Never did I expect to feel like a goddess while going to a dermatologist but Tareen's team made me…read morefeel that way. I was recommended to the clinic by a few people and reached out to them instead of the U for a skin/spot check after my doctor missed my cancer diagnosis (I'm so glad I kept pestering them and asked for another opinion...thanks Fairview...) Anyway, they already knew my diagnosis at Tareen and they proceeded to do a full body check on all my other spots then they scheduled me for a small surgery to remove the known bad spot. They scheduled me out after the summer to let me enjoy myself before I had sutures and followed up with me about another little troublesome spot that turned out to be nothing but some irritated skin treated with some ointment. When it was time for my surgery Dr Tareen herself asked how my other spot was (I know they have a file they review beforehand but this was so nice and unexpected, her bedside matter is nothing I've ever experienced before - she sees hundreds of people and can still treat each of us like humans). The doctor and the team who cut me and sewed me back up were very nice. I'm glad I brought my book though while waiting in-between checks since the giant TV on the wall with gross pictures made me a little nauseous after a while (and I'm a freakin' vet tech! Maybe I shouldn't have turned down their snacks). Highly, highly recommend Tareen and her team to anyone who needs expert skin care. My husband had a similarly sized spot removed this year as well and he went to the U - his scar is super blotchy and mine you'll barely be able to see in a while. I was thinking I'd get a tattoo to cover it up but I won't have to!

Healing seemed different than what she'd experienced before, and the scarring was much more noticeable than expected. I'm not sure if something changed with the process or materials used, but unfortunately the results have made me hesitant to bring her here in the future if this continues. I'll still give two stars because the doctors and staff have always been very kind and professional, and the procedures she had done last year healed extremely well with almost unnoticeable scarring. The waiting area is spread out nicely and very clean. There are plenty of up to date magazines to browse through while waiting in addition to countless brochures about conditions I've never even heard of. The staff is good at getting you in as early as possible and really makes an effort to reach out to patients when they have other cancellations occur. They never seem to be running behind schedule and I always get in and out quickly. Dr. Timmons is extremely friendly and always gives her biggest smile and best effort. Another thing I've noticed is that the head dermatologists always seem to have someone much younger and less experienced alongside them. Throughout the whole visit, this person acts pretty much as the nurse but the dermatologist is teaching them and explaining their actions the whole time. I believe that's actual hands on experience is the best way to learn so I enjoy watching this occur. I have only had good experiences here minus the fact that I still don't know why I randomly get hives (gross I know!) but they're working on finding some answers for me and that's all I can ask for!

Over time, that personal touch has completely disappeared. Now, it feels like a large, impersonal machine. I see a different provider each visit, and no one stands out. Everyone says the same things and goes through the same motions--like robots. The care feels rushed and disconnected. My recent visit with Dr. Lee was the final straw. She seemed annoyed by my questions and didn't acknowledge my history, even though it's in their system. I left feeling dismissed and frustrated. I've stayed because my records are here, but I won't be back. Bottom line: If you want quick, anonymous care and don't mind seeing someone new every time, this place might work. Additionally, the window in the exam room was not covered by a shade or blind, which again is a lack of privacy when the patient has to dress and undress. I had an April 2025 dated appointment confirmed three times. I check in and tell them I'll do the membership pricing for this service. They give me an amount to pay which is $350 over the quote. When asked why, they said It's because my quote was based on "being a patient" and it's been over a year since I've been seen so I'm "not a patient" & the pricing is higher for non patients. They said that even though they hadn't originally told me, the quote expired in February. I remind them I was in there in November & that I received a RX at that time. They would not agree to the original quoted price & I told them what a poor business decision that was & I walked out. So now I'm ACTUALLY not their patient, at my own choice this time. So they'll keep that $50, they need it since they lost my business.
