I didn't realize Assured and A-1 are probably the same company. When I called the Cutter's number to get shredding done, I got someone from Assured. I asked about Cutter's and she said they bought Cutter's last year. She said they always had the number I called, so I'm not sure if the Cutter's number forwarded calls to Assured or not, which would make the statement the lady that answered the phone true, but idk. Anyway, she told me it would be about $130, I believe up to 10 banker's boxes. I said I had the equivalent of 4-5 boxes. She said they could shred up to 10 boxes, so anything less they'll take for the $130. I was used to paying $30-60 with Cutter's, depending on how much shredding I had to do, so this price seemed outrageous to me. The lady on the phone seemed to me a bit snarky, but I could have perceived it that way after she told me the price is still $130ish ($129.XX). A part of me wanted to be sarcastic, but I wasn't. There wasn't any need to ever be sarcastic. I thanked her for her information, but it did not seem reasonable for me to pay so much. I ended up getting a much better deal with a Tempe company with incredible service & pricing and pay for what was being shredded instead of some flat price regardless. I've read a number of the reviews and they seem to like Assured, so maybe the woman that answered my call was having a bad day. idk. But I am missing Cutters. read more

When a truck with a Medieval dragon shows up to chomp on paper, you know they're serious. :-D I hired Assured after Stericycle basically dropped the ball (being polite there). Assured showed up on schedule, took care of the records of an entire homeowner association we dissolved (20+ years worth of paper) in a matter of minutes. The driver was courteous and detailed. Had a contract for public event this weekend in Sun City. Trucks didn't show at 8 am start time. Took nearly an hour for someone with company to get back to organizers on the ground. Said best they could do would be to get one truck there around 10 am and that they "didn't have the event on the calendar", despite an executed contract. Mistakes happen,but be better. read more

We moved our office a week ago. After being in the building since 2007, there was a lot of work to do to make it happen. Not to mention we still had to run the business and it was well over 100 degrees everyday. I called your company out twice to shred for us, both times your employee was so rude. The only reason I called a 2nd time was because I didn't have time to call other companies and also I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was just having a bad day. Not an honest company!!! The shredding operation was as advertised used them for 10 years. Had to make several phone calls to pick up the storage bin when the office was closing. They end up picking it up a week after they had confirmed they would. Then the final bill arrives and they want to charge for early termination of contract. I asked them for a signed copy of said contract, which they could never provide. I refused to pay that fee and they sent the account to collection. Lovely!! read more

I'm not sure how I heard about Assured Document Destruction, but we've used them now for about 3-4 years. They are probably the best, most efficient, organized, conscientious company we work with.
