There's a way that information gathering can be done in the natural flow of the conversation. I've been at this since 830am and was ready to buy a phone. There's a way to tactfully correct your customer. When I said Samsung store, i meant to say they said they had a Samsung Diagnostic Computer which analyzes the contents. Yes, they are an insurance company. But they told me what was up, didnt pitch anything new and apologized. Maybe they were lying. But in the end they handled the situation w tact Indirectly call your customer a liar: You asked me if the phone got wet, anything spilled on it, do I let my kids play with it? Not to my knowledge and no my kid doesnt play w it. And then I was gonna say but who is 100% when it comes to spill or splash? But I didnt even get that far. You cut me off saying, "Hey man. Im just asking you some open ended questions (Nice, all good sales books recommend those) but then you said you said your kids dont play w it, I think they do... Bro, just keep that last part to yourself. I walked at that point because my phone is my livelihood. I dont know of anything spilling on it. Another reason my kids dont use my phone is because they have a PS5, PS4, Switch, DS, Fire Tablet, Samsung Tablet, Nintendo DS and other laptops of the like. When I said no, I meant it. Again, this store probably does good work. Just need to brush up on some modern sales books. If I could give zero stars I would. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and…read moremanagement takes no responsibility. I have never experienced such difficulty in simply upgrading to a new phone. My old phone was deactivated and they literally sent me home with a new SIM card with the new phone sitting right there and told me to just order online and wait for two weeks. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes several times and when I spoke to the sales associate that took care of this interaction his response was "I don't own At&T so I can't control anything" and the managers response was "I'm not really sure what happened since I didn't take part in the interaction". So if you can go to literally any other store I would do that because the employees at this location do not care about the customers.

I'd give zero stars if I could. My story is too long but I'll try a condensed version. The…read moremanager has zero clue what she's talking about. I had a decent plan prior to going there but the manager convinced me she could save me over $100 a month. I have 10 lines, which I know isn't AT & T's issue. So, she told me I'd save $100+ a month. I was very concerned about changing anything because you can't go back once you change but she talked me into it because I was spending WAY too much money and she was going to fix that and blah, blah, blah. She promised me that I wouldn't lose my employee discount and all the other perks I had after being a customer for almost twenty years. I had two phones to trade in and only got credit for one. Couldn't prove I turned in the phone even though I took a picture of the receipt because their printers weren't working the day I was there. I'm still not getting credit for the one phone. I hesitated going to that store in the first place because I had a bad experience there once before but I bit the bullet and went. Ugh. At the end of this, I was screwed royally, lost my employee discount and my bill is OVER $100 more a month. I'm trying to work with actual AT & T retention department to try to fix this mess all these months later. There is so much more to this story but you get the gist. Just don't go. Stay away from that place. They truly do not know the rules of AT & T.
