Beware. The manager pushes unethical practices. We were told we were getting two free Apple watches only to find out that night that we were wrapped into a three-year contract with all these additional costs associated. When I went back to ask the associate manager, who was there the next day to support me with getting this fixed, she told me she would not help me fix his problem and I needed to come back two days later when he was on the clock. Additionally, we found out later that he also changed our plan from what we discussed in order to finagle the "free watches" which ultimately is costing us more money. I felt so uncomfortable going back that I had to go to two other stores to try and get this rectified. This store is the worst and deserves zero stars from me. They told me the manager wasn't there and I found out later that was untrue among other things. Really? Nice. It is probably it is the same guy from all these reviews. I am cancelling my phone, and cutting all ties with this company. They have been billing a relative for 5 years for service they don't have, they refused to stop or cancel the account. I can prove we don't have the service, but they don't care. Honestly, I think you would be better off wth Xfinity or T-Mobile. I have spent hours on the phone with ATT being transferred sometimes to closed departments and sometimes to out of service numbers. Every other company I have dealt with about closing accounts has been great, with the possible exception of social security. Edit: Holy Cow! I just read the review about the manager hiding in the back room, and I think that is exactly what happened to me, except I didn't know ahead of time. Wow! Yelp is scary accurate. I don't usually write reviews however I thought that it was necessary to write about this one. At first glance I thought the customer service was great. I dealt with two employees who seemed nice enough but I just had a weird feeling that I couldn't trust what they were saying. I kept asking questions but never felt my questions were answered. My feeling was correct. I was told I would be paying a monthly amount and when the bill came it was double what I was told! I went back in to ask why and I have never dealt with such horrible customer service. I was talked down to and belittled. DO NOT go to this store. Understaffed store. We waited over an hour so far and we still have not been helped. I am writing this review out of boredom while at the store. They had a que of ten customers. On the positive side, they do have lots of tables and chairs to wait, and even a couch. The store is clean. The customer service rep was very friendly and efficient once she became available. Walked in to the store and had name and number put on the waiting list. They said we had to wait in the car because they didn't have enough customer service reps for us to wait inside. Bad customer service at this location. If you value your time use the AT&T website chat or 611 from your phone. I was having problems with my new device and I stopped in there last night and the assistant manager determined that my device was faulty and I would have to get a new device. He couldn't help me right then and there because the manager left for the day. He said stop in tomorrow and they'll be able to swap out my phone that was under warranty. Came back today and tried to do the curbside assist because of the pandemic and the person on the phone said, "We don't do phone exchanges here." I explained that I talked to the assistant manager last night and he told me to come back today and the person on the phone tells me to come inside the store with a mask. I proceeded inside the store and another person came up to assist me and I told him what the problem was and even before I was done talking he said "We don't do data exchanges here." I tried to explain that I wasn't here for a data exchange I was here to switch out my phone but again he cut me off and said, "we don't do that here." I told him I literally just talked to someone on the phone from the parking lot and he told me to come inside the store. After scanning my drivers license he goes in the back with another co-worker (which I believe was the manager) and comes back after 10 minutes and says he can't help me here but you'll have to go through the customer service line. He then said I can help you with that if I'd like and right before he finished I cut him off and said, "No need" and walked out. I had things resolved less than 20 minutes when I called 611 from my wife's phone. I won't be returning to this location for anything. read more

I am hoping this horrendous problem will be resolved tomorrow in the store. Went in to the store today to BUY a phone. When I got home I noticed that the clerk had billed me for two phones, one was paid for by my credit card and the other was added to my bill as a 30 month installment plan. How could someone screw something up so bad. I was very clear that I was purchasing the phone outright. Nothing on my account should have been touched. This was my go to store, after having bad experiences at the other local stores. I guess it is only the Apple store and phone support from AT&T for me from now on. Terrible service with Terrence. I had previously submitted a good review for this store, but I guess it depends on the employee. It wasn't a good interaction from the start. I didn't know my # for my prepaid hotspot device. After I had looked through my phone & Wallet to find the information I needed but couldn't I than asked can you use my SIM card. He said yes. That was very frustrating that after all that he could have used it. My device was present so he knew I had it. Than he tells he won't take care of me and would have to refer me to another employee, I was all too happy about that & let him know what I thought about his service. He asked me to leave the store and I did. I guess the moral of the story is you have to check in your issues at the door and represent the company you work for and not the mood you are in personally. Thank you for your response, I went to another store & it was a completely a different experience with exceptional customer service. I sincerely hope your staff can do better, I just knew right from the start I was going to have an issue. Anytime I have ever went into an AT&T store the customer service was great. I had a horrible experience on my visit into this store today. I also had a horrible experience about a year ago, that should have been a hint to stay away. Roughly a year and a half ago, beginning of March, my mom and I were coming up on our one year plan of eligibility to upgrade our phones. Long story short, we spoke with a gentleman who explained what both phones would cost and how much our bill would go up. (We went from iPhone 7s to iPhone 8+) Fast forward to the end of March. My mom was out of town and her birthday is the last week of March. I decided to go ahead and upgrade the phones for us. I had called multiple times to ensure that I could send her phone back once she got home from vacation. I knew it wouldn't be an issue because I've always had some time to send my old phone in after receiving my new phone. Mostly to ensure all of my information transfer correctly. Came here to complete my purchase and it was an issue not having her phone. I went somewhere else. They had no problem with that. However, once my mom got her first bill, our bill had gone up almost $80. Originally, we were told our phones would go up approximately $12 each. Not happy. At all. We went back and forth with the store and corporate and apparently the information written on a piece of people by the man helping us was in fact, incorrect. Now for today's review. Officially the new iPhones are out! While I am not eligible yet (darn it!) my boyfriend was looking into it. He currently has Cricket and wants the new phone, but doesn't want to pay full retail price. We got there, had to wait for about 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our presence. Once someone checked us in, they said there was six people ahead of us. No big deal. We were never asked why we came in or anything - we normally are asked. We waiting for roughly ninety minutes for someone to help us. Mind you, while waiting, we were next on the list to be helped... One employee had just finished up with a set of customers. Excited that we'd be next in line (as prompted on the screen) he sat down and helped a different gentleman, not on the list. I was ready to get up and leave. Ninety minutes for six people?! Finally, our greeter came over and asked, "why was it that you came in again?" I explained I wanted to get prices to add a line onto my mom and mines current plan. He told us it was $20 to add the line. I explained which phone he was looking to get and he immediately walked away to see if he had it in stock. I had clearly stated we were here to talk numbers. Once I reiterated that, he asked if we had anymore questions. So, if we had no intentions of purchasing a phone, we are placed on the back burner? I wanted to confirm the prices. $20 for the line, roughly $45 dollars for the phone itself (over 24 months) - adds up to about $65, right? According to the representative we were matched with, "that doesn't include taxes... so we're looking at about $80." Wait, what?! Avoid this place at all costs. We didn't even get a "thank you" for coming in or an "I'm sorry for the wait." I'll be wasting more of my weekend at a different location to confirm numbers I could've apparently gotten the moment I walked in. read more

I don't know if it's like this at EVERY ATT store, but going here is easily worse than going to the DMV. You are greeted by an unfriendly person at the door who generally informs you that it will be around - no less, than 45 minutes for you to see a sales person. I've had walk-ins at the doctor see me faster. After meandering around for said 45 minutes you are no closer to speaking to a sales rep. When you approach one for a quick question they give you the whole "I'm not working with you - it's not your turn" look. If I never had to go back to this store I wouldn't. Also, one rude associate didn't have an answer if my plan would work in Puerto Rico or not - since it's not "part of the US and has a different president." - Um, what?! I'm better off finding the answers on my own than asking someone at this useless store. read more

I got a new iPhone X from this location less than 2 weeks ago, and suddenly this morning it told me it had no SIM card. Since it's the day before Thanksgiving and I didn't even know what a SIM card was, I just didn't have time for this. I rushed to this store where we got the phone and it was very crowded - again, the day before Thanksgiving. Sadly I admit the stress of not having time for a new phone to break the day before Thanksgiving got to me, and when 5 minutes passed after I entered the store and no one was making any attempt to acknowledge or help me, I was quite rude to a salesperson, who reassured me I'd be helped in a few minutes. Long story short, big kudos to that salesperson Kirsten, who was very professional and tried a few things then was able to pop the SIM card out and back in, and that seems to have fixed it. Granted I am not at all thrilled that the SIM card somehow became so loose that my phone stopped working less than 2 weeks after purchasing it, and if it happens again I'm going to need a new new phone - BUT I also learned today that because the account is in my husbands name, they would not have been able to assist me without him present. That seems weird and extreme and thank God popping out the SIM card didn't also require my husband to have his morning wasted along with mine because my new phone is already glitchy. So this would be a one star review for a crap quality phone, but *****kudos to Kirsten for her patience with my frustration and attitude and flat out bitchiness. She didn't manufacture the possibly defective phone nor was she the one who sold it to us. She just cleaned up the mess and for that, I am very grateful. THANK YOU KIRSTEN! I will heed your advice and make sure my husband puts my name on the account ASAP so if SIM card comes loose that easy I can get a replacement phone because I have severe neuropathy in my hands, they shake like mad and I don't have the fine motor skills needed to pop a SIM card out on a regular basis ... and frankly, nor should I have to, with what an iPhone costs!! read more

Went there to get a new phone, they informed me I could only get $350 for a trade-in. But if I fixed my screen, I could get the full $700. Ended up coming back a few days later without fixing my screen, was just going to bite the bullet and take $350. Go through the entire process of giving them all my info, which plan, etc., but when I pick out my new phone they don't have the size and color. Fine. Not a big deal. So they help me order one at another store. I leave here and run up to pick up the new one at another AT&T store, where they give me $700 for the same phone! Apparently AH is a "corporate" store, so stay away if you want the best deal! AH also couldn't get me HBO Max (for free) while the other store did as well! read more

Terrance (manager) and his employees couldn't properly return a phone. I had to call back because they left a $130.00 tax charge on my bill for a phone I already returned, just further wasting my time. It took them an hour just to figure out how to process the return in store and even still obviously didn't get it right. Don't buy your phones from AT&T, they charged me a $50 restocking fee, even though I returned the phone next day unopened! read more

After shattering my iPhone's screen, I purchased my friends previously used HTC One. The issue in swapping service between the devices was the incompatibility between SIM cards due to the size of the card. I was naturally a small degree timid to walk into the beautiful next gen store because I had no intentions on purchasing a new device (especially because I just got this one) but then I was greeted at the door by two professionally and classy dressed women whom I figured were there to greet, but that was when I was introduced by one of them as Elizabeth. She was much more than just a greeter, she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courtious, and best of all.. determined to get me back on my way with the phone that I walked in with. Elizabeth asked me right off the bat if I would need help syncing contacts, although little did she know, my HTC One was ahead of the game and did it all through Bluetooth for me in a matter of minutes, prior to the visit because I'm so technologically savvy. Elizabeth found common ground and made the experience more pleasant than just the service experience it could have began as. Lastly, she took time to discover if AT&T could currently do anything more for my other needs such as U-verse, cable, or other services for my home,she then gave me the quote. I left and noticed that my data did not work so when I walked back in, she was already working with another customer, however at that time her coworker stepped right in and corrected my phones settings to allow the data to flow. Worst experience ever in phone store. Was totally discriminated against be Terrance and his gestapo buddies. Put name in then was told to wait outside there were 2 people ahead of me and there were 12 people in the 5000 square feet store. Waited outside for 1 hour and 10 minutes. During that time 6 people plus 2 employees left the store. One customer before me decided to leave and she made a reservation for another day. In short I went back into store, Terrance told me to leave leave and said he wouldn't wait on me because by the time I would be up the store would be closed. When I questioned him he just said I'm asking you to leave. I said I'm not leaving you'll need to call the police. By the time my daughter told me to go to another store, I was still awaiting the police. If you're Jewish and you wear a Star of David or other religious symbol, I usually have mine under my shirt but noticed it was on the outside when Terrance kept starring at my chest don't go there if you want to be waited on. Everything about this particular location is bothersome. If you attempt to call the store for even the most basic inquiry rarely does anyone answer. This is not just a one off call. It's anytime I've attempted to call. Over and over and over. I thought man they must be busy... their not. When I have visited the store in person there is usually an over abundance of staff. Typically 2 or three associates pacing around with iPads in their hands trying to look busy while glancing down at there cell phones and texting. The rest sitting with customers. I have also been there when hardly any staff was present. No door greeting, nobody was around to ask me what I needed. I stood around for l15 minutes until somebody finally came over to me. Then I was told that I need an appointment and that there were 4 others ahead of me in the que. total wait time..... come back to tomorrow. Not the best experience. First sales associate was very pushy. We only wanted to purchase two new phones and he wanted us to purchase everything else too. Wife wanted an iphone6, but he insisted on the iPhone7. We thought we bought the iPhone6 but he grabbed a iphone7 instead (maybe by mistake). The two phones look exactly the same. He emailed us the receipt. When we got home we noticed he charged us for the iPhone 7. We went back to the store and we dealt with another sales associate who was extremely helpful and courteous. He helped my wife set up the iPhone 6 and refunded us the difference. The manager was also very helpful. read more

Honestly, if I could give this review ZERO stars I would, but here we go: Came in here to exchange the Otterbox Defender case I got for my iPhone 8 3 weeks ago. Both items were purchased from this location. The home button protector began to get dirt under it and it started to "bubble up", which to my understanding shouldn't be happening as I had this kind of case for my iPhone 6 and never had this issue. Before I could really explain my situation to the Retail Sales Consultant i approached when I walked in, who's name is Alan Castro, he began to tell me how it wasn't defective, I needed to clean it (even though I tried and it still did this), and that if I wanted a replacement I needed to go through Otterbox (even though I had purchased the item through his store). He then took my case apart and took the front plate of it into the back to I guess, I don't know, "clean" or "fix it" for me(?). Afterwards he put my case back on my phone, told me it was good, and then did the same as before by telling me all about how it wasn't defective and I'd need to go through Otterbox as I tried one last time to voice my concerns. By this point I'd had enough and asked for his name and employee number, to which he gave me his card (which I've included below and in the photos for this page for you all to see). Once I got home, I called the AT&T Customer Service and was able to file a complaint with one of the representatives who located Alan and his employee number in the system, and assured me she would pass on this complaint to her superiors and such. If you happen to come into this location, I'd highly recommend you request to not have Alan assist you, or if he is assigned to assist you that you request someone else. It'd more than likely save you from receiving poor customer service and would get you some actual help from someone who will listen to your needs. read more

Find another location. This is the least helpful spot with associates standing around listening to music. They are not knowledgeable and do not know how to problem solve situations. They just flat out don't care, they are sales associates and not tech reps. If you need to talk to a manager he will hide in the backroom and send out a messenger and to communicate for him. The District Manager should be ashamed of this place. They are bleeding money out the door with over scheduling staff that stand around and are not attentive. I wish I could put a 0 or a negative number for the stars, but I cannot. read more

I am not a techie. I do not have the fastest fanciest gadgets. If my phone still worked I still would be using it to make calls and text. Sadly it was time to upgrade. Got to my local store at 9:30am (should have checked hours first). I left and came back at 9:58am. When the doors were unlocked I was the fourth person in line. Cory greeted me moments after I signed in. I explained what I thought I was looking for. We went over a couple phones and he looked up my bill. He was very patient with me and all my dumb questions. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received. I can only comment on my rep. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough and centainly knows his business.
