First and foremost, I never write yelp reviews and I had to take the time to describe how bad of an experience I had at this location. So I have an iPhone 7, cracked screen that is paid off. I came into this location simply because there were no guest present. I thought I would have a super easy visit today. I came into the store and was given Damien as my representative. He showed a lack of knowledge of the product or pride in his job - I asked him the difference between 3 of the iPhone 11s and he said honestly it's not any. He didn't try to persuade me or give any stellar service, but at the same time I throughout ok I'll just buy the phone and call it a day. After paying for the phone he explained the steps to set it up for me to leave and I asked if I could just stay in the store to set it up if I had questions he said sure but you can't mess it up if you go home. I decided to stay in the store, he stayed near me I'm assuming because he felt obligated not to leave however he was on Instagram watching videos as I struggled to transfer the data from one phone to the other (the process wasn't hard it's just that either the current phone I had was defected or the new one was defected). After being in the store for 30 minutes, I asked him if I left would it still be able to complete without WiFi. He said yes, so I left to remove myself from the store and contact with others (half the representative weren't practicing social distancing and didn't use their mask properly- Damien did not). I get home and my phone would not transfer it's data- took 3 different phone resets and I decided to go back to the store. Long story short- I get to the store Damien says it's an apple glitch and I either need to pay for more data in iCloud or I can return the phone and pay $50 dollar restock fee. I'm surprised because I came in to buy a new phone and now being penalized because of a so called Apple glitch and have to make more payments. I vocalized my frustration and he said he grab a supervisor. The supervisor came and then argued with me on paying either more for iCloud or the restock fee, because I didn't budge they then got the manager who said they should waive the restock fee and return my phone. Needless to say, I spent over 3 hours dealing with representative who do not value the customer experience and chose to lose a customer than to resolve the issue. The supervisor or manager didn't come to speak with me or apologize for the inconvenience, just told the Representative Damien to refund me. Please, if anything, do not go to this location if you value good service and want to get a quality phone. read more

When I purchased my iPhone 6 here around this time last year, I had an overall good experience. Sure, my bank account got emptied out, but I was satisfied with the service and the time they took to explain the Next plan to me. I realized that the AT&T insurance plan is not worth it. Don't get me wrong, it's not this location's fault that they needed to see me this insurance to make commissions. I get it. But I beg you, if you're going to get insurance on your iPhone or Apple product, please do it through Apple. When I came here to ask about fixing a cracked screen with my insurance plan, they handed me a pamphlet, in which all I needed to take away from it was the phone number or website to submit a claim. There's no need to even go to the store, apparently, because they can't do anything about it. What I like about going to the Apple Store is that they will take the time to listen to your concerns and return you a fully functional new (or fixed) phone. I hated leaving AT&T that afternoon without having any closure or comfort in the fact that my phone could be fixed. I do enjoy the service of my carrier, AT&T, and I did enjoy the service I received when buying a new phone. But when asking for help FIXING the phone you bought at that location, don't waste your time. They just sell things to you and take your money, they can't do much more than that. read more

It's upsetting to leave a poor review for this location. I purchased an iPad Pro 512mb and iPhone Pro Max 512mb during the middle of January 2022(as a gift to myself). Initially, the associate placed an order for both devices in a 256mb(which I mentioned I did not want because my iPhone Pro 11 is a 516mb and I need to keep it the same for storage purposes) something he agreed he was going to correct in the system upon having my phone shipped/ delivered to the Los Angeles(because i was set to travel). Days later, my phone arrived as a 256mb. I was told from the AT&T rep. who delivered my devices for activation to exchange it at the original store and don't unbox it. Once I arrived back to the original store the associate was unable to refund or exchange my phone so I can order the proper device(I don't know why he couldn't provide a valid reason). The AT&T rep suggested I go to the Apple store @ Perimeter Mall to exchange for a 512mb since the store was sold out, which Apple forwarded me back to the AT&T , I went back to the original store for 2hrs+ while an AT&T rep. couldn't process the exchange, I asked to speak with the mngr and was forwarded to the asst. manager which I was told again for the third time that my order would be exchanged. I was promised a follow up call(which never happened) and that all was going to be sorted by end of day. Now, I'm beyond my 2wk exchange/ rtn policy at AT&T(no other AT&T retailer will accepted an exchange) and I've yet to hear from the store manager from the original location. I followed up with the store asst. manager today and still nothing has been done. I really thought something as simple as an exchange(not a return) could be processed in-store however I was wrong. WHY is this so challenging? WHY hasn't the Store Mngr contacted me after I've spent a total of 3hrs+ trying to solve this matter in store and more on my personal time? This is so frustrating and all roads keep leading to a dead end to manage the exchange. Now, I'm stuck with a new iPhone Pro Max 256mb(unboxed) which my current phone won't transfer to due to storage space. May I please have some assistance in rectifying this matter? What a nightmare. I retired from AT&T, have cell service with them for a long time. Wanted to order a couple of new phones so went to their website. It will only allow me to order one phone even though I have two lines on the account. Phones and shipping were free but the site insisted that I provide a credit card number. I called their "customer no service", was transferred twice and the end result is "we don't maintain the website". Pretty odd that AT&T doesn't maintain their own website and can't refer problems to their internal support group. Even stranger that no one I spoke to seemed to care. So I picked myself off the floor and am shopping for a new carrier. Bottom line is RUN to another carrier. We were greeted upon arrival by Nard New, an outstanding employee and overall wonderful person. He immediately assessed all of our options, thoroughly explaining each to us. We were trying to get a flip phone for my grandmother; I know, flip phones are so 90's but bless her heart she is 80 years old still feisty and just can't get on the touch screen bandwagon. We found a razr on ebay and ordered it, but unfortunately the China brand one just isn't compatible with the band waves here so we hit the net again in search of a flip phone that will work here. We settled on the LG A380 and started calling the nearby AT&T stores to find availability. This is an easy, easy request. We called 3 of the surrounding stores: Briarcliff, Perimeter and Gwinnett. The Briarcliff location did not have anymore unfortunately, but what totally blew me away was the attitude of the rep at the Perimeter location. When I inquired about the phone, her response was that they did not give out inventory status over the phone. Um, excuse me, but this isn't the latest iPhone or Galaxy 6 I'm calling about. It's a $20 flip phone. Stunned, I asked again for clarification that I would have to drive down there and go into the store for a simple request and essentially wasting time. Yes, she said to which I responded that's retarded (sorry, I was not PC in my response). I hung up and called the Gwinnett location, not only were they able to verify they had the phone in stock after a 50 second hold, but was able to put one aside so that I can purchase one today. So, if these are all corporate stores, why was 1 holding out on me? This is crazy that they couldn't help me over the phone with a very, very simple, kindergarten request. My Verizon Contract was up, and I have a work Blackberry, was set to just cancel out the personal cell number after 10+ years. The new iPhone 3GS came out, and my love for Apple out weighed anything else. I ordered the new 3GS with Greg on Tuesday. Confirmation and all, told to show up on Friday. Arrived at 6:30 with pre order, to find out that it was not ready, but to rest assured, they had plenty. I entered the store, they handled the demand really well, no crazy line inside the store, just orderly outside. One hiccup, was told that my pre order not in and to come back in a few days, after waiting an hour. The District Manager and stepped in, assured me no problem, and handled it all. Upsold me on the case, and ensured I had the needed accessories. Was out of the store within 30 minutes with two new iPhones. The staff member that was helping me was trying really hard to make it the best experience. Prior to the store opening the CEO of ATT Wireless was meeting with the customers outside, just talking. With the hiccup, it was turned around really quick. I received my bill, had activation charge, which is waived under our corporate discount. Emailed the Manager, and it was removed quickly (since the 611 told me they could do nothing). Impressed with the store (not with the 611). Pitty to see the bad reviews...I myself had a very different experience. My aunt and I went to this AT&T store to add a line to an existing account. We were immediately greeted by a young guy who told he would have someone be with us in a moment. And just as we turned around to look at phones, another gentleman greeted us and logged us in to be seen next. Within 2 minutes a young lady named Jamaka came and assisted us with our selection. She was very helpful and thoroughly explained all of our options for adding another line of service, and even told us how we could save a little on the bill. She was honest and very bubbly. Towards the end of our visit her manager Matt came over to make sure that all out ducks were in a row and that we were good to go. Matt and Jamaka have a very good chemistry together that made things run smoothly. I really appreciated their time and help! They were awesome! I would recommend going to the store to ask for them. Worst run store Ive been to and I just purchased 2 new iPhones at $800 each and added a 3rd line last week. Waiting in line for 30 minutes w/ a toddler just to return a phone case (2 min transaction). I brought it to the manager's attention someone should be able to help w/ such transactions. He just looked at me and said someone would help me between people getting service. Well average transaction for service is 1-3 hours... I told him that was absurd and started to walk off. Here goes my wonderful story. Back in June, I walked into this store to terminate my contract. I had two lines and have been paying more than $120 every month. After spending some time, one of representative (a guy) told me that everything was well taken care of and I can just take off with no worries (because I was about to leave the country for a while... yes, I am out of the country at this moment). As of today, my wife checked out our bank account and told me that we are still being charged and it was almost $300 so far. I called the ATT customer service only to hear that there was no cancellation notice whatsoever. It turns out that I still hold an active account. What a story~~~~~~~~~~~~ I became so mad, but ATT told me there is nothing they can do about. No refund!!! Huh... ATT and an idiot guy from this store... made one of worst day of this year. Unless you are meticulous enough to double (or triple) check ongoing services, you would not want to use services in this store even though store workers treat you well with nice smile. Also, I am furious about ATT. Their employee made a reckless mistake and I pay the price for it? What a service from ATT. Shame~ This is my last experience with ATT ever. I like AT&T's service (on my phone) but every time I go in to buy a new phone or something, I want to pull my hair out. The sales people are pushy, unmotivated to do anything that won't up their bottom line and not really all that educated about the items they are selling. I was an AT&T Wireless customer for almost 10 years. I cancelled my service because they are now much more expensive that the competition. I cancelled my service a couple weeks before the end of my contract, and was charged an early termination fee. I tried speaking to customer care, but useless. This store will never see me again after today. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I stopped by because after months of negotiating with me, I agreed to get a shared plan and switch from Verizon to AT&T. I regret going to this store. Through the purchase process, everything seemed fine. Everyone was nice and I had a great experience. I thought it was way better than what I usually had at Verizon. I got home that evening and noticed a tiny, less that 1/4 inch crack in the corner of the phone screen. It's barely noticeable and I was only able to see it under a bright bathroom light. If I had seen it before, I probably would have dismissed it as a hair stuck to the screen. Even now, you only see if it you know to look for it. I returned to the store early the next day and I spoke to Robert (salesman) and a manager who's name was Marvis. I told them that since I had the phone it had only been in my hand and sitting on flat surfaces. That it had not been banged or dropped and that the crack was so tiny I really thought it had to have been there all along and no one could see it under the darker light in the store. They, then, disappeared to watch camera footage of the phone to determine that they hadn't dropped it and returned to claim I had scratches all over the screen and it was obviously damage caused by me. I have looked at this phone in sunlight and bright room lighting and I don't see a single scratch so I think they made that up. They then brought all of their sales associates over to bully me and tell me how obvious the scratch was and how I should have seen it right away. I'm sitting here looking at the phone now and from 1 foot away unlit and cannot see it. It is not an obvious crack. Mostly, I find it interesting that the only device on our plan purchased with insurance just happens to be the only one identified to have a crack within a few hours of buying it. So, I tried to talk to them and started getting upset because they insisted on treating me a like a scammer trying to get an iPhone replaced that she broke instead of a human being and a customer they cared about. They advised me to file an insurance claim for a replacement. Yes, I understand that they probably do get people who do things like this and try to scam them. I have never done anything like this. Most people accuse me of being too nice about customer service issues. So, for the maybe handful of us who really are asking for help, being treated like a scammer was devastating and degrading. Not to mention that unless they were watching footage of the phone from the time is was manufactured, packaged, shipped, unloaded, stocked, and given to me; they honestly have no way of knowing it wasn't damaged before it made it to me. I called AT&T corporate customer service. I spoke to an incredibly nice guy named Greg who talked me down because we were ready to send everything back for a refund and go back to Verizon. He treated me like a human he valued and explained that sadly their corporate policy was that they couldn't replace it after it had left the store but advised me that filing an insurance claim was pointless because it was too expensive. He talked to me about how if it's really that minor it won't impact the phone and if it becomes a problem, I can replace the screen at Apple for $90. He was so nice I felt better by the end; even though I truly do not believe I cracked this phone. Had the store been this friendly and helpful rather than assuming the worst and bullying me, I would have left with a much more positive attitude even though I'm still sad about the crack. Afterwards I talked my boyfriend down from returning everything and cancelling our contract since he was mostly upset about the treatment I had received. I DO NOT trust this store. I DO NOT trust this situation. I WILL NEVER return to this store again. I would advise anyone to go somewhere else even if they have to drive far out of their way to. Don't know if this is the corporate page or what but I highly do not appreciate the folks y'all had walking my neighborhood Friday!! Literally knocked on my door 4 different times and as we were walking out to go run an errand, your guys were walking up my driveway and I confronted them about knocking on my door all hours of the day!!! Highly rude and very, VERY unprofessional!! And though I have no problem with giving bottles of water out, I didn't have any and yet they still asked for a glass of water knowing we were leaving! (I usually keep bottles of water for the cable man, security man, etc that comes to the house and actually works!!) once they were given a glass of water, and after telling them we have comcast and are not planning on switching, they decided themselves to stay, once again knowing we were leaving the house!, and try to talk us into switching for another 15 minutes!! If this ever happens again, I will be getting in contact with BBB about the harassment. This is a review specifically on customer service from this particular location. Dealing with an iPhone hardware issue, I bounced back and forth between this AT&T store and the Apple store. There was no resolve from either source which brings me to needing to purchase a new phone from my carrier, AT&T. My first trip to the store, Ashley was a huge help in presenting my options. My second trip to the store, however, was one of the worst customer experiences to date for me. Beware of Melissa! She wasn't helpful at all and even had an attitude when having to explain all of my options. As a consumer, I should be able to ask many questions as possible to ensure I'm making an informed decision about a purchase. I shouldn't be answered with "Well, what are we not understanding here?" I get we all have bad days and maybe we don't like our jobs even, but this doesn't excuse you from basic manners of being cordial especially in a customer retail business. If it's any consolation to anyone, she even apologized for the behavior afterwards. I'm sorry, I don't want an apologetic representative. I rather have a representative that will do their job without the attitude. Would I visit the store again? Sure, it was nothing personal to the company. This place is run by a group of incompetent criminals. The salesman and managers are lazy and lie through their teeth. I went in to get a new phone and consolidate my existing lines. By doing so, I was told that it would save me hundreds. In fact I was charged over $1500. A minor detail the salesman failed to mention. I know that's not entirely his fault but he and the manager failed to return shy phone calls. Furthermore, they have screwed up the lines. A problem six months later they have failed to correct. I have wasted hours on the phone and going to this stare. Finally, every person in there looks like they are as likely to steal your wallets as they are to sell you a phone. This store is horrible... we were quickly written off nobody helped us or greeted us so we left, we came back an hour later and when someone did help us they always stopped and helped the WHITE customers that came in and we were past around to every employees. We had got called NUTS for trying to find the best deals, when we were finally ready to purchase our items we had asked them 3x's to make sure they had the right items and we were told not to worry about it. When we reached the car and reviewed the receipt we had found that they had charge us an extra phone case. When we went back to the store to tell Chasity what she had done she had told us that we had to wait and for someone to help us, when we had express to her that we had to go get the kids form camp we were told that was not her fault and she continued to go back and forth with us instead of just walking away and apologizing. I would never step foot into this store again it was the worst mistake of our lives we were so upset to the point we were thinking of returning back to Verizon because we are still in our 14 days trail period. read more

Went to the store to cancel my TV and internet at the home I just moved out of and to set up only internet at my new home. It took a while to cancel because my account had been converted to another account (not sure how or why, I was told att does this) and had to be transferred to multiple different people on the phone. While this was frustrating, our representative Larry H. Was amazing and did all of the talking and calling for us. Next came the big problem of overriding the previous renter of our new home so we could connect our internet. This was a headache and took a total of 2 hours (after the hour it took to cancel old service). They wanted to speak directly to landlord but for some reason their calls were not coming to his cell even though we and the representative were able to call him and speak with him multiple times. We had to speak to a couple different supervisors to figure out how to do this a different way because they were wanting us just to have the landlord call and go thru this big process even though we had the lease saying we lived at our new address and had been in the home already. We even had the att person on the phone speak to the landlord on speaker through our phone that we were talking to the landlord on but att still said that wouldn't work as proof that we were the current residents unless they called landlords phone directly. This was super frustrating and stupid, but I had to give good stars ONLY because of the local store representative Larry and all his patience and hard work to get this approved for us to connect internet. Big ATT company sucks but Larry was awesome. read more

I bought a case from this location a couple weeks ago and came in to return it without a receipt (do not think I even got one, nor did I care in my moment if I had). Seemed easy and was told it would be no problem until they pulled up my account and said they could not locate the record, so I was basically out of luck because I had no receipt and there was no record on the account. In any other store, they can simply scan the barcode of the item and find the payment. I showed them my bank statement showing the exact day that this transaction took place (even included the store number) and they still could not locate it. Curious as to how they sold me an item without putting It on my account when he had to look up my account info in the first place when I purchased my phone case. Bottom line is it is not my fault that the store did not keep record of this case. Initially, they insisted there was nothing they can do and gave me no other option but to keep the case i had because of a mistake they made... That does not work for me. It has now been 40 minutes of me waiting in the lobby (there is only one other customer in the store) for them to locate the receipt that they keep in the back. There has to be a better process then 1) keeping your customers waiting for this long and 2) resolution when an employee makes a mistake. Disappointed with this visit as this is now my second time at this store trying to return this case that I do not want. The fact that I had to resort to writing a yelp review is pretty sad, considering I never use yelp and always try to give employees in the sales/customer service industry the benefit of the doubt. I was totally misslead towards the $14.95 per High Speed internet promotion. When I first signed up they never mentioned that I had to obtain wireless or televison service to get this 12 month promotional. So I signed up and to my surprise the first bill came for 75.00. I immediately called they simply told me that it takes about 3 billing cycle (3 months) for the special offer to take place and that they would credit the money back. On the 3 billing cycle once again, told me to wait another 2 more billing that it would be corrected. Finally when I called after the 2 more billings (total 5 months) cycles they tell me that the promotion was if I got additional service such as wireless telephone or television to get the promotion of the $14.95 internet service. When I asked for a supervisor, I asked why this was never mentioned to me from all my previous calls she said she was sorry that it is written in small print in the post card advertisement (that i still have with no small or large print stating this) At this point I was livid and totally disgusted at how such a reputable company can do this. I am seriously considering switching to a different provider after the experience my husband and I just had at this location. The girl who "helped" us was completely rude when we asked questions about our account. Her attitude, as well as the numerous frustrating phone calls we've had with AT&T, makes me sad to think that this provider would treat longtime customers as if they mean nothing to them. If this location is supposed to be a representation of the company, then I pity all of us who are locked into the hell that is the AT&T contract. read more
