Terrible customer service. Dropped my phone off to get screen fixed. Never got a call it was ready. Called 3-5 times per day to check on it for 5 days straight and no one could be bothered to answer the phone or call me to let me know my phone was ready. Left messages with no call back. Finally went into the store and he said they have a high call volume. Please ... I left messages too and they are always empty. They just don't care at all. Had no problem taking my money even though the service was appalling. Edgar couldn't be bothered to tell me who his manager was or how to get ahold of them other than I would need to come when that said person happens to be in the store. Cory is absolutely rude, after $238 charge for a new screen on my iPhone and battery the battery still does not work. I simply asked him for a invoice documenting what my $238 was charged or utilized for. Tell me you're not getting an invoice or receipt and I'm going to call the cops on you. The store was full of crackhead looking people while I patiently waited for my phone to be fixed and still after $238 was not fixed correctly it worked for about six hours and it started acting up. Corrie would not assist me in fixing it again and told me to leave the store I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. If you live in Bastrop go to Austin or even Georgetown to get it fixed. Terrible experience dealing with Corey and the other burnout he has working there. Shop is filthy, hundreds of phones taken apart, pieces everywhere, food wrappers and trash on the floor. He told me it was no problem, ruined my phone, voided the warranty, kept my phone for over 2months and when I went to get it back, he handed it to me in pieces, with several parts missing. Cussed out my girlfriend and threw us out of the shop. This place needs to be shut down. Never ever go there. read more

WOW! SO HAPPY! My husband and I came to CPR to fix his phone not too long ago and we met Cory Aubin. He ended up actually helping us with a ton of other things also and from our perspective he seems to pretty much run the place by himself (not entirely sure, he may have a little help but he's def the guy in charge and the one making everything happen) he's very very busy but always makes sure he takes care of each of his clients until they're 100% satisfied. SO HARD WORKING. Seriously the best. I highly doubt the average person could handle all of the projects this guy takes on at once and he's crushing it. Super friendly, super helpful. Even if the shop is full of people and his workload is clearly large he seems calm and collected and handles each person professionally and with genuine care while also making them feel like they're an old friend. I have some web stuff in the works and he offered tons of help and great advice. Such an amazing connection to have and a cool person to know! My husband and I are so grateful to have met him and will come to CPR for everything now. I swear if this guy had an assistant or two he could take over the world One thousand stars! read more

Took my i-watch in for the glass to be reattached. Cory said it needed a new battery, he said 2 days. 3rd day I called to check and they asked what they were doing to my watch. Said another day. Went in next day and 3 people waiting all said they had been waiting for WEEKS to get their repairs or diagnoses done. One lady asked for her laptop back and walked out. Clerk asked who I was and what they were doing to my watch AGAIN. Waited several minutes, and Cory finally came out and said the battery was back ordered. He ordered another and said 2 more days and he'd fix it right away when it came in. I came in end of 2nd day, watch had not been worked on. 3 more clients waiting, and complaining. When I walked in one client said "great, there goes another 30 minutes" meaning he stops working on their stuff and takes care of the newest customer. Clerk came back out and said it would be next day. (it has been about 2 weeks at this time). The next day the clerk called and told me my watch was ready. When I went to pick it up, they brought out someone else's watch. Not even the same style or color as mine. At this point, Cory stopped what he was working on to do my watch right then. Which made the other customers waiting unhappy. When she brought it out and put it on the charger, it would not work. (It was working when I brought it in). She took it back to the back and he tried at least two more batteries. None worked. I had already paid for the repair the day before to help save time at pick up - since it was clear anyone coming in should be prepared to wait a very long time for service. So at this point I gave up and asked for a refund of my payment, and to get my watch back without the repair. I heard Cory say behind the wall that he wasn't sure which was my original battery. I guess he put in whatever he had. She refunded my payment and gave me my watch (with the glass glued back on!) When I got it home and tried to charge it or turn it on, it was completely broken/dead. It will not charge, or work at all now. They do not give detailed receipts of any kind - they simply take your name (first) and phone number, stick a label on your product and that's it. There's no way for me to go back and argue that it was working when I brought it in. That is my fault for not asking for a receipt and notation of the work required. I encountered 6 different customers while interacting in person in their shop. None were happy. Not one. All were complaining of long wait times to see the clerk, long wait times (days-weeks) for a diagnoses or repair of their phone or laptop issues. Not sure what happened to CPR since my first experience with them was good. That was over a year ago - so perhaps they have changed ownership. I hate leaving bad reviews, but these people were just rude. Took phone in for new battery, seems simple enough, right? Wrong..... they called me 2hrs later said it's ready. Got iPhone, they said they replaced the screen because the other one was cracked. I didn't ask for a new screen! So $50 turned into $100... whatever. I left, phone totally black, won't work. Went back within 10min and lady behind counter had no idea who I was... really? I was just there 10min ago. She said it will take a while, went back to work, and came back at 430p before they closed. 10 people there, all being ignored. I finally had to say something, I was getting my phone that I had already paid for hours before. She rolled her eyes when I asked for my phone, really!? I called and spoke with the owner, Cory regarding replacement of the battery for my Iphone 6s+. I appreciated his patience in answering my questions when it was apparent he was busy. After running errands in Austin I decided to stop in the CPR to see if Cory had time to replace the battery in my phone. He was kind enough to make the time and charge a fair price. I would much prefer to support local business when possible. He has a clean store and excellent customer service skills. this place sucks. like really. the first time i went there, he took advantage of my elderly grandma saying it was $150 for a screen replacement! ridiculous. when i walked in, he quickly lowered it. CORY (the main employee there) was rude and disrespectful, making fun of other customers behind their backs. when he would get a phone call, he was once again rude and left them on hold for minutes on end even though he wasn't doing much of anything at all. as for my screen repair, the quality was horrible. not even a week after getting it fixed, it fell from only two feet and hit the ground, in a case mind you. shattered. pieces have been falling out for days. their website claims they have a warranty fixing every faulty repair for FREE "no questions asked." i called today and he didn't answer the first 2 times. when he finally did answer he said there was no proof that the screen was week and that he'd charge me for a repair DESPITE THEIR WEBSITES WARRANTY. he should be put out of business. read more

The customer service is excellent, and they did an awesome job fixing the parts of the phone that were fixable, while being honest about parts that are not worth fixing or are not possible to fix.
