It's conveniently located right off the freeway and very near to wal-mart. There were sufficient parking spaces and not a chaotic parking lot despite the fact that I visited during lunch time. I ordered the Mushroom burger (well done - please don't judge) and a full house salad with creamy, balsamic dressing. The burger was so juicy and served with large slices of onion that really complimented the burger. The house salad hit the spot and gave me the energy I needed for the rest of the work day. Tiano's comes in handy the few times my husband and I want a date night, but a little more casual and without leaving the Westside. Can't go wrong with their local, pasta, American, and local-Filipino plates. Garlic shrimp was cooked just right, and I line that the clarified butter is served on the side. Prime rib hits the spot, though I haven't tried prime rib anywhere else on the island. A few years ago, we visited Tiano's during the month of Philippine Independence Day and they participated in some sort of Filipino Restaurant Week. The bangus (milkfish) sinigang had the right amount of tartness and flavor. Dessert includes American and Filipino classics. We enjoy the halo halo and banana lumpia! Tiano's is a nice dinner choice for variety. Service is friendly and pretty quick. The free, spacious parking lots in Kunia definitely beat town parking. They are BYOB, too! read more

Upon stepping out of the airplane, we were craving Filipino Hawaiian Food. My party and I were so glad we found Tiano's nearby HNL. Parking was easy and they had lots of tables available. They said they get busy during peak hours and recommend reservations. The waiters are friendly and the music was 80/90s music. Everything tasted as expected which is what we wanted. The Shanghai Lumpia was crunchy and sweet with the dipping sauce. The Adobo Fried Rice Omelet with Lechon Kawali was a table favorite. Omelet was fluffy soft and the Lechon melted in their mouth but not chewy. Oxtail Soup was flavorful and the oxtail was fall off the bone tender. The Sizzling Pork Sisig was served on a sizzling platter and the spices all mixed well together while cooking the raw egg. The Loco Moco was large and flavorful with the meat holding together and cooked to our requested temperature. Overall prices were reasonable, portions were big, and we were all able to share food. Haven't been here for a while so we stop by to eat. As we got in someone greeted us and told to sit anywhere which is nice. And someone else took our order. We got the pupu sampler which supposed to have Shanghai lumpia, with calamari, and the garlic bread. The server told us they ran out of the Shanghai lumpia so she said can put buffalo chicken wings . I got the lechon kawali with adobo fried rice . My husband got their prime rib and he demolished the whole thing and that prime rib is pretty big for 16 oz. My lechon kawali was a bit too salty in the sauce. I'm not sure what sauce they really use but it taste like poke based in a way and it didn't really match the lechon . I mostly enjoyed their pupu sampler and that was it. The service was good. Haven't tried their desserts yet but hopefully we will be back to try it out. read more

On two occasions last night, you have a waitress walking around with a pitcher of water and only refilling waters on her assigned tables. She walked passed us twice even though our cups were empty. A friend posted about this place so we decided to try it out. First, service was excellent. We went for an early dinner and was seated immediately. Was told you can also make a reservation for parties of 6 or more. My wife decided on the pork adobo fried rice omelet with lechon kawali and I opted for the garlic chicken. Make note...the plates are huge! As soon as it came, we asked for containers so we could pack more than half away. The garlic chicken was crunchy with a nice garlic flavor. The lechon and fried rice was really good with a savory and acidic background. They also have fried ice cream which I'm gonna try on my next visit. We saw the table next to us order the prime rib and was told that's what they're known for. Will give an update review on that when we go again. Stop by and enjoy a meal at this locally owned restaurant. Second visit. Got to try the prime rib and fried ice cream. Wow! The prime rib was super tender and the au jus was amazing. We were seated right away and our server greeted us in a timely manner. My Husband ordered the pork sisig like he always does and I ordered the ribeye with garlic shrimp. I ordered my ribeye mid-well and they cooked it perfectly. I also got the mash potato and green salad as the sides. I believe it came with two. I wasn't a fan of the mash potato, I like mine creamy and fluffy. This was one was a little creamy but not too fluffy. It came with three garlic shrimp which was good. They use the big shrimps. First time at Tiano's Kunia (I've been once 7 years ago at the Ewa Beach location), and I must say the food is amazing! I was recommended by a friend to check it out and I'm glad I did! We came in on a Saturday night at around 6:00pm as a walk in. It was fairly empty, and they easily accommodated a family of 4 and a very active baby girl in a high chair. The tables are spaced fairly, and very family friendly! The hostess as well as the servers were so sweet and kind, from the time we walked in, to the time we left, we felt like we were fully attended to. Even as the restaurant started to pick up, we were continually checked up on. I really love the option for bottomless soft drinks for only $3.50! They give you one basket of hot garlic rolls for free (comes with 4 or 5 I believe), the next round is $1.00 each. It was so sweet of our server to give us an extra plain roll for our baby girl without me having to ask, just the sweetest thing! We've heard great reviews about the trio and the prime rib, so my husband and I ordered one of each. Both dishes were $28 each. The prime rib was so juicy and tender, and the mashed potatoes were so flavorful. The trio was great, the fish wasn't overcooked, the kalbi (according to my husband), was the best he ever tried, and the garlic chicken was very flavorful. Food for sure was a 10/10! My kids ordered a grilled cheese and cheeseburger, both with fries, and they enjoyed it. What's not pictured is our desert. We got a banana lumpia with vanilla ice cream, and boyyyy, it was GOOD. The lumpia was hot, crunchy, and the banana was sweet. Mix that with the scoop of vanilla ice cream and it's a pretty dangerous combo. At the end of the night, we checked out happy and satisfied. As I left outside to buckle in my fussy 11 month old, our hostess comes running out with our boxed leftovers that we forgot. I appreciate that she stopped to give us our food, as we were so busy handling the kids. Our experience was a 10/10 for sure, and I think my husband and I found our new date night spot. Saturday December 28, 2024 first time, coming here as I had a $100.00 gift card to use. Usually, I go to the Waipahu location which is not a restaurant. But, they closed up and they didn't accept the gift card. There is plenty parking. We were seated right away. I ordered the Lechon Kawali and it was a good choice as it was good! The ambiance is casual, comfortable and its air conditioned in there. That was a plus on a hot day. Been here enough times to feel comfortable enough to make a review. I try not to order the same dish twice and so far I have been satisfied. Their vegetables salads, corn chowder, shrimps, fried rice, oxtail soup, and hamburger plates and sandwiches are delicious. I recently had their bowl of chicken long rice and side order of steamed rice for supper. The flavor and long rice was spot on but the tough chicken must have been the one who didn't win. We are always politely greeted with glasses of water and menus set on our table. The food we order is quickly served piping hot to our table. We would like to order their Filipino dishes but we don't have enough knowledge of what to order to feel confident enough. The restaurant leans towards family convenience, spacious enough to be comfortable and clean enough to be enough. Wait staff keeps changing we don't get a chance to really get to know them. Tiano's is usually busy with dine in customer and a lot of take out orders. Reservations are recommended for parties of 6 or more and wait time of 30 minutes or more can be expected and there are no chairs for waiting customers. O'hana was visiting from Arizona so we took him here, it was also my first time but aunty and uncle said they've been coming here as long as they could remember... everything looked so good but I had to go with the hamburger steak and it was HUGE, everyone else couldn't finish it but I did because I love hamburger steaks... it was very tender and yummy, gravy wasn't too much it went really well with rice, the onion rings were crispy and yum.. This place came highly recommended by friends, but disappointingly, for us, the best thing was the garlic mashed potatoes. We had the prime rib and pancit bihon. They split the 16 oz prime rib and mashed potatoes into two plates for us, kudos for the courtesy, but the server failed to mention the up charge for doing that for us. It would have been nice to have the option to simply cut the meat ourselves. We asked for RARE prime rib, but we got a piece that was more medium well, way over cooked. We did not send it back because, you know, small business, but we did mention it to the server. She just brushed it off. The salad that came with the prime rib was just lettuce with some pieces that were brown and should have been thrown out. It was drenched in dressing and was not edible. The pancit was...meh. Went shopping at Walmart and was getting late so decided to get take out at Tiano's. My boyfriend got the oxtail and I got the prime rib. Both was sooo good! The broth of the oxtail had so much flavor. My boyfriend thought it was weird it had long rice inside but trying it he said it was genius. The only other place I tried prime rib was at cattle company and Tiano's is way better ! It did have a lot of fat on it but it was so good. I love that they had straight horseradish. The oxtail does come with rice. And for the prime rib it comes with asparagus and mash potatoes BUT I asked for rice instead. I tried other things at Tiano's but the oxtail and prime rib has to be my favorite. When doing take out make sure to ask for utensils. I assumed there would be utensils. Sisig and the Lechon Kawali were too salty. The Lechon lacked the crispness and crunch of the skin. The Chicken Papaya broth was excellent, however the meat was still tough.
