Visited last night for Father's Day. Had a reservation for 3 in the bar area. We sat at a high top table. They have a full bar you can sit at with TVs if you prefer that. Our server came over right away with water and asked if we wanted to order drinks. My dad got red wine. They provide bread and butter which was a nice snack. We ordered the pork chop bites for an app. They're tasty but very small. For mains we got the ribeye with grilled vegetables (not included w ribeye you buy them separately). Definitely enough for 2-3 people to share. We also got the filet Perry 6oz $59 which comes with crab and asparagus - was totally delicious cooked perfectly. Hi Yelpers! I was in Katy, Texas a few weeks ago and it happened to be Restaurant week. So hubby and I chose to try out Perry's Steak house and Grill. So I made reservations on Open table and informed them it was my Wedding. Anniversary. When we got there the hostess was very pleasant and she walked us to a table. My husband didn't like the position of the table so they asked us to wait a bit which we were happy to. While sitting down the Manager engaged us in conversation and asked if it was our anniversary and he congratulated us. When the table was ready he asked us to walk with the hostess. When I tell you the table was worth the wait, it was worth the wait. The table was in a private room in a corner and there were roses on the table. We were then greeted by Gabrielle our server (I think that was his name). He was wonderful and extremely pleasant. It was restaurant week so we asked for the menu. For Starters we have the Cesar Salad and Lobster Bisque and it was just delicious. For the main course I went with the Salmon dish and hubby had the Pork dinner. The pork dinner was absolutely delicious and the salmon was nice too. I mean you can go wrong with salmon. For dessert we had the bread pudding topped with ice cream. We had the ultimate experience at the Perry's Steakhouse La Centerra Cinco Ranch location today. We celebrate our wedding anniversary with them every year, but this visit was unlike any other. We have a senior furbaby who goes everywhere with us, and as she's aged, she can no longer be left home alone for long periods. Using the "Bring Fido" app, we searched for a pet‑friendly place to celebrate -- and to our surprise, our very own tradition, Perry's, was listed as pet friendly with an outdoor patio. It felt like everything aligned. Not only could we celebrate where we love, but we could do it without worry, with our little family complete. The ambiance was perfect, but our waitress, Max, made the experience unforgettable. From the moment she greeted us to the moment she shook our hands goodbye, she cared for us with genuine warmth. She treated our Bella as if she were her own -- bringing her a water bowl, a little plate of berries, and checking on her with the same attentiveness she gave us. Her smile never faded. When it was time to leave, Max surprised us with a to‑go bag and a hand‑drawn picture of Bella on it, wishing us a happy anniversary. That small gesture said everything about who she is as a person. We shared our experience with the GM, Arthur Seigmund, and let him know that now that we know Bella is welcome anytime, we won't be waiting for a once‑a‑year celebration anymore. Wanted to be spoiled and enjoy life! Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in Katy filled my Yummy in the Tummy dream and was Terrific! Wanted to get a large party together for HAPPY HOUR and the Managers and staff was so accommodating! We sat in the Bar which they set-up against the wall for our large group, which was very comfy and enjoyable! The Happy Hour drinks were Amazing and my party kept filling-up as well as the assortment of Happy Hour Foods offers were Amazing especially the Lobster bisque sampler soup! Yummy-HR Heaven! We also ordered variety of food including a platter of Steaks off the regular menu and as usual Perry's did not disappoint, as each bite melted in our mouths and craved for more!! My husband and I came here for the Bar 79 Social Hour. The bar area is nice and dimmed with high top, bar top, and booth seating. The social hour menu includes 7 items in three sections for $9 (e.g., appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wine). We had the Perry's pork chop bites, which comes with 3 small skewers of 3 bites each. It was good but small. The Truffle Spinach Artichoke Dip was delicious! We also had the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, which were good but I wasn't a fan of the tomato based sauce. I think it would have been better with a creamy, cheese sauce. The Salted Caramel Espresso Martini was very sweet and my husband didn't like it but he loved the Godfather Returns. We dined here for my birthday in early October. We had a late reservation, but the restaurant wasn't crowded. They had high reviews for their pork chops but I'm a steak person. The waitstaff was attentive and my steak was good, except my lobster tail was a bit overcooked. My partner had the grilled oysters, and we ordered a couple of sides to share. We didn't eat much because we got full on the bread and appetizers. It was a weekday night, and we felt we we're overdressed. It's a very nice restaurant and the atmosphere is comfortable, but it is too dark. I had to pull out my cellphone to read the menu. Come for the steak, stay for the sides and lemon drops. Came here for my birthday and what an amazing experience from start to finish! We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant is very dimly lit and romantic, very upscale. Our waiter, Jason, was wonderful. He brought out a birthday card that the staff had signed and left it on the table. We started off with the truffle spinach dip and a couple of cocktails to start. Then moved on to the steak and red wine. Usually never leaving the loop, I met friends at the Cinco Ranch Perry's on 99 West in Katy / effectively Cinco Ranch area. The four of us took advantage of the Senior Menu which for $40 had a good variety of choices as it was "price fixed" etc. 3 of us of course had the down sized pork chop with one having the salmon. All four entrees and sides were delicious - well prepared and on time. The waiter - Alan was courteous and timely. I was with tee totalers so I did not enjoy a glass of cabernet with my meal but it was ok as my pork chop was cooked to perfection. Halfway through - say 6:30 - 7:00 pm the restaurant and bar were full but the noise level was very acceptable. We came to celebrate an occasion with a friend. Making the reservation was simple and easy. We were sat fairly quickly and our drink order was placed very soon after sitting down. The steak tater tots were amazing. The steak was some of the most tender I've had. Crab cakes were also good with a hint of heat. This is where things got disappointing. My husband and I both ordered the pork chop because of how famous it is and my husband had had it previously and it was delicious. This time it was dry. The sides are $15 and definitely overpriced for the amount you get. I was honestly slightly disappointed with the food experience given how high the price point is. For a $300 dinner I felt like I left wanting a lot more. I probably won't be back unfortunately. I'll go to Flemings or taste of Texas next time. read more

I am honestly surprised at the low yelp rating for Perry's. My husband and I went here for my birthday and were honored to be served by Sage. He was wonderful, knowledgeable, informative, funny, and incredibly attentive, yet respectful of our desire for quality time. We ordered a bottle of a lovely Spanish Tempranillo, and started with the calamari. It was overdone and chewy, sadly, but this was the only complaint I had throughout our visit. We split a wedge salad which was a bit over dressed, but it was delicious, I really loved the bit of sweetness to the dressing, it was very complementary. We also tried the lobster bisque, which was very salty, but somehow still incredibly addicting and very buttery. It had small pieces of lobster on top so it wasn't overcooked just waiting in the warmer to be served. Hubby tried their signature pork chop (32oz) with the whipped potatoes, which was so tender and absolutely outstanding, I see why it's a favorite. They cut it tableside for a lovely presentation. I had the Koji lamb chops which were cooked to medium rare, I did ask for rare but it was okay they came out a little over done, they're small so I'm sure it's hard to get just right when doing a million other things in the kitchen. It was the best tasting lamb I've ever had. The koji process really reduced the natural gaminess of the lamb - which I like, but it was very mild and incredibly tender. Even after reheating them as leftovers in my air fryer, they were still tender and delicious. Worth every penny imo. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was focused on my quality time. Dessert was complementary for my birthday and we got the rocky road bread pudding to share. We didn't have room for it so we got it to go and I can't speak on how it is because I haven't had it yet. Overall our experience here was wonderful. The service especially was top notch even if a few of the food items weren't perfect. Even though I'm an excellent cook, I don't like to be knit picky. I would have liked to have tried their au gratin potatoes, so that's on my radar for the next one. The hubs and I had a lovely date night here. They have a great wine selection and had a fun three sampler martini flight. My steak was cooked perfectly and it was tender. I got the filet three ways- coffee crusted, crap topped, and peppercorn. The sides could be better- the Brussels were so big. It would be nice if they could cut them smaller. A friend and I came in for happy hour on New Year's Eve and sat in the bar area. Right away, I noticed how quiet it was, with very few guests but many employees standing around talking. There was a happy hour menu displayed at the bar, and my friend and I were reviewing both the happy hour and small plate options. I was excited to share this experience with her, as she is from out of town and doesn't have this restaurant where she lives. I had spoken very highly of this place and was looking forward to showing her how great the happy hour usually is. When the waitress arrived, she brought two menus and said, "These are our other menus," which implied that we had a choice. However, when we were ready to order, she then informed us that the Christmas/New Year's Eve menu was the only menu available and that we could not order from the happy hour menu at all. I was planning to order fries, sliders, a margarita, and my favorite oversized slice of chocolate cake. My friend was also ready to order from the happy hour plates. We were simply looking for a quiet, upscale place to enjoy a drink and some light food--nothing elaborate. Unfortunately, the New Year's Eve menu was not what we were looking for, so we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. The staff did not seem concerned or particularly interested in keeping our business, and the overall atmosphere felt disengaged, as if they already expected no one to come in that evening. This experience was especially disappointing because I usually visit the Woodlands or Sugar Land locations and have always had positive experiences there. Ambiance and service was alright, just standard but I do appreciate the manager consistently coming out after realizing someone in my party has a tree-nut allergy. Unlike other restaurants, the host didn't mentioned my notes (tree-nut allergy and birthday) to my server and just took us to our table. This was the first time I had to mention multiple of times even though I made notes of it on the reservation on Open Table - not saying I mind, especially regarding of the tree-nut allergy, but it shows the lack of communications and my server didn't seem too thrilled about hearing it from us. He did grab his manager. Pork chop Friday ($19) during lunch is amazing, served with mashed potatoes and a side of apple sauce. Pork chop was not dry, smoked with pecan wood for approximately 6 hours, and well flavored. Mashed potatoes was just meh. Steak pasta ($24) was disappointing but at least the steak was cooked correctly. Angel hair pasta was over cooked and lacked in tomato basil flavor, despite having a a basil on top. Lobster bisque ($17) a tad too salty, though, I appreciate real lobster meat chunks. Complimentary bread was surprisingly good that I finished all of it! Not to overhype it but the bread came out warm and stayed warm. It's simple yet good, goes well with the lobster bisque. Plenty of parking but you may find it hard in the area during Friday lunch time as many people and businesses come here to try their pork chop at Friday lunch special price. It's usually not crazy busy here, with the exception of Friday lunch so be sure to make reservations during peak time or you will be waiting. Prices overall is okay for this type of restaurant. Unfortunately, with many other restaurants in the Cinco Ranch area, I don't see myself coming back. read more

Our waitress tried but it was all too much for her. Terrible. The food was wonderful, except for the raw meat they brought our granddaughter! We were a party of 5 adults and a nine year old, and we were charged a mandatory $95 gratuity on each of our checks (split 3 checks). Then they gave us a bill that showed a space for Tip. I've got a tip for you...the next time you have your door open and taking reservations, do better. While I will NEVER go back, you can decide for yourself. The restaurant was dimly lit, buzzing with people, and (I was shocked because it was the middle of the work day??). More than the food, the service was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and high-energy. The pork chop came with creamy mashed potatoes, a mildly sweet apple sauce, and fresh bread and butter (which we ate in its entirety). We ordered a side of the fried asparagus with crab and it was perfectly crunchy, golden, and buttery- a good excuse to have vegetables . Went to Perry's in Cinco Ranch for my friends birthday on a Thursday night. It was a double date; including her 1 year old. The environment was family friendly and they offered a high chair. My only issue was that it was FREEZING! Lol I was so cold I was ready to go. Food: Everyone ordered different menu items as pictured and not one complaint. I had the Filet Perry which was cooked to perfection with the garlic butter dripping over it. I only wished I had a big more crab meat because you really don't get a lot. I thought the lobster Mac was as just okay but everyone else T the table enjoyed it. The creamed spinach was really good! My friend ordered the lobster and filet lignin pasta and was able to request a few changes to the sauce and noodles which was nice. They offer valet parking or you can park in the lot and walk over. I LOVE PERRY's Steakhouse! My company ADP host our quarterly championship dinners here which there are 3 I have qualified for with about 6-10 people in attendance. The staff treats you like royalty which matches the luxurious ambiance of the restaurant. The food is always extremely fresh and the drinks are delicious. I had the French opinion soup which was really flavorful and hot, wasn't my favorite (more of a personal preference). The lamb chops were cooked to perfection alongside the lobster tail. This combination has easily become one of my favorite entrees specifically because of how well Perry's executes this dish. The Brussels sprouts were crisp and juicy. The seafood tower was BOMB (couldn't fit anymore pictures). My entire party was extremely happy and we consistently have an amazing experience. read more

My partner made us a reservation in the bar area which I liked because it is mostly couples and singles and no children and we were on a date wanting something more intimate. The service was excellent as was the food. We started with the pork chop bites which were incredible. They are cooked perfectly, tender and served with an amazing BBQ style dipping sauce. We both had the New York strip steaks and they were also flavorful and cooked to perfection. We shared the loaded whipped mashed potatoes and they were fantastic too. I would definitely say the surprise highlight of the meal was the specialty pumpkin cheesecake. OMG, it was to die for! I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was! Meh. There are much better steakhouses for this price point. First impression was they did not have our reservation from Open table and said their online reservations have been down for the past couple of days. We received a confirmation for our reservation so that was a bit confusing. They were not busy so we were seated right away, thankfully. We finished a loaf of bread before receiving our first glass of water (15+minutes after being seated). I ordered and paid for a bone in NY strip and received a regular NY strip. My wife has the pork chop and it appeared it was this gentleman's first time carving one. He did not explain the different sections and which order it is best to eat them so I had to explain that portion to the best of my memory from previous visits. Finally, when packing up leftovers we asked for the apple sauce to be packed with the pork chop and today at lunch we found out they did not pack it. The drinks were good, the food was mediocre, the atmosphere was nice. It's a decent place but last night was a miss. We are new to the area and wanted to try something local Perry's did not disappoint. Not only was the food great but the service was excellent.
