's cost of doing business not mine. So in summary, will I go back? Probably, but I'll stick to the "American" side of the menu. read more

While I appreciate wanting to support local musical talent, there are so many other establishments in the area that play music so loud you can't carry on a conversation, it's a shame that Patron is now doing the same thing. Tried this place out as there isn't many breakfast places around. Starting w/ the hostess as we walked in acted if she was bothered, told us 5-10 minutes as she did the 4 groups behind us and it was 6 minutes not bad for it being very busy. I was there w/ 2 other colleagues, We pretty much were all on the same page, this place is average, nothing special, did have a little more variety than other breakfast places but it it is Latino/Diner in one. My meal was the biscuts and gravy, I liked the gravy, hard to find Pops home made, this was acceptable, however the biscuts were very very very dry, I also ordered a side of sausage patties, which came out almost cold, not even really warm. I'll go back to try other menu items but again my colleagues and I were on the same page. read more

As an insanely picky eater I am usually embarrassed to ask for my eggs scrambled well (as well as my bacon darn near charred) but not only did the server let me know she's had other patrons ask the same and we laughed about how we all say it almost embarrassingly. Staff is friendly beyond all out, nothing but smiles and can I get you anything? Food was prepared to perfection, hubby enjoyed his chorizo omelette as well. Patron was very clean and had a nice ambiance. The coffee was made very well. The Dovorciados plate had a rich assortment of flavors. The beans had a great flavor and the potatoes had a great kick. The yellow corn tortillas had an authentic flavor and texture. On top was a delightfully thick melted cheese slice with an egg. Both salsas were great, with their green tomatillo salsa being my favorite. Great balance of spice and flavor. The Grande Burrito lived up to its name! It came with a side of tomatillo salsa and a mix for greens. The contents of the burrito came together nicely and was nice to bite into. The flour tortilla had a good texture and flavor. The greens weren't the most outstanding thing on the plate. Coming to Patron was an overall high-quality experience with quick and friendly service. read more
