Growing up in Mililani this has become a favorite restaurant for us. I've had many meals here and have celebrated many occasions here. I love the fact that their food and service has remained consistent over the years. Everything on their menu is delicious!! If I have to point out a few recommendations, I'd recommend the: clams casino, jumbo shrimp salad, fresh caesar salad, cold antipasto plate, calamari, eggplant parmesan...I could go on and on for days!! I also must say they have a vast wine and beverage list if you're a wine lover like myself. If you still have room, they have a great dessert menu..my favorite is their tiramisu. I went to Mililani Assagio's for change of scenary. I've dined in at Ala Moana and Kapolei before. I got the seafood linguine pasta with red sauce. It was tasty. Also had Jumbo shrimp cocktail, Mozzarella sticks, Antipasto salad, filet mignon pasta. Okay, I didn't eat all this by myself. I had my family with me. For dessert, it was chocolate gelato which was nice and dark tasting. Also ordered Spumoni which had lots of fruit jellies and small chocolates. I wasn't so fond of Spumoni. I don't know if that's authentic Spumoni but I don't like fruit jellies they tasted like fruit cake. Sorry, I don't do fruit cake. The only reason I wouldn't return to this location is that their menu is different from Ala Moana location. I wanted crab cake and escargot (if available) but not available in Mililani. It even says on the menu which was depressing for me. They should just take it out of the menu. You know how you wanted even more because they don't have it feeling? On the positive side, we had leftovers to take home and their small portion is pretty big. read more

Pretty disappointed! Called at 4pm to confirm if they are open or not, they said yes but take out only and dine in on weekends. I said alright perfect, I'll call back with my order. Called back at 4:20pm to place a phone order and the person told me he could not place my order until 4:45pm. He told me the "tickets would pile up" if he placed it too early. So I asked, "ok so I call back in 15mins?" I was pretty upset at this point because really dude? Just take my order, it was just 15mins. I don't mind if the kitchen is not open yet. I get it. My husband actually wanted to just eat somewhere else because of that terrible comment from the employee. It was a huge inconvenience to wait and call back. I have 3 children, so as much as possible I try to plan and call ahead. Did not have some appetizer items available which is understandable at this time. Ordered osso bucco and it was bland my noodles were overcooked. I did not have any sauce and way too much noodles. Wish I snapped a picture. Salads were good. Again, pretty upset. arrived after 515pm to pick up my order and I saw that I was the only order placed so far. We don't dine out but we were celebrating an occasion and was really not happy I had to call twice just to place an order, especially at a time where I assume restaurants are struggling to get business. My take-out also didn't come with any forks or knives, which you'd think is pretty standard if you're spending $80+ on take-out. read more

Husband and I went for our anniversary. My mom was watching our 4 kids so we wanted to go somewhere close by. The server was ok, nice. She didn't ask if we were celebrating anything though like most servers at other restaurants do. We ordered a couple of drinks and calamari and clams as appetizers. After she put in our order our server came back and asked us to order dinner because the kitchen was "closing in 3 minutes". We got there at 7:45pm and didn't realize they close at 8pm due to covid-19. We don't like to rush when eating out and like to finish our appetizers before our entrees come out. If their kitchen is going to close exactly when the restaurant closes and they're gonna rush customers to order then they should stop seating people half an hour before that. When our apps came the calamari was missing one of the sauces we requested when we ordered. As a different employee walked by our table my husband said, "excuse me", because he was going to ask for the sauce. But the girl ignored him and kept on walking. I know she heard him because he doesn't have a soft voice lol. I guess she just didn't want to stop and help us since we weren't her table. The marinara that did come with the calamari was really watered down like they ran out and didn't want to open a new one so they just added some water. The ramekin also had sauce on the outside of half of it like they used the ramekin to scoop the marinara. Very poor presentation for a pricier restaurant. When our entrees came we were only half way through eating our appetizers. I ordered fettuccini alfredo with shrimp and my husband was torn so he ordered both the chicken saltimbocca and osso bucco. The osso bucco came out cold. We understand that it's precooked but it's like they just zapped it in the microwave for a minute cuz the kitchen wanted to close. We let someone know and he took it and microwaved it more for us . My alfredo sauce was really bland but my husband really enjoyed the saltimbocca. When we couldn't eat anymore we asked for boxes and packed up our food. Our bill was $150 + $30 tip (would've left more if we weren't rushed and ignored and our food didn't come out cold and microwaved). To me $180 for dinner is pretty pricy for a mediocre experience. I'd much rather have gone to Bravo's! Yea times are hard right now and restaurants are slow so to me they should be appreciating the customers they do have a little bit more. Assagio's in Mililani has been someplace that the family has gone to celebrate many special events- birthdays, anniversaries, etc. They have a great combination of customer service, tasty dishes, and value for amount of food. This trip for my stepfather's birthday was no exception. Seated a few minutes early for a 6 pm reservation, we watched as the restaurant filled up from a few customers to a nearly full house on a Tuesday evening. A couple of servers stopped by to say hi to my parents, who are regulars. We nibbled on a roasted red pepper with capers app and their yummy warm bread while we waited for a few more to show up. When they came, we submitted our dinner requests. I ordered a "regular" size chicken pomodori (pan fried chicken with bacon, onions, tomatoes, in a white wine tomato sauce) with pasta. Mmm, really hit the spot! Chicken, vegetables, pasta, with bacon! Haven't been in Assagio's in a bit, must have forgot how big their portions were! Maybe I had a big lunch or something, because I hardly made a dent in my dish! Ended taking it home, and it filled a standard takeout container! To our surprise over coffee and dessert drinks, they gave my stepdad a slice of mud pie. Between that and a spumoni, we all had enough of a dessert to top the meal off! When we were leaving at 8 pm, there were still customers waiting for a table! Delightful as always, will repeat and definitely recommend! read more

Had lunch at my favorite place. It was Valentine's day so no reservations were made so we had to wait for a table. It wasnt to long I say about 15 mins or so. Sat down and the waitress came and asked us if we wanted something to drink. I ordered ice tea and my husband ordered diet coke. Of course their bread was nice and hot. We ordered appetizer salami anchovies and cheese. Was very good. I had my chicken picatta and my husband had calamari linguine. I've been eating a lot of places that have chicken picatta but everytime I go to assaggios I always order their veal saltimbocca. But this time I'll try their picatta. This meal was missing something from all the other places I've been to and have eaten their picatta. I couldn't pin point what was missing was it not enough salt on the chicken the butter sauce wasnt lemony but whatever it was I felt it was ok. I'll stick to my veal. Had dinner with a party of 4 on a Tuesday night and made reservations prior. My friends have been here before but it was my first time. Service was great. Our server Colby was spot on and she helped with making my pasta decision. The food came out pretty fast as well as dessert. The bread was nice, warm, and soft. Water was always filled. Now the food. So many choices on the menu... I ended up having the Chicken Alla Sorrentino. It was pretty good, the chicken was moist and the eggplant hidden under the mozzarella added some juicy flavors. The sauce that was under the linguine was okay, could definitely taste the wine but maybe a little too oily for me? My boyfriend had the Shrimp & Chicken creamy pesto. The sauce was pretty tasty, liked it a little better than Bravo's. I guess you could say Assaggio's is just your casual Italian Restaurant. Casual wear, nothing fancy. Assagio's is an Italian restaurant located throughout the island of Oahu. This is a review for the Mililani location. (I have also dined at the Ala Moana Shopping Center). :) I love Italian food! I especially love really good and well prepared Italian food! The dishes here are amazing! For starters, we skipped the salad and appetizers altogether since we were famished! LOL! I ordered the New York Steak over linguine, medium rare, in a butter cream sauce! The steak was very tender, and very juicy. The linguine and the cream sauce were perfectly prepared! My BFF ordered the clam sauce over linguine! Like my dish, her dish was exceptionally prepared as well! Not only were there clams still in their shells (for presentation), but also generous bits of clams and garlic throughout her entire dish! Her dish was mouthwatering! All of the ingredients were blended beautifully! For dessert, I ordered the classic tiramisu. I love tiramisu and this one was no exception! Delicious isn't even enough to describe my dessert! And, as a bonus, it was a very generous sized slice! My BFF ordered the Spumoni Gelato! Her gelato was very delicious too, although I am partial to my tiramisu! Teehee..... ;) The Mililani location can be very noisy, as we noticed the moment we walked in! It was a full house, and there were people waiting to be seated. Luckily, I always plan ahead and made reservations, so we were seated at a quiet table, a more intimate setting, at the end of the bar! There were a few people seated at the bar, however, our seat was still quiet! We could have a conversation without the noise in the main room of the restaurant! (As a side note, if you are ever in the Ala Moana Shopping Center, this location is not as noisy, quieter and more intimate) Props to our server (I don't remember his name), who was warm and inviting! Met some high school classmates for dinner and it was good to get together with them again. We were there more for the company, so most of us just had a salad which was pretty good. The environment was very nice with white tablecloths and nice chairs. It was pretty cramped as the tables are pretty close together. As for the service, they forgot one item that we ordered, but our server made up for it with a free dessert. Or server was very nice. Overall it was pretty good. Was a bit hesitant going here but glad we did! I was craving for some pasta and was happy with the Carbonara I ordered. Yes it's a bit pricey but that for once is okay! Inquired about going in person and was informed that could be done but that there would be at least a 45 minute wait from order to having meal ready. After waiting in line for over an hour and 20 minutes, those in line were informed at 615 pm that no more orders would be taken until 7 pm. Yikes!!! Most likely would not have pickup til after 8 pm. However this time I tried the mililani location since I'm limited work and home during this crazy quarantine. My husband ordered the usual for me, veal piccata with extra capers and side Caesar salad. Sadly, it was not impressive. The veal was not breaded and looked like it was just boiled, the texture matched the look. Bland and chewy. The salad which i usually suggest to everyone for its fresh dressing and strong taste, was watered down and flavorless. Beyond upset and the one meal I've been looking forward to all week was a total flop. Will NEVER suggest this place. So unfortunately Assagio has gotten rid of their filet mignon, pork chop, salad with calamari and other things that I've liked alot in the past. I think this is a permanent change for us as we will probably not return. I happened to be in the mood for their buttery filet mignon that is soft enough you dont need a knife. Gone. My husband wanted the salad with calamari. Gone. My father in law wanted pork chop. Gone. Very disappointing meal as we got things we really didnt want for dinner. I cant even explain what the waiter told us as the reason why they got rid of the filet mignon. Laughable!! They have a huge page of chicken and a huge page of fish on their new menus. Absolute favorite Italian restaurant. It's quality food for a decent price. My go-to order is chicken and broccoli Alfredo with angel hair pasta. The minestrone soup is always delicious. The service isn't the greatest at the Mililani location but it's close to home o it'll do. I sometimes get takeout and they happily pack extra Alfredo sauce and extra bread for us to split. Have ordered take out many times from them. Ordered Chicken Asiago and small eggplant parmigiana.When I picked up ordered the cashier told me it was $59.05. I asked her again and she said $$59.05. I gave her $60 and said that's good. When I got home my wife said that seemed rather expensive. I called to confirm the price it should have been $51 something. Oh I had high hopes as this restaurant was recommended by a neighbor. First glance it's the nicest restaurant in Mililani, tablecloth tables and candlelight. We started with the Caesar salad which was served table side. Warning the ingredients included Tabasco souse which added an unnecessary kick. Then he added cheese, way too much cheese. The salad was not palatable. We ate it because I hate wasting food. The dressing was like a paste on the lettuce. My son had the lasagna which lacked depth of flavor. My husband had the clams casino which also lacked flavor. The only saving grace was my dish, the calamari steak scampi which was perfectly cooked. I do also appreciate they offered each entree in two sizes. The small size was just right. The full menu was ridiculously long which makes me wish they would just do less better. Considering the lack of good restaurants in Mililani, we agree that it might have been our selections that failed and are hoping is not a reflection of the menu as a whole. My dish was 4 stars, my son's and husband's were 2 and the Caesar is 1/2 star at best. However the restaurant is nicely decorated and the wait staff were on point so it wasn't a total bust. read more

Came here for dinner with my grandparents. Everything was great. We made reservations a head of time, got seated immediately. Waiter was on top of his game, very helpful when explaining the menu to us. Our water glasses were always refilled. One thing I love about Assaggio is they offer a small or a large portion.
