Hubby made a bunch of calls, but received inaccurate information from Rheem (spoke to three different CSR's- two were good, one was passing along the wrong information!). Apparently, the six year warranty only exists if you use the original installer- that was the final thing we learned, from the 3rd Rheem CSR. We purchased our home in 2021, but the water heater was purchased by the previous owner in 2020. Warranties on Rheem water heaters do not transfer over. So, this is a Consumer Buyer Beware warning, to you all. It is so important to know the Warranty on everything that you buy nowadays due to Inflation and Tarriffs (recently ruled "illegal" by a Federal Judge). Hubby and our Plumber unhooked the broken unit to turn it into the Flamingo/Fort Apache one, however, it turned out to be the wrong location, Pro Desk; instead got referred to the one across from Springs Preserve, which closed at 5 pm (across town, not in the same neighborhood, BTW). Hubby calls that one, the following day, thursday, they say, "We do not deal with Residential, only Commercial." It is a good thing he called before actually just heading over there, only to waste more time. And finally, hubby called Rheem a third time. This was extremely frustrating. The difference in customer service is good information versus bad information. This is the purpose of reviews to outline the good, the bad, & the ugly. And it gives companies a chance to improve. So, we had to purchase a new one, but the Flamingo/Fort Apache one didn't have the one that we needed, in stock. So hubby and our Plumber came to this location, The Arroyo Market Square location- Rainbow/ 215. And this one had it in stock. $1483 for a new Rheem water heater. Thursday morning we had hot water again. But, man, what a run-around this was, for hubby and our Plumber. Our licensed contractor handyman is the best! I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a built-in refrigerator from Best Buy…read more We paid $450 for the installation and an additional $400 to have the electrical outlet moved, expecting a professional, hassle-free installation. Instead, it has been one problem after another. The first installation team arrived without the refrigerator. The following day, another crew delivered the refrigerator but couldn't get it aligned properly. A week later, Best Buy sent yet another installer, who still failed to complete the job. During the installation attempts, the installers repeatedly pulled and shoved the refrigerator by force instead of using the built-in leveling wheels. As a result, they broke one of the refrigerator's leveling legs/wheels. Now, unbelievably, Best Buy is telling us that we have to pay for the part their installers broke before they will return to finish the installation. Three weeks after delivery, our refrigerator is still not fully installed. The water line has never been connected, so we have no water and no ice maker. We paid for a complete installation, yet the job remains unfinished. To make matters worse, the store manager told us that the installation department and the repair department do not communicate with each other, so she doesn't know how to resolve the issue. As the customer, we are being left to deal with Best Buy's internal communication problems. This entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. We paid for professional installation, yet have endured multiple failed appointments, damage to a brand-new appliance, and three weeks without a fully functioning refrigerator. We are simply asking Best Buy to stand behind its service. We expect Best Buy to replace the part their installers damaged at no cost to us, complete the installation immediately, connect the water line so the refrigerator is fully operational, verify that the appliance is properly aligned and functioning as intended, and reimburse us for the installation service if they are unable to deliver the professional installation we paid for. Customers should not have to pay for damage caused by Best Buy's installers or spend weeks trying to coordinate between departments that do not communicate with one another. I hope Best Buy's corporate customer service reviews this situation and takes the appropriate steps to resolve it promptly. We are still willing to work toward a resolution, but after three weeks, it is time for Best Buy to take responsibility and make this right.

It is worth noting that all appliances they sell are in some way defective, even if it is new in box... there is something wrong with it or it wouldn't be at their store. I was told the unit we bought was brand new in box, they even showed me the box, so even though I was aware that all their appliances are sold "as is", I assumed it would look brand new... it did not. Our fridge arrived with a very large dint on the top right, just next to the corner, and cracks in 2 of the inner plastic drawers/shelves. The fridge took about 72 hours to reach cooling levels safe for food storage and they even had to send a tech out to verify it was working properly. In the end we saved about $400 bucks off MSRP, which was about $300 cheeper than Home Depots price was (even though appliances 4 less delivery was twice as expensive), but next time I'd rather spend more for a better quality fridge that isn't all banged up and looking 3 years old upon installation. In a pinch if you are like us and are low on funds and don't have the privilege to be picky on what your appliances look like (scratches, dents, missing drawers or door handles) then this place is a more affordable option. But if you can afford to go someplace else I suggest you do.

When we received our delivery, according to the truck company's policy they are not allowed to come in the building! What?! We were left with a 160 pound box on a wooden palette. You would think Ferguson would have mentioned this. What if it was a full size refrigerator? Oven? Luckily we had a furniture mover to put it on but it wasn't easy.
