Wave/Astound is the absolute, hands down, worst service of ANY kind I have ever had. I am not a complainer, but I am truly flabergasted at the ASTOUNDING lack of customer service with this company. My most recent email/call into them was May 27th; today is June 15th and I still haven't heard from them. That is TYPICAL of my experience with them ever since I signed up in December. In the most recent round of attempts to get wifi that allows for 5 computers to do video sessions at once, I found that they upsold me an "Enterprise" account rather than a "Business" account (and that Enterprise accounts are usually reserved for the likes of hospitals). I have 5 therapists in 1000 square feet. By no stretch of the imagination are we an enterprise. Guess what? The only other group they sold an Enterprise plan to in our building is the other woman-owned business. And then it takes at least a month for them to answer any problems with their wifi. No number of calls or emails speeds up their response time. So, basically, I was sold a hospital-level plan without hospital-level support. And I'm paying big bucks for it (triple what I pay for internet in my other business location). read more

The absolute worst cable company on the planet. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! They changed their web site and now I can't stream any of the channels on my Roku that we are paying an ARM AND A LEG FOR!!! This has been like this for over a month! And the "average" wait time to get a customer service person on the line is over 30 minutes. Do NOT use this company. Very disappointed in the service the past month. I have lost TiVo and can't get anyone to answer their phone or respond to email. I lost voice mail for several weeks and went into office and was given wrong info....no help. Bad operation. read more

I been a loyal customer for 4 yrs and every year I have to complain because they have "promotions" on their service that expire (which they don't tell you when opening the account) my bill went from $71 to $110 and even after the promo was put on it still was $15 more a month than what I've been paying for over 2 yrs. This is unacceptable and not the way to treat loyal customers. I also pay for high speeds because I work from home and its never high it always lags and gives me issues. I called to speak to a rep to get it handled and get my bill back to what it should be and the automated machine illegally obtained a payment from me after I clearly said no multiple times (I have it recorded) now I have to wait 72 hrs for my money to be put back into my account. Also, after the call I asked for a survey from a supervisor to which he told me there was none but he "noted my account." I'm sure you didn't bud, that was prob strait up malarkey just like your services. If I could give them no stars I would. I will be canceling my services as of next month. I also will be looking into a law suit for illegally obtaining money from me with out my consent. read more

This company is honestly a joke there internet service is constantly going out and there isn't any logical explanation as to why they struggle so much to provide reliable internet my previous provider one of the other major company's in California never had nearly as many issues and corrected outages in a timely manner compare to multiple days of no internet looking into finding another service as soon as possible I wouldn't recommend this company to any I care about. They followed up on this review with ways in how I can contact them to get help on getting my service back up little did they know I was already doing so and have been waiting for 45 mins and counting still no representative like I said don't give these people your money. read more

less than zero stars!!!! there is no customer service and the wait on the phone to get help is always over an hour. i rent the equipment and they are telling me that their equipment needs to be replaced... i say replace it then...well it will be $10 more!!! i say... wait, i have been paying for upgraded internet and the equipment and it has been working off and on the whole time. now, they want me to pay for more equipment and an installation!!! are you kidding! just make it semi-work like it has for 3 years! nope, gotta pay more! omg, when they said to rent it instead of buying my own they say, oh that way we pay for it if it breaks!! what a freaking scam! this company is the exact opposite of amazon. good value and great customer service! this place is scummy-scamming trash!!!!! the public utilities commission will hear about this in a big long complaint. these idiots have made me wait on 8 hour appointment and a 4 hour appointment in the last 3 weeks and it still is not working!!!!! i hate wave!!! read more

If it wasn't for the fact the Wave is the only provider of high speed internet in Rocklin, I would go with any Mickey Mouse competitors. There are others but they can only provide less than 100 mbps. Wave makes you wait an ungodly amount of time when I call, they don't respect their service time frame and don't notify you when they run behind. I've been paying for 250 mbps but when we did a speed test, it only registered at 90. In other words, Wave falsely advertises their speed. They have come over multiple times and try...but they have never actually remedied our problem. On a positive note, their service technicians are usually professional and courteous. read more

We had Tv , ever and the works previously but the monthly price for raised constantly and out of control! Over 250.00 monthly! Cut the core except for internet only. Doing firestorm streaming now, much cheaper. Now we find out that there are usage limits that never were previously that augment the bill! Now our current bill is 90+! Internet only! These companies will not offer service in each other's area to avoid competion! read more

I'd give this review 0 stars if it was an option. I visited the store last week and was literally yelled at by a customer service representative who was male and 6ft 5, named Kenny. I was with my 6 year old and 4 year old daughters who had to unfortunately witness their mother in tears from a completely unexpected and unnecessary altercation from a clearly unstable employee. I went in to ask why my bill recently increased and was met by a lunatic who apparently needed to unleash his aggressive behavior on me. I was beyond appalled and when the aggressor decided to walk out of the building...yes the employee walked out after two of his female coworkers stepped into the situation after seeing me cry... I quickly paid my bill to remove myself and my children from the situation. Not only did I ask for a manager to call me, which he still has not (Jason Flowers) but NO ONE has followed up with me regarding the traumatic event. This is something out of a movie in which I wish I was never part of. read more

WHAT IS YOUR PHONE NUMBER? I want to upgrade my TIVO to "experience 4" (voice operated). Guy on the phone said I could bring in my old Tivo box and swap it out for a new voice activated one. I want to know if you have one before coming in. Guy couldn't find your phone - didn't even have a list of offices! Or you could e-mail me. What is your e-mail? A service rep on the phone said I could just swap out the remote and the current Tivo would do voice (needs a software upgrade?). So I don't know what the deal is. read more

OMG, this is the worst company EVER! How can they remain in business? Look at all these 1 star reviews..how often do you see unanimous 1 star reviews? The service with this company years ago when it was "Starstream" was wonderful. Ever since Wave changed their billing system (which I believe means another buy out) the service has been absolutely horrendous!!! We were paying extra for certain bundles--including HBO--which allowed us to stream those channels on other devices like our desktop or Roku. Once they changed their billing we could no longer stream these channels but were still charged! This went on for 4 months unresolved despite several phone calls (if you call customer service and are on hold for less than 30 minutes, count yourself lucky!) We ended up cancelling our cable with them and are using SlingTV instead. There are many more options out there now. Avoid this company at ALL costs. AT&T, Xfinity, DirectTV, anything but Wave. read more
