7/17/26 The service clerk Amber at the Copy & Print department not very friendly. I understand that it's always hard to fake a smile, but when you're working with the public in, you're the first person that they see when you walk in you need to be a little bit more friendlier to people. I told Amber I needed some copies printed from my file on cell. Not everyone is computer savvy. She made me feel like she was obligated and I was bothering her but , everyone else in the store were really generous and polite to me except Amber. I hope Amber has a better day. Great place to make an appointment to finalize tour TSA application. Simple process. Only issue: they seemed to be short staffed and my appointment was at 10:20 and had to wait a little bit to process. The employee was apologetic for the wait... but what should have been a 10-15 min process turned into a 45 min process. All and all... simple and professional. Last Monday, Dec 23, 2024, at 4:47pm, I was ordered OfficeMax Employee to send a package with USPS service to my friend's house for Christmas. I saw Employee already Printed the Label but she hadn't peeled it from sticker paper yet. I saw her being distracted to talk to another male customer while I left OfficeMax. I checked ID tracking about the package still being in the USPS facility and delivered by Dec 27 but unfortunately, on Dec 27 that package did not get out for delivery. I was worried when I thought it was lost or stolen. But the next morning Saturday, I found my package had returned to my home, not to my friend's home. I discovered that the printed Label was missing on both sides of my package and that she forgot to put it on my package. So deeply DISAPPOINTED that she failed to put a printed label on it. It's TOO LATE and I already demanded a FULL REFUND back then I went to another delivery service building, not OfficeMax to send the package to my friend. Her service is TERRIBLE, because of her lack of awareness of important objectives and checking packages. I think She forgot to put an important Label printed on my package after talking with the male customer and she put the package on the Delivery shelf that she was not aware of the printed Label still on my package. I won't bring any future packages to OfficeMax for sending anymore FOREVER!!!!!! I didn't trust the delivery service at OfficeMax!! I DON'T RECOMMENDED THAT!! read more

I've been in this store twice in the past six months and boy have they gone down hill. Both times I went in, the employees said nothing to me and walked right on by. No greetings whatsoever. When I finally found what I wanted and went to the register, it looked like stock room. Boxes, empty and full, all over the place. The only employee I could see was the guy at the copy center. He saw me, we made eye contact, and standing there and didn't even bother to call and get someone to ring me up. It was the same guy both times. There was no one in the store so there's no excuse that they were busy with other customers. Maybe they're better at customer service before 5 p.m., because after 5 p.m. the employees just don't care. They used to be great but not anymore. Avoid this store as all cost if you want any kind of customer service. read more

Don't do any of your copy projects at Office Max, waste of time and money! Needed 3 sets of copies and decided to use Office Max self service center. There was an assistant there who obviously didn't know what he was doing. He kept charging me for "prepaid" costs, 5 different charges. I was charged $90 for copies that actually cost $36.85. The money was taken from my bank account immediately and nothing was refunded. When I called 2 days later about this, I was told it takes up to 3 days (assumably business days) for the credit to reflect in my account. This should have been told "up front"! Additionally, the paper they use is very slick, copies are too light and hard to read. Very bad experience! read more

I would never order anything from this place anymore. I ran out of ink and so I ordered an ink cartridge from them 60, by the way. Anyway long story short they lost the package. Never received. The tracking shows it traveling all over the West Coast, and I am 10 miles from this store. The people at the printing department are extremely unprofessional, a complete joke!! . I waited about 10 minutes for someone to talk to me. The guy with the pony tail and the girl just kept staring at me, weren't courteous enough to at least say "be right with you" then when she finally talks to me, no apology for the wait, as frustrated as I was I still greeted the employee and she just said "what's your question??" I submitted a print order through the website yesterday. Paid for it in full. Went in today to pick it up. Literally wasn't greeted by a single employee. Not even a "be with you shortly"). I checked in on their computer and waited, waited, and waited some more. Still no customer service. I finally interrupted an employee to say I'm just here to pickup an order that's supposed to be done and paid for. He asked me my name. Then did....nothing. I frequent this location often because my printer is always screwing up. Just so happen today I had to come here like twice. This morning on my first trip I used the stapler and I was intrigued by now it was so smooth and it didn't even feel like I had stapled my packet of documents. So when I came back tonight to scan more forms and used it again i inquired with the nice lady behind the counter if it was sold here so I could by one for my office at home. She advised me yes and that it was on isle 5. She told me that I could take the stapler with me to isle 5 so I could make sure I grab the accurate one and then bring it back. I thanked her and proceeded to go to isle 5. On my way there two employees were standing at the end of one of the isle just having free time speaking and looked at me and continued with their conversation. I went down isle 5 and ended up seeing the strips I needed to hang some photos. So while looking at those to figure out what size I need one of the guys who were previously engaged in personal chat comes and asks if I need help. I told him "thank you but I'm ok". He proceeded to tell me I have their stapler. I told him I was aware and the nice lady at the front told me I could bring it to this isle to pick out the stapler I was going to purchase. He asked for the stapler and initially said they didn't have it. I said ok that's fine maybe another location does. The stapler was right in front of us I see it and then he says oh we do have it. I advised I wanted the same color as the one in his hand. He passed it to me and just kinda looked at me. I thanked him and offered to take the other one back to the area he declined in a strange matter and I walked away to the register. While standing in line replaying the situation I was kinda irritated because his tone and body language was just very off and accusatory. I went ahead folded by papers I scanned, took a photo of the stapler(I'll buy it elsewhere), thanked the young man at the register and let him know I changed my mind. OfficeMax is my go-to office supple store. For heavy and full service printing, I prefer the Summerlin location or the store off Eastern/Serene. Both these locations are super staffed at their print center and they specialize in high volume printing. However, this wasn't an option since I was too far from Summerlin and the Serene location had a busted printer. So, Yelp brought me here. This location is smaller, quieter, and not as heavily staffed as my favorites. But they sure made up for it with efficient service at the print center. Stevie was great. She was dealing with 2 other customers, troubleshooted a problem that someone else had, dealt with the non-stop phone calls, and most importantly, took care of me. I can't say I was in and out of this place quick, but all the printing that I requested came out clean. I was actually impressed with this OfficeMax. The last time I had business cards ordered from here, the cut was about 2 centimeters off. On a business card (especially one with full bleed), THAT IS A LOT. I was a little annoyed, but let it go. Yesterday, I took another chance with them. I asked the guy working about his "options for banners." He just kind of waited and raised his eye brows a little, which prompted me to add, "You know, maybe 4 feet long, or 6 feet long," thinking he didn't know what I was talking about. He replied by saying, "We don't really have 'options' we just have ___ to print on and _____." The associate said this like a teenager with a bad attitude even though he looks to be in his late 40s. A little incredulous, I informed him I had never printed a banner before so I wasn't sure where to start. -- In my head, I was thinking, "I'm going to give his guy a change to redeem himself. Maybe he's having a bad day." It was like pulling teeth to get him to help me and they weren't able to provide what I needed by my deadline. Next, I wanted enlarged reprints mounted on foam board. Again, he looked at me and said, "Well how big do you want them?" I have never done that either and I didn't know what they were capable of so I held up my hands to show him what I was aiming for. He told me they could make it any size I wanted. From my side of the counter I could see there was a large foamboard print resting in the back that showed the different sizes and I had to ask him to show that to me. Why should I have to ask to see that when I clearly don't do this on a regular basis? He then took me to the computer to grab what images I needed printed off of my flashdrive. I told him to grab an extra file on there because I needed business cards too. During this time he NEVER spoke to me. When he was done entering the order, I asked him how many days it would take for my 250 cards order. He said 10 days. TEN DAYS. I have ordered them in two days at OfficeMax before, at more than one location. When I said, "WHAAAAT," he said it's always like that. This is probably the simplest order of business cards you could get, people. What is the point of having a print center and equipment if you can't even do business cards? If they were backed up and he told me five days, fine. But TEN DAYS? You can get them quicker online from VistaPrint sooner than that. I had him cancel everything and took my order right across the street to Kinkos. I should have started there, since I've never had a problem with them. My order ended up being $230, so too bad, so sad OfficeMax on Stephanie!!!!! The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because the other associates gave friendly greetings and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Sean needs to lighten up or not take bad days out on customers. I can honestly say I will never go here for my printing needs now. I came prepared with what I needed and what images to use and still somehow the employee made me feel stupid. I don't like giving my business to rude representatives. read more

Had such an amazing experience with Heather and Melissa at this store! We came to print programs for my sweet mom's funeral service. First they worked with an extremely tight turn around and then when I picked them up and wasnt happy with the way they turned out (through no fault of officemax, just the paper I chose and some formatting problems) Melissa worked with me to get them fixed and reprint all 150. I don't know why, but I like Office Max more than Staples. I can't really put my finger on it, but I enjoy coming in this place. I think I just like office supplies. I'm the kind of person that buys school supplies in the summer just because I find them exciting. The sales associates are pretty friendly and helpful here. The shelves are always well-stocked, and I can generally pick up everything I need in this one spot. Their computers are really slow to process things, so using debit rather than cash takes FOREVER. But really, it's a minor thing. I like Office Max. read more
