Hi Yelpers! I was in Katy, Texas a few weeks ago and it happened to be Restaurant week. So hubby and I chose to try out Perry's Steak house and Grill. So I made reservations on Open table and informed them it was my Wedding. Anniversary. When we got there the hostess was very pleasant and she walked us to a table. My husband didn't like the position of the table so they asked us to wait a bit which we were happy to. While sitting down the Manager engaged us in conversation and asked if it was our anniversary and he congratulated us. When the table was ready he asked us to walk with the hostess. When I tell you the table was worth the wait, it was worth the wait. The table was in a private room in a corner and there were roses on the table. We were then greeted by Gabrielle our server (I think that was his name). He was wonderful and extremely pleasant. It was restaurant week so we asked for the menu. For Starters we have the Cesar Salad and Lobster Bisque and it was just delicious. For the main course I went with the Salmon dish and hubby had the Pork dinner. The pork dinner was absolutely delicious and the salmon was nice too. I mean you can go wrong with salmon. For dessert we had the bread pudding topped with ice cream. It was also delicious and pudding was nice and warm. The restaurant is really big and was very full that evening however the service was on point and the food was never delayed. Over all it was a nice restaurant, delicious food and great customer service. I highly recommend Perry's

Came in without reservations and they accommodated to us in the bar seating area. Wasn't our first choice, however the service and experience was just the same as dining room. Staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was on par with other Perry Steakhouse standards. I would say, service here is better than other locations I've been too.

We had the ultimate experience at the Perry's Steakhouse La Centerra Cinco Ranch location today. We celebrate our wedding anniversary with them every year, but this visit was unlike any other. We have a senior furbaby who goes everywhere with us, and as she's aged, she can no longer be left home alone for long periods. Using the "Bring Fido" app, we searched for a pet‑friendly place to celebrate -- and to our surprise, our very own tradition, Perry's, was listed as pet friendly with an outdoor patio. It felt like everything aligned. Not only could we celebrate where we love, but we could do it without worry, with our little family complete. The ambiance was perfect, but our waitress, Max, made the experience unforgettable. From the moment she greeted us to the moment she shook our hands goodbye, she cared for us with genuine warmth. She treated our Bella as if she were her own -- bringing her a water bowl, a little plate of berries, and checking on her with the same attentiveness she gave us. Her smile never faded. When it was time to leave, Max surprised us with a to‑go bag and a hand‑drawn picture of Bella on it, wishing us a happy anniversary. That small gesture said everything about who she is as a person. We shared our experience with the GM, Arthur Seigmund, and let him know that now that we know Bella is welcome anytime, we won't be waiting for a once‑a‑year celebration anymore. Perry's has always been special to us -- but today, they made it feel like home.

My husband and I came here for the Bar 79 Social Hour. The bar area is nice and dimmed with high top, bar top, and booth seating. The social hour menu includes 7 items in three sections for $9 (e.g., appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wine). We had the Perry's pork chop bites, which comes with 3 small skewers of 3 bites each. It was good but small. The Truffle Spinach Artichoke Dip was delicious! We also had the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, which were good but I wasn't a fan of the tomato based sauce. I think it would have been better with a creamy, cheese sauce. The Salted Caramel Espresso Martini was very sweet and my husband didn't like it but he loved the Godfather Returns. I had the Thyme Lemon Drop Martini and it was delicious. Overall, I enjoyed the social hour and will come back again, especially since it's available on Sunday.

We dined here for my birthday in early October. We had a late reservation, but the restaurant wasn't crowded. They had high reviews for their pork chops but I'm a steak person. The waitstaff was attentive and my steak was good, except my lobster tail was a bit overcooked. My partner had the grilled oysters, and we ordered a couple of sides to share. We didn't eat much because we got full on the bread and appetizers. It was a weekday night, and we felt we we're overdressed. It's a very nice restaurant and the atmosphere is comfortable, but it is too dark. I had to pull out my cellphone to read the menu. It's pricey but if it's a special occasion I would say give it a try.

Come for the steak, stay for the sides and lemon drops. Came here for my birthday and what an amazing experience from start to finish! We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant is very dimly lit and romantic, very upscale. Our waiter, Jason, was wonderful. He brought out a birthday card that the staff had signed and left it on the table. We started off with the truffle spinach dip and a couple of cocktails to start. Then moved on to the steak and red wine. Of course we didn't stop there and also made sure to try the crème brûlée before we left, highly recommend. What a perfect way to spend my 36th birthday!

We went a birthday dinner. One friend asked about nuts in a desert and Hazel nut was not listed. It had Hazel nuts. It was not listed. She had to go to the Hospital because she had an allergic reaction. The waitress brought the checks. I spoke with manger and he seemed reluctant to not to charge her.

We came to celebrate an occasion with a friend. Making the reservation was simple and easy. We were sat fairly quickly and our drink order was placed very soon after sitting down. The steak tater tots were amazing. The steak was some of the most tender I've had. Crab cakes were also good with a hint of heat. This is where things got disappointing. My husband and I both ordered the pork chop because of how famous it is and my husband had had it previously and it was delicious. This time it was dry. The sides are $15 and definitely overpriced for the amount you get. I was honestly slightly disappointed with the food experience given how high the price point is. For a $300 dinner I felt like I left wanting a lot more. I probably won't be back unfortunately. I'll go to Flemings or taste of Texas next time.

decided to go here for Thanksgiving and let me tell you they didn't disappoint! The turkey was delicious and all the fixing were too. The service was stellar and the ambiance was great as everyone was in holiday spirit. Always love the pork chop but now add their turkey dinner with the fixings on Thanksgiving!!!

The ambience and service are great. Food was good but not the best. I ordered their ribeye and my husband got their NY strip for me I felt like the steak was a bit salty and drowning in seasoning I prefer the taste of meat. Their in-house sausage was good. Desserts were okay! It was a good experience over all.

We made reservations and were quickly seated when we arrived. The place is a bit dark when the sun goes down. Plenty of wine bottles lined up on the wall and a full bar. We went for their HRW menu. In addition to the regular menu, they gave a chef appetizer of Rockefeller Oyster. Nice touch. One comment though, when it was served, they put mine on top of the bread plate which I thought was odd. Oyster itself was very flavorful. For starters, we had the Jumbo Peri Peri shrimp and Jollof's Fire Bomb. The shrimps were just regular shrimps and was chewy. The Fire Bomb was tasty with brisket meat inside. We order the ribeye and fried red snapper for our mains. Suya Ribeye was very flavorful from the African spices. The jollof rice was delicious. My first time trying it. Kinda crispy and has a kick. Fried Fred snapper was well executed. My wife loved it. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was so dark that you can't really see your food to appreciate the effort that was put into it. It was a nice gesture that Chef Casey came out to talk to his customers. For desserts, we had the crème brûlée and banana fosters. Banana fosters was a big scoop of ice cream with couple slices of banana which was a bit disappointing. In comparison to other HrW restaurants, you can get more bang for the buck at other places. We would go back for the mains but skip the appetizers and desserts.

Good customer service isn't just about enforcing rules--it's about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the manager's approach, combined with the disappointing food, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.
