Were required to only order from their Valentine Menu charging $49 per person. Saw several couples come in, read menu and walk out. Wish we had done the same! Appetizer fair, didn't eat most of it after waiting almost an hour. Husband only ate part of steak, which was mostly raw. Ordered beef and chicken kabob. Only got steak. Had to share a desert. This hidden gem provides not only amazing food but amazing service. I showed up around 8 am and the entire menu, not just breakfast, was available. The servers were super attentive and the food was prompt and delicious. The plantano empanada is to die for and the drinks are amazing (don't judge, I work nights). I was super impressed with the flavor and variety of their menu. There were so many choices it was hard to pick but everything looked delicious. What impressed me even more than the amazing food was the sweet and caring demeanor of my servers. This is my first time here and I came with my parents. Fantastic food and great prices. I got their Chai Latte and Gnocchis with Alfredo and it was delicious! Their portions are pretty good as well. We also ordered the beef empanadas and they bursted with flavor. For dessert we got the alfajores and they were super yummy as well. This was just what we were looking for! The empanadas are a must to get, they had fried version and baked one. We got the baked one and they were cute and stuffed with meat. We ordered the brunch special: included a featured entree from the menu, coffee, OJ, and a pastry. It's a pretty solid deal. Between that and the empanadas. We were happy and full. The staff were really friendly and accommodating as well. My boyfriend and I were given the same pastry , and the manager came by to switch one out for another , to let us try some variety. I took my mother in law here for brunch this morning since she rarely gets out of the house since she has cancer. We were seated outside which had an amazing DJ and mimosas. The food was absolutely amazing first of all and the service is A-1. But I have to give the biggest thank you to the owners!! My mother in law ended up passing out on the patio and the owners rushed to our side. They brought ice, towels, crackers and soda water so that she could feel better. They also helped call the ambulance and made sure my daughter and I were taken care of while the medics took care of my mother in law. I am forever grateful for them and the care and effort they took to make sure we were ok and we will definitely be back to enjoy everything this restaurant has to offer!! read more

This is one of those hidden gems that does well, but you also don't want people to know about because it's "your" spot. They have an amazing seis (not tres) leches that will blow your mind. I have finally found a place that serves a Cuban coffee worthy of my former home in Miami. Their chorizo, morcilla, provoleta and surprisingly, their PIZZA... were all incredible. We will be coming back to try their Argentinian Beef Sandwich and probably many other things. Their service is the cherry on top. The owner was on site, welcomed us personally and checked to make sure everything was up to standards. I went to the Astor cafe recently, and it was delicious! I cannot remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it was an argentinian sausage sandwhich. We went here today for brunch and left disappointed and very perplexed by all the good reviews. We waited to eat very late in the day and were all starving so we did eat our food, but it was disappointing. My poached eggs had the whites undercooked and the yolks over cooked. I don't even know how that happens. My husbands omelette was also over cooked on the outside and under on the inside with the vegetables completely raw and cold. We did not try the mimosas but several people were having them and they looked extremely watered down. They were nice but the service was extremely slow. We were there for a total of about 2 hours waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 30 to be served. The restaurant is small but was consistently busy so I'd think they'd want to have more than two people working the shift. The kids waffles were pretty yummy, but I'm pretty confident they weren't made in house. The biggest disappointment, I think, is that they have farm to table in their name and I don't believe that they are truly a farm to table restaurant. It's fine if you're not - just don't pretend to be. We won't be going back...the entire experience was just very underwhelming. EDIT: I find this seemingly automatic response interesting. I did not mentioned a microwave and I find it amazing that they can remember each and every customer. I can confirm we were almost 2 hours. Maybe it was an hour from the time we ordered our food and ate and checked out which means we still waited for food for 30 minutes. Please tell me what your understanding of farm to table is.
