High end feel without high end prices. Both the atmosphere & food are top notch and so is the service! The waiters/waitresses are very on top of things without making you feel rushed making the experience a very relaxed one. The Greek options are delicious, but they also have more bland options if you have a picky eater in the group. My boyfriend and I came in the other night while we were celebrating our anniversary on the Cape. Our server was Danka and she was such a delight. My boyfriend doesn't eat pork and she was very accommodating in finding out and confirming whether or not a few things on the menu had pork in it. Our food was so good! The restaurant has a fun vibe and was very clean. We will be back anytime we are in the area! This place knocks it out of the park. Hands down the best Greek food I have ever had. We had heard through word of mouth that it was very good so decided to take a drive for the afternoon and have lunch. We were greeted promptly and personably. We sat outside on the covered patio - very comfortable even on a hot day (as people were spaced out appropriately) and we had a lovely view of the quaint downtown Falmouth area. Very comfortable setting to enjoy our meal. First off, crusty bread and dipping oil super good - (always a good sign). We ordered the sampler plate as an appetizer and then a pizza & shish kebab. Flavoring and seasonings were sooo good - the food was cooked to perfection - the salad was cold and fresh. The dessert - Baklava - the best we've had and a generous portion. Our server was attentive - everything timed perfectly and he was even able to share some of the history of the area with us which was so much appreciated. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant. Even though its an hour drive for us, we plan to be regulars. read more

First time at this restaurant it won't be our last. Celebrating a birthday at the outside patio on a beautiful night with very nice wine, appetizers followed by dinner. As a party of 4 all with different main courses and all giving their dinner a full thumbs up - very unusual given the makeup of this group. All also agreed the interior seating and bar, including the octopus, looked inviting and would make a very comfortable place to dine - but the Evening was to nice to pass up the opportunity to dine alfresco We'll be back. read more

Well, let me just say that I haven't even left this place and HAD to leave a review! My brother and sister in law had eaten here last week and raved. Not one to be left out, I had to come check it out for myself. This is my first dining experience post Covid and it was an excellent experience all around! It's super warm today so I didn't want to eat outside. It's nice and cool with the AC and everything is IMMACULATE! We were welcomed and seated right away. Our server Denitsa was super helpful recommending dishes because we knew what we were getting for our main meal. She and others teased me when I said I wasn't sharing with my Mom, we all had a laugh and they made us feel like regulars - which we WILL be after this GREAT all around experience! read more

Amazing food-server was the BEST! Denitsa was attentive and her recommendations were spot on! She suggested we add honey and feta to the sweet potato fries we had ordered. The food is great but service was a bit of a disappointment. It was my birthday and my wife asked the hostess (while I was in the bathroom) if they could bring me a slice of cake with a candle on it. She said it wouldn't be a problem. My 2 year old son was very excited. When the meal ended, the waitress came with a slice of cake, no candle, no surprise, no clue my wife had talked to the hostess and asked for a candle. I understand it's busy but ruined a once a year night for me (and my son was quite disappointed). read more

I haven't had a chance to try the food here but they rejected us saying that they don't do big parties anymore. We have a party of 8. Instead of offering to split the group up the hostess offered take out. I wouldn't be going inside a restaurant asking for table if I want take out. We went here a few months ago. From the outside, the place looks fantastic, but unfortunately it ends there. The hostess was rude when we asked how long the wait might be. Apparently, she did not seem to think that was in any way a fair thing to ask her. When we sat at the bar, the bartenders were quick to point out what was bad on the menu, which I appreciated but also thought was odd since we had not asked. Ultimately, we got a few standard greek items, and we over all thought the food was average at best. Avoid the Taramsalata, we received it instead of Melanzoslata we ordered. It was quite off putting, and it was only because of that did we discover it was the wrong dish. Nothing was really done to make up for the mistake; wasn't really expecting anything but they didn't even apologize for the mistake and instead acted annoyed. read more

Unimpressed. Came here for dinner on a weekday night- we were promptly seated, but that's where the promptness ended. Our server showed up and introduced himself only to immediately disappear; another server didn't come to take our order for 20 minutes. When we finally got to order, I got chicken kebab. The chicken was dry, and overall the quality of the dish was on par with cheap Greek takeout. Service- one star, food- two stars max. Just, I mean just, finished our take-out meal from Estia, and it was delectable. It was delivered curbside by a friendly waiter to my car at their Falmouth location (reserved parking for curbside pickup), meticulously wrapped, and plunked into my cooler bag. I then drove to the boat in Woods Hole, after which I waited in standby for 90 minutes, and took the ferry to MV. Drove another 20 minutes home, stuck it in the oven to warm, and enjoyed with a light red (and husband). Even after all that travel and sitting (about 3 hours) and reheating, it was delicious. The last (and first) time we had a takeout meal from this restaurant was in early June. I was sorry to have to try it out for the very first time with a takeout order, but it was terrific. I only wish we got over to Falmouth more often. read more

We enjoyed Estia in Mashpee and anxiously awaited the opening of the Falmouth Estia. While the food is still good the service in Falmouth is very poor. We had our appetizer salad and entree all dumped in front of us within 5 minutes. We were never asked if we wanted a second drink. We ordered dessert and were not offered coffee. Nice place with outdoor tables and a big bar, and they even paid attention to the acoustics so you can actually have a conversation there without yelling. I've been twice, each time ordering different gyros. I want to love this place, and I'm glad it's here. But I've been eating at Greek places since childhood and find this remarkably bland. Maybe I have to give up on the gyros. The pita is too cakey and tasteless. I hope they'll improve. read more

First experience last summer was not the best, everything just seemed to go wrong. We have since returned and had a wonderful time. The food is so good and portions are huge!! Bring your appetite! Most of the octopus was delicious (there were a few overcooked chewy pieces.) The sausage was amazing. The chicken kebab was juicy, but rather bland. The swordfish was good but nothing amazing if comparing it to a high end fish restaurant. And the lemon potatoes were great--in one dish, but a little undercook in the second dish. Overall the food was very good, and I think they need to work on consistency, spices and details to make it great. And as others had mentioned, it is a bit pricey (by about $3 per dish). read more

It's insane to see this place only has 3.5 stars while so many other restaurants in the area have 4 to 5. We didn't even see Estia online while looking at spots to eat, and decided to check it out as we were on our way to a much less impressive, 4.5 star Italian restaurant. Everything was amazing: the food, service, and ambiance. Even during COVID I felt completely safe and all workers were wearing masks. It was all so good that we went back again the very next night because there were so many amazing options on the menu that we wanted to try! First night we had the grilled octopus, sweet potato fries, and a small coal fired pizza. All amazing. The Peach mule was great too. Second night I had the lamb lollipop entree with truffle fries, and my girlfriend had the blackened tuna. It was all amazing, the lamb was incredibly succulent. Even the bread with olive oil is good! Went in early afternoon mainly just to try the new place on Main Street. The server recited a list of specials which we immediately forgot; specials should be advertised in writing so we can think about it. Had the appetizer sampler which was very good (excellent Spanakopita!) and a Zoe pizza. I expect a pizza from a coal-fired oven to be very crisp. It was not. It was almost soggy and could have come from Domino's or Papa Gino's. Recommended, but let's get that pizza oven a lot hotter. read more
