Anwar messed up. I came to upgrade my iPhone and therefore I was told that I only owed $42 to finish paying off my phone when I offered to pay the $42 he told me that I needed to wait until the phone came in then when the phone came in to come into the store pay the 42 and then I would be able to upgrade. Well I came into a different store we started the transfer and then when it was time for me to pay the $42 that was not possible. instead of doing an upgrade he did the next up which was not what was supposed to happen. It was supposed to be a fair trade of how much ever the phone was supposed to cost. So now it looks like I owe for the new iPhone when in reality I don't. So when we called the store Dominic picked up the phone and admitted that Anwar messed up the upgrade process. Mind you the store is about an hour away from where I live and they want me to come all the way back out there but not try to fix it while I'm in another store closer to my house. My parents Pastor L. O. Lang and Mrs Alice Lang visited the store around 4:30 p.m. today because she's been having trouble with her phone and was looking to buy a new phone. They live out of town and decided to drive to Att store in Bastrop. They received TERRIBLE customer service from a guy who didn't have name tag but he was a tall guy that had rings in his nose and round rimless glasses. My parents said he was very rude and did not try to assist her in getting a new phone. My dad had a question about his phone and the guy just went up in his shoulders. I don't know if he just treats older customers this way are all customers.My mother ended up going to Best Buy spending a lot of money on a new phone. My mother and father were very frustrated because of the poor service they received and because they had to spend so much out of pocket somewhere else to get a new phone unnecessarily. The customer service they got at Best Buy was Superb! I feel something needs to be done to compensate my parents for the AWFUL customer service they received at the Bastrop AT&T store. I always recommend going into the store to make any changes to your account or if you have any questions. My family called into the AT&T number and made changes that way, and all it did was screw our bill up and cause us a ton of extra charges. Cory was great today and really helped us understand what happened and how to resolve it. Highly recommend going into the store to get help. read more

As I have come to expect on 9-14-2025 I went in with a damaged phone covered by the insurance they sell you at the time you get the phone. Turns out that they see a damaged phone come out of your pocket and immediately dismiss you as "insurance is through a third-party" they do no in store replacements or repairs, and have no interest in helping you understand the process. The slowest service for the simplest of issues. I've sat here sadly for 2hrs observing the issues people are coming in with. Insane to wait an hour to have the store pay your bill but some folks I assume are limited. The other issue when people come in they need to be ready: what you need? What color? Any added accessories choice? And be done. The Apple Store although more employees moves way faster through these same issues. I am extremely baffled at the delays in this store. It's not worth the time, thankfully I am only here to aid with a family member. I'm Verizon all the way and definitely only deal with the more experienced Apple support! In Sept 2022 we went in to separate an account We spent two hours in the store getting it taken care of, the notes were on the account so all the other person had to do is walk in with ID. When he showed up the sales man lied about having the notes on the account and talked him into getting a whole new account, in doing so this left the old number and balance live and not transferred. We immediately attempted to get it sorted out but it has taken until today June 6th 2023 to not only get it cancelled but our credit as well. Today AT&T refunded over $900 because of a fraudulent sales rep wanting a commission vs actually serving a customer. The manager knows exactly what happened and how the staff is doing this but has done nothing to stop it because it goes towards store numbers. Store has terrible customer service and the manager is a smart ass. Went to the store to figure out what happened with a recent new service and billing issue different from what I was sold. Waited forever and the sales rep and manager did not care to keep me as a customer and make it right saying 'I don't know what you want me to do'. Left and called customer service to cancel service. Unhelpful. I went in for an upgrade and was shortly told that they didn't have the phone I wanted and there was nothing they could do. In the past they would have ordered the phone to the store for me and helped me with my plan. Now I have to try to do it myself online. It's a very complicated process and I just wanted to walk out knowing I had done it correctly. Not to mention I got there at 10:04, they opened at 10:00 and there was already a sign on the door saying they were in the restroom and they'd be back later. read more

This store doesn't stand by their products at all, which to me, is totally unacceptable! The product I purchased never worked, and was hoping to get a replacement. Joseph agreed it wasn't working, but too bad, you're stuck with it, because it was past the 14 days. We had purchased it prior to leaving for our vacation, that's why we couldn't meet the 14 days! My iPhone cable is starting to fray. Most of the stores in the area don't have genuine Apple cables and I didn't want to wait for Amazon to send one. So, on the way back to Austin from Bastrop, my plan was to visit Best Buy when I saw the AT&T store in the same parking lot. Good news. This location has a wide variety of iPhone products. I managed to find an AT&T braided cable that compares favorably to a lot of the products sold on Amazon. The trade-off was the slightly higher price point, but when you need a replacement cable, you can't always wait. On another positive note, I didn't have to do the usual "sign-in" routine. I found what I wanted and one of the sales staff noticed I was just there for a phone accessory and rang me up. All in all, a much quicker experience than a big box store and a similar selection. read more

I had a FANTASTIC experience with Caesar at the ATT store in Bastrop. Now I have a new iPhone 13 pro. I know how to use it. All my "stuff" was moved over comfortably. And I feel good about a small monthly payment for a tool a depend on daily to stay on top of my small business. Traded in an iPhone 7. Was not excited about loosing "the button". Usually an okay store. But, today Dominic, one of the "managers", was rude end impudent. In addition, it was disappointing to see him demonstrate such poor leadership skills for rest of the team--while bragging that he was going 'above and beyond' in his handling of my situation. Overall the team at this store has been polite and I've appreciated their efforts to resolve a nightmare created by the telephone sales folks back in July. However, this young man is definitely one of the entitled generation we hear so much about. He explained that he could have made me call customer service and that would have been horrible. Hard to imagine I could have been treated with more disrespect. When I mentioned that he was a service provider and I am a customer of that service, he flatly disagreed. Apparently that was not included in his training. We went in planning to buy another iPhone X and add my partner to our plan, but after seeing the treatment I received from Dominic, he decided to go elsewhere. We are noticing that seniors are not getting served well lately. As a 70 year old woman, I am beginning to dread dealing with these young people who feel they are privileged. After visiting this store a dozen or so times over the last two years, I reached a breaking point. The employees--with very few exceptions--were constantly unpleasant and combative, the wait times grew increasingly unbearable, and random charges would pop up on my account a few times every year. We tried to give them time to weed out the bad apples and correct their money-grabbing habits, but we could not justify giving our money to such a sketchy and unappreciative company. We switched to Patriot Mobile and the difference is night and day. The employees are always friendly and professional, there are no more random charges on our bill, and the coverage is great. We are so happy we made the switch. If you are unhappy with AT&T, try the others until you find a company that values your business and treats you with dignity. AT&T thinks they don't have to earn your hard earned money. Show them they are wrong. read more

If you value your time and sanity....go anywhere else. They are more interested in pushing whatever is the latest and greatest than actually helping their customers. Just tried to sign up purchasing three lines and three phones the Samsung S9+, and then after running credit they quoted a number that was feasible, I was then supposed to get an email confirmation to verify information, the next email I received was a cancellation notice. I had to order again, with them running credit again, the number that came back the second time was higher than the one quoted the day before. Then, after trying to get to customer service there was somebody on the line that I swear was speaking spanish so I waited for him to finish so I could move on. He repeated himself, and I had no clue what he was saying (not even one word), he was from India. Then a Jessica kept trying to help on chat, but she was limited with the tools available to her so she could not help. Funny thing, I tried three different times and two different days and Jessica seemed to be the only CSR available ever on chat. Makes me think that Jessica may be a made up name. Customer service is horrible at ATT. Literally, go anywhere else. They have to pay their time warner bill now, so customer service rates rates went up by $.75 cents so they did not have to come up with any capitol of their own. read more

Usually have a good experience at this store...my last visit was not good....went to look at a new I phone....asked how much it was , she pointed to the price sign below it with a "duh' look.... showed me some accessories for the new phone.....went into my AT & T account to start the buying process ....told her I was paying by Visa...went to put the amount in....quoted me more than $ 30 more than the price I was originally told.. told her that's not the price you told me ....she said yes that's the price...I told her go look at the price tag you showed me earlier...she relied, Oh, that must a price error on the label....I asked her if she could talk to the manager about meeting me halfway on the price difference...she "apparently" talked to him and came back and said no can do....but we can offer you that lower quoted price on a 2020 model.....okayyyyyyy.... I told her no, I've changed my mind...she had to get a new sim card to put in my phone because she said she took out the old one... now some features on my phone are not working...i can' t even log into my At & T account now...well done sales rep .....and perhaps the manager should look up the term "customer satisfaction"...I believe it is not the same manager as the last time I was there ....it is the only At & T store in the fast growing city of Bastrop....think their sales might be going to their head ...with an attitude of you don't like it...move on, next please !! read more

We changed from a personal to a business account and purchased 2 new phones. The first person we dealt with loaded the information from one phone onto a the phone with a different number. When we returned to try and fix the issue the second person changed the phone pass code and gave us an incorrect one causing the phone to disable. We had to reset our itunes account multiple times during the visit and some how she even managed cause an issue with my email. When this was brought to the manager's attention he never accepted any responsibility and made excuses. Definitely my last time in that poorly run store. read more

18 years with another carrier. Went to that carrier first because the washing machine and I killed my cellphone. That carrier made little effort to retain me as a customer. Quoted a "take it leave it price" for a new phone at almost $100 more than what I ended spending the next day at this AT&T Store. AT&T Associate -Taylor showed me the full line and gave me information. I checked to assure she'd be on deck when I came back. The next day Taylor not only remembered me coming into the store but she had great recall of "details" from our conversation with regard to my cellphone needs. The purchase of a new phone, case and "porting" my number went flawlessly. Next time I go back I will call and set up an appointment with Taylor due to her knowledge and great personality. DO NOT GO HERE, the people are pushy and rude! I went to go buy a new phone. The lady who was helping just hovered over me the whole time. She asked me what phone I was using, and I told her I had an iPhone. Immediately she was like, just get the new iPhone, don't mess with the galaxy phones, they're harder than an iPhone. First off, I was interested in a galaxy, not another iPhone, it sounded like she thought I was stupid! Then after looking at some phones, she told me to get the new iPhone 7, don't get last years model, that's crap. She didn't give a crap about what I wanted. She kept being pushy. She started to talk to me about payments, and I told her that I don't mess with payment, I buy the phone straight up. Her reply was "oh if you have that kind of money." After they realized I had some money they got super duper friendly with me. Long story short, they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock, but even if thy did, I wouldn't have bought it there. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE unless you enjoy being lied to and getting absolutely no customer support. Went to the store in early March to get phone, internet and TV bundled together. We're on our third billing cycle had have yet to get the same amount billed twice, nor has the bill been anywhere close to what was quoted by sales person, John Baukus and his manager, Tyler. we were told we would receive a $200 debit card for switching and a $100 debit card to buy out our contract with Dish Network. The $200 card arrived but the $100 never has. In fact we were also billed for a phone number that was not ours. We went back on 4/28 to resolve these issues with John. After 2 1/2 hours without a straight answer from either John or Tyler we were finally told we would be credited for the incorrect number billing and that John would call on Tues 5/1 about the $100 card. Still have not heard from John. Called John personally as well as the store on Wed. 5/2 to check on status. Neither phone was answered, nor have my calls been returned. Called corporate customer support direct today 5/3 and found out no refund was being made on the wrong number, the account was still not set up correctly and the monthly price still was nowhere near what was quoted. I got the credit taken care of as well as the card, so 2 1/2 hours completely wasted on Saturday dealing with these two extremely incompetent employees. While I was at customer support, I filed a complaint about both John and Tyler. With employees like these two, it's amazing this store stays open. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. read more
